I have nothing to do until college life actually comes. I graduated high school last March and am heading off on August. So much time to kill. Preferences: 1. With bloodshed to a reasonable degree. Not just plain violence, it has to be justified. Good examples would be AoT (you have to fight things trying to eat you) and Angel Beats (you don't die anyway). 2. Supernatural or scifi or fantasy theme. Anything with supernatural stuff is interesting enough for me! :D 3. Plot-driven anime is a good anime. It has to have a definite story. 4. Short. I don't have *that* much time to watch anime with over a hundred episodes long. Limit is 1 to around 50 episodes. 5. Already finished. Nuff said 6. Action genre. I don't really want anime revolving around basketball... Here are the anime I already watched: Angel Beats! Beyond the Boundary/Kyoukai no Kanata Code Geass Planning to watch: Death Note Magi: Labyrinth of Magic Attack on Titan (when I get over the horrifying thought of getting eaten) Yamato Nadeshiko Clannad Oreimo Madoka Magika Tokyo Ghoul Donten ni Warau Mirai Nikki Black Butler Noragami Terror in Resonance A Certain Magical Index A Certain Scientific Railgun Planning to rewatch: Avatar (Aang, not Korra.) Fairytail Please provide me with an overview of the series to get me interested. I don't watch unless I get hooked. Thanks.
I'm not sure what to suggest- Just stay away from To Love-ru and Highschool DXD if you're not a fan of nudity.
Clannad Kirby: Right Back At Ya! Haven't watched much, those are the only ones good enough to recommend ;n;
These aren't anime but I think you'll enjoy them Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: The Legend of Korra
Angel Beats is awesome af but ummm my top 2 1. Attack on Titan (lmao not even dat scary) 2. Tokyo Ghoul. (recently finished this anime, 24 episodes, not on netflix) first season = really good second season = not as good
Haha, this made me laugh. I am currently 13 years old and my dad said avatar was for kids x) Thanks for saying this now I can show my dad im not the only one who watches this c:
You might like Soul Eater. They are a bunch of guys (Main characters) who hunt souls of the mentally insane/power hungry people and witches (Justified in my opinion) with people who can either wield weapons or be weapons. Eh, take a look at it. I definitely found it interesting. (4 seasons long, ended)
Jerry, Avatar is my childhood! :D You gave me an idea... I'll rewatch the series again. I've watched SAO, but sadly, the last part of season 1 killed it for me. Oreimo is short, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to watch it. Not sure. The reactions to it are negative... Wow, this actually got me interested. I think I'll like that. Still unsettling to watch, though. Things eating people. It's one of the few things that get me horrified :( I've watched an episode of Tokyo Ghoul and it's kinda my type. What's with the second season though? Avatar is for kids, but it was interesting enough for both my parents to be fans of it. It's dark and happy at the same time. I heard Soul Eater's ending was shit. I mean, I have watched some episodes (they were great), but when they went on to the ending, one of my classmates said it wasn't good and we moved on to Beyond the Boundary. The first is good enough for me. Thanks, I'll watch it. AND I FORGOT ABOUT BLACK BUTLER. I'd love that. Noragami... that's interesting enough. Thanks, y'all. I finally got something to do until August xD
A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun are two good ones. Railgun's the side story of Index with different characters in each but in the same setting. The universe is Academy City, where kids with ESP powers train. In Index, the main character has the ability to negate any supernatural ability with his right hand. He has to protect a girl with a crap-ton of information in her mind while finding out the city's secrets. There's action in it, but not as much as SnK or SAO. It's packed with stuff about the supernatural, though. In Railgun, the main character's one of the most powerful espers in the city, who can control electricity. She basically works with her friends to protect civilians, I guess. The series just tracks her exploits with friends. I see you have Mirai Nikki on your list. Oh that anime is really good in my opinion. It's the queen of yandere anime. Watch it
There's one anime that I like more than any other - even more than Death Note and Soul Eater, which is saying something. Zankyou no Terror may just be the best anime that I've ever watched. It was actually recommended to me by a certain Spaghetti, who turns out to have pretty good taste in anime. The music is great. The plotline is awesome. Two terrorists, leaving a riddle that has to be solved in order to stop their bombs... And the point of view centers on the terrorists. It's really innovative and cool. I highly recommend it.
