    I'm not even sure if you guys even recognize me at this point, but as a concerned netizen for a couple of my friends, I need to go out of my way and ask for a little bit of help.

    I'd like to ask you guys for a copy of short poems you have for English classes or whatever. Bonus points if it's in Spanish. I'll be compiling them and sending them over to my friends IN PRIVATE.

    Here's the entire text of the backstory in the form and a link to the google form itself:
    Hi, my name is Claire, and I'm knocking on your hearts for a bit of kindness.

    I have a friend, let's call him Eugene, with a cluster of mental illnesses like PTSD, depression, narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. He's trans and cannot come out, along with his sister, who's bi, to his family because they're conservative and would abuse them both further.
    I've noticed in recent conversations that my friend's jaded, alone, and unhappy during holidays. This was when he talked to me last Halloween telling me about how he can't decide whether to live or die. I suggested that they could go out with his sister, at least have some bonding times, and I noticed that he didn't immediately figure out it was Halloween until I mentioned it.
    I was horrified to think both of them are also this jaded during Christmas, and while it may not be important anymore to them, it's still bad. The dad doesn't believe in holidays and the mom is unsupportive. Both of them are essentially trapped in a bad atmosphere for their mental illnesses. They can't go out on their own.
    I want to give them both a Christmas gift with the help of my friends so that a) this Christmas would be better than the rest and b) I can show them there are plenty of people that care and not like their unsupportive peers. All I ask is either a short poem (postmodernist is preferred) or a short story made by YOU. A letter of encouragement to them is optional, but appreciated if you aren't confident in your writing skills. I can proofread anyway, just tell me if you would like me to.

    None of your works will be used without permission, it would only be compiled on an e-scrapbook and sent through email. Let's say it's licensed under Creative Commons 3.0, but hey, it's going to be sent privately anyway.

    Would you like to help me out? If you have multiple things uploaded on a website, you are allowed to link. And ask me additional questions on the thread or in PMs.

    "Oh man, it looks so fishy!"
    I understand if you don't trust me because what I'm basically asking is for you guys to submit your creative works. Intellectual property, all that shiz. So let's make a deal and license it under Creative Commons or something. Or just believe me when I say it will be sent privately. I don't particularly have a reputation of being a liar on these forums. I assure you.

    "Fishier that there's no identity of the 'friends' this whackjob is saying"
    It's deliberately kept private to protect their identities. Who knows if their parents know about me secretly and are watching me? There is kind of a privacy issue here if I unveil more about them that might set them off, no?

    I'll be indebted to you if you help me with this. What scares me most about them is their clinical depression. I can't do it alone, as I'm under a lot of fire too.

    EDIT: Likes but no friggin' response to the form? Woot. Likes don't help someone live a little longer.

    It doesn't have to be postmodern, though. Any kind of poetry is ok.

    Hang In There

    Hello, my friend; You're on my mind,
    Because you're somehow ailing,
    But your response to any challenge
    Has always been unfailing.

    So I'm confident you'll win again;
    Hang in there, and you'll see;
    You'll be back on top in no time,
    Tackling life courageously.

    Just tell your friend this poem, and if they need a laugh just tell them the Poet's name ;)

    I'm sorry, but I don't accept poems not made by people here. It has to be originally made by amateur poets.
