Voting poll [Reset]

What do you mean, enough time? Its all eventually going to get erased again. I think there's no point, or needs to be a stopping point. Maybe do it a few more times, but no more after that.

 

Dude if people kept their money then they would be OP within a couple days. Doesn't make any sense.

 

So you'r saying if i go around the whole factions server wilderness and blow it all up with tnt and there is no where to build then the server should stay like that? Lol, no.

 

Where did you get that from anything I said? I said if someone builds another OP base, its just going to get reset. Even if they wipe off everything, money and echest, people are still going to become OP again. And then another reset comes. Then the cycle continues.

 

So then you'r saying, If the whole server resets then why play it anymore if its going to keep reseting? Dude its minecraft enjoy what you have. Even if it resets it won't happen again for a long time.

 

Yea, but its still gonna get reset. I vote that it resets only a few more times then never again

The majority of the land is trashed and there are a ton of inactive factions everywhere, so most players who aren't already extremely OP won't give it a shot, including myself. Also, since it's just a map reset, none of the old players will be too upset or anything, I assume. All of their kits and such would still be there, so I don't see why they can't just start fresh with their actual factions.
I'm in for the reset. I'd love to see new players be able to join into the factions community. #Chezzy

We should not keep our echest, balance or p4. Why? Because people would start off OP, while people who now have almost nothing, would have almost nothing.

You asked for a reset, and what's the point of resetting if you keep all your things?

 

Yeah but people like me spend like 9 months on the server and mzelden has 9 million that would be horrible man .

 

Me , @MSZ , @Lars , @NdianX spend like 9 months in this and we have nice stuff let people just kep the echests and money

 

Keeping our echest is a mistake as I said before. Many people believe it or not, still have alot of duplicated creeper eggs. Stacks upon stacks and how that can effect the reset is by storing those duped creeper eggs in someone alt echest and wait after the reset. Then what? There will be no point in buying creeper eggs because people would have mass amounts of duplicated creeper eggs.

Now about keeping our money/balance. This would be a horrible mistake. Why? Because for example, people like mzelden with 10 million would be op right away.

Now I know you'r saying that you worked hard for that money and yes you did i realize that. Weather factions resets fully and or allows us to keep our items its still a map reset. As Willy stated in the thread.

Again, it's not a reset if you keep your echest and balance. You could just put a set of p4, sharp5 sword, some duped ceggs, gapples, obby et voila. You will be OP in the new server. You asked for a reset, so stop crying about your stuff. You're gonna have to get over it eventually

 

IMO:

Factions should be reset asap.

Too many people were abusing the duping/glitches in the past and most of those items are still circulating.

Many people still have the money gotten from the duping, and therefore I think both money and enderchest should be reset too.

I am not playing Factions anymore so I am speaking from neutral point of view.

We need a clean and fresh map, and equal start for everyone.
