Did you pass? How long does it take for your license to arrive in America?

Had a conversation about it the other day at work, it's shitty that when you pass you have to wait two to three weeks for it to arrive.
You're a fresh driver that just got into how to drive and then they take that ability away for a few weeks and make sure that when you get into a car you feel like you haven't driven in years : ^) (aka being a fucking terror on the road)

I hate it because 1) it has no spoiler on the back
2) the fuckin trans is a piece of shit
3) its a 4 cylinder so on-ramps are fucking awful
[I need to hit 80 early on in the on-ramp else I'm entering a 100km/h zone at 80-90]

I've got a cat headpillow on my seat, a bunch of miku/dragonball bag danglers I forgot what theyre called, lightning mcqueen ooshie, 2x solar powered bobble thingos [one cat one of the queen], and dancing jesus.
I've also got a ton of plushies in my back window but not enough that it's a hazard/illegal.

only positive is is that it has a bluetooth radio so I get to play my jams

Nothing wrong with 4cylinders, mostly less stress on the engine if its a good block :D

 

I could definitely get up to 100 in <16 seconds but I spent 1.5 years driving a 6 cylinder soo yeah. 6>4 any day

i passed my permit test, but once you pass it you have to wait 6 months after you take your permit to be able to take your drivers license test. so i have to wait 4 more months to be able to know how long it’s gunna take to get my actual license.

That's not a picture of my actual car but that's basically how my car looks. It's a 2001 Volkswagen Passat with a silver paint scheme. It has a straight 4 cylinder 1.8 liter turbo engine, with a 5 speed manual transmission. It's old and needs a few new parts but it drives amazingly well.

I remember being in America and just being awed by every mustang and muscle car that drove by, they're so uncommon here.
