Hello other forum members, this is a problem I have noticed with me. It's rather small, but it is to clear up any misconceptions about me, and maybe even others. You guys all know how I am personality wise right? I am generally extremely serious 24/7, but the fun thing about this is that I can manage to have fun and be serious at the same time, which allows me to fully enjoy this forum. Another thing I would consider a trait is that when I see something I like doing, I try to find ways to improve it. Use this forum as an example, because I love this place to the core, so I have tried to find ways to improve it. (Hence all my suggestion threads and PSAs, which you can find on my information page) I also like to rant about things, which can be seen as very critical, and you are correct. I try to make it appropriate to post here on the forum, because I think people can learn a thing or two about certain topics. The problem is that, people can see me as too serious or too critical. People think that because that this is a minecraft forum, that you cannot be serious (much) While this is a minecraft forum, people from all over the world go on here with different opinions, and we all love sharing them. But this is not the point, and this does not matter right now. This is something I have seen people say about me more than once, (No, I am not referring to @Denisvenom9 , I'd rather consider you a friend :)) particularly on my surveys, which I have two. One is asking for people's opinion on me so I can either improve or can feel happy, the other is asking for my opinion about them (My TBH form). Well, people can be extremely negative about me on them, and it is hard for me to tell the difference between trolls and people being serious about me. This normally would be perfectly fine, but the problem about them criticizing me about something about me is... 1. They stay anonymous, which is a terrible thing in this case, because I can take criticism very well. The reason why this is problem is that it makes me feel terrible when they say I offended them for whatever reason, which they do not state. This means that I cannot talk to them why they got offended, and this makes me feel bad. Even if it is too late for sorry, it would help me and the person if they talked to me directly about it. This is enough to put me in distress, because I am actually very kind. I can see why people would think this about me, but just making a statement saying about how mean I am does not help me improve, or say sorry. It is a bit hypocritical actually, but that is not the point. The message I am trying to convey is that if something offends you in any way, just talk to them about it! Keeping a grudge does not help! Okay, sorry if I seemed a bit persistent there, but this is an example of why I had to make this thread. Normally I would not post a picture of it, but it is not like I am leaking this persons name or anything. This makes me feel extremely bad, not only for me, but for the person making it. This is not what I wanted to come off as. This is the third one I have received so far, so it reached a point to where I wanted to address it publicly so I could apologize for whatever made them feel that way. Contact me of you think or you are said person(s). Also, something I need to say is that I am a hypocrite for making this thread, but this is not anything I could leave alone. Sometimes it's good to be honest it can tell people they have things about them they can improve. But some people take it way to serious and make a big deal out of it
