CheatBreaker & 1.7

When CheatBreaker is finally released it will only work on 1.7 compatible servers but this server is only 1.8 compatible and up.

The reason why CheatBreaker could help this server is because there is an enormous increase in hackers on this server and CheatBreaker helps eliminates them. CheatBreaker also includes all of the mods that are allowed and not listed as cheating. (All mods are listed below). CheatBreaker also boosts your fps. CB can double your fps or even triple them.

If you don't know what CheatBreaker is, it's a SEPERATE app launcher you can download on your PC. (You do NOT use the original Mojang launcher) . CheatBreaker has an anti-cheat program built inside it. CheatBreaker also includes the latest mods AND updates them as they become more enhanced. This includes mods such as:

• Zan’s Minimap
• ToggleSprint
• Potion Effect HUD
• Armor Status HUD
• Direction HUD
• Keystrokes HUD
• Coordinates
• CPS HUD
• FPS HUD

If hackers enable any hacks while running the CB launcher, and they get detected cheating on any protected server, your account, IP, and Hardware ID will be banned for 18 months. This means you will be banned from joining all CheatBreaker protected servers such as Hypixel, MineHQ, Arcane network, etc. In addition to servers that enforce bans using CheatBreaker. It will always most likeley double your FPS. This is much needed so people can PvP smooth and slik.

Jerry and Harry, please consider this suggestion on allowing 1.7 to launch on your server. This will attract many Minecraft players and it will make this server popular again like the good old days.

We're not going to require users to use a specific launcher. This server has always been designed so players with a brand new Minecraft installation can connect to the server with zero issues.

Having a dual solution where it's not required but compatible just defeats the point.

 

Well, since most mods now on this server (no offense) are not doing their job maybe you could use the CheatBreaker to help your server out. I love this server and I will never stop coming on this server, but I can tell you that when this server was more popular there used to be over 2k+ people on this server and maybe I caught a hacker twice or once every week & I used to play everyday like literally every single day. Now there is less people and more hackers. When I come in the server now it's a chaos. I see hackers fighting hackers and they don't even mind to hide their hacks, knowing mods won't log on. They don't even care to make it less obvious. My point is mods used to be way better and more active in servers 2 years ago. I am pretty sure you can agree to this because even you yourself, you used to log on everyday and see how everything is going and not only you other mods. Even if it's a small argument I remeber you logged on to stop the argument when me and Zyakri starting "roasting" each other. The whole server stared roasting each other one side on Zyakri's and one side on mine. You logged on just because of a ARGUMENT, shows how mods used to be active 24/7. Mods need to be more like they used to be 2 years ago. But they are failing to become the full complete mods they need to be and stepping down their effort. Please don't take this in anyway or form offensive, I love the mods and this server to death. I just feel as though this server needs a full on revamp on these mods or not because we have CheatBreaker. Wouldn't you love to see this server hacker free? Because I sure would..

 

@iRescue, this is a good idea, but there are at least 2 issues.

1. Beginners can't join the server and they'll just leave.
2. Hackers would just leave the server if it's required to do this.
3. Players would not join the server if it switched.

To me, if this happened. More people would just leave and leave and leave until the server's death. And the mods are doing a good job. There's probably behind the scenes stuff you don't know about that the mods do really friggen well.

 

I mean I agree with two of your points but for the 2nd one you said hackers would just leave, well that would be brilliant honestly, more of a pro rather than a con.
Not that I agree with the rest of the idea though due to cons posted above.

 

@CoopTheDupe You are actaully wrong, players would not leave. Players would actaully come back.. People LEFT because of the 1.8 update. Everyone wants the 1.7 because factions main point is PVP, not nice looking blocks we already have enough of those in 1.7. Are you serious "hackers would just leave" isn't that the main point my friend ? Trust me people WILL come back. All the OG's on this server will come back. I'm telling you no one wants this 1.8 1.9 shitty PvP...

 

I don't know about you, but wouldn't the hackers not used the actual client to hack? Like you said, "If hackers enable any hacks while running the CB launcher", I wouldn't think hackers are stupid enough to use hacks. The "18 month ban" is too long for a ban and destroys the offenses that are shown in the rules, 30 days to permanent. And yet again, its 1.7, we're talking about efficiency of logging in the server without any delays.

How are you so sure about that? Do you even see the ban messages that have been done multiple times or atleast mods being online? Showing up in tab would make the hacker disable their hacks, wouldn't it? In another event, the owners said they're gonna be strict with the staff so ya wouldn't mind.

Let me inform you that the server doesn't concentrate about PvP and I think all you care about is factions. Just pointing out perspectives.
