I'm not sure if a thread like this has been made (sorry if it has) but I am curious where you guys fall on the political spectrum. Take the quiz here and post your results below. My best fit was "The Next Generation Left" Generally young, well-educated and financially comfortable, the Next Generation Left have very liberal attitudes on many issues, including homosexuality, abortion, the environment and foreign policy. While overall supportive of an activist government, most are wary of expanding the social safety net. Most also have relatively positive views of Wall Street’s impact on the economy. While most affiliate with the Democratic Party or lean Democratic, few consider themselves strong Democrats. Compare groups on key issues.
I'm also a Next Generation Left, even though the questions were directed to Americans, which I am not. Also, the link for the quiz is: http://www.people-press.org/quiz/political-typology/
These tests usually say I'm uber liberal but I'm in the middle. On some issues I lean left and on others I lean right. I think it would be irresponsible of me to blanket decide one way or the other based on how I feel about some people on the left/right. I vote based on issue and what I feel would benefit the greater majority. I tend to keep my spiritual beliefs out of it.
According to the test, I'm a young outsider. I felt the questions were too absolute, and didn't have enough choices, and usually, the present choices didn't really fit into my views. The political compass is better.
solid liberal. took some tests and things in my ap government/political science classes and moderate on everything. (tbh thought i'd end up w/ the next gen left)
