Gala 7!

Hey guys! If you haven't been here for at it least a year, you might be unfamiliar with the J&H Gala. It's a party hosted by a J&H community member for the sake of fun, and not really much else to it other than just a fun event.

The last one was hosted by the late @athenswill (using @Yomc's account) in March of last year if I'm not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong), and I think we're due for another.

Lately this community has lost a lot of it's "fun" aura. This might be because we're growing up and going through a lot of things we won't understand until we're older. I feel like just getting everybody together to forget about that and have a good thing may be part of the cure for this.

So Star, where does this big ol' party of yours take place?
I'm glad you asked, me! It takes place at Rogue, under new management!

Yup, Yomc himself told me that he was okay with me taking over his faction. And I'm glad. It's a nice faction and a great place to throw a Gala. Some of the buildings are a bit wrecked, but I'm certain they can be repaired.

Well, June or July or sometime in the summer is what I'm going to say for now. I don't have an exact date yet.

Will there be games?
Maybe!
I haven't made that many plans yet, but there might be a quiz game and a skin contest or something.
Possibly Star Radio 4 too?
We'll see lol.

Are you going to cancel this party like you did at least 3 others?

Do you need help with anything?
Oh god yes.

First of all, I need a playlist of songs for a custom resource pack as I always do. Feel free to suggest any song you think everyone will like/would be good for a party. If I get a lot of song request I'll either pick them based on my own bias or do a vote.
If I don't get enough song requests to fill up all the music discs, any discs without songs will become Evanescence - Bring me to Life.

Feel free to also suggest activities/small party games.

(Also, I have a special task for you if we're good friends or I trust you. PM me.)

Just a quick question, do you need to go on teamspeak in order to join the Gala? ;-;

 

You might miss out on some events without Teamspeak, but you don't necessarily need it.

 

Oke. Cause I'm not allowed to use teamspeak. But I'll try and maybe come for the first time and join some events ^.^

 

Ooh, I have lots of songs you could use as for a playlist, I'll PM you some later. and as for activites? Maybe you could make a maze or something like that for people to explore, or a tour of Rogue. (because it's definetly worthy of one.)

And of course, I can't wait for this :D:D

I'll try to pick a time that works for both people in America and Australia.
It'll be when school's out in most places though and if school is still in session for some people, probably on a weekend.

I was expressing my suprise at the fact that star still does it as i helped out w/ it in 2014

 

I'm sorry and your post just made me think you were upset that these parties were still happening. It sounded very negative but I'm glad you didn't mean it that way.
