Minecraft Is Herobrine real or fake?

I think he's fake. Although people say he's real I think he's not. For starters Herobrine is Notch's brother right? Wrong. Notch does not have a brother. I want you guys to answer for me. Please shade real in green and fake in red.

This myth is just nonsense!

Is Herobrine in Minecraft?
Herobrine is not in Minecraft.

There are no references to him at all in the source code, and there is no code to allow for any entity to act like Herobrine. There is no level terrain code to generate redstone torches, 2x2 tunnels or elaborate dungeons with traps.

There is no possible way Herobrine can ever exist in any unmodded clients or servers. Any claims that he is in Minecraft are completely false. Any appearances he may have are caused by mods being installed.

All signs of Herobrine, like trees with no leaves, random glowstone towers, suspicious messages on signs, etc. are either glitches, formatted naturally, or placed by another player to mislead you.

The Minecraft Wiki and Forums do not partake in any viral Herobrine hoax. Any deletion of Herobrine-related comments or stories are purely because Herobrine does not exist, and the stories are either fictional, with an intent to mislead others, or the result of users playing mods installed on their game without their knowledge.

We all know that the Herobrine story came from a person who might saw an "easter egg" in the fog. Everything about Herobrine came from the one story that created it, the man who received "He was, but he is no longer one of us" from Mojang. We also know that Notch (Markus Person) doesn't have a brother in reality, even people still saying that Herobrine is his brother. And more rumors spread about many things, like that he is the first Steve or the creator of the Nether.

Since the Herobrine story is spread around the internet, people started getting into Minecraft. Viewing the game, looking at the history, some even bought the game. It caused like a lot of people discover Minecraft, (Vareide showed it first) which boost the users of Minecraft into like.. a lot. It's just my opinion on this 0ne.

Mojang:
This affects Mojang because of the flooding messages of people asking Herobrine questions, which made every Minecraft user afraid of playing the game since that story came out. So it started the -Removed Herobrine for every update so everyone will have fun playing Minecraft to know that Herobrine is no longer in Minecraft.

Community:
Well.. It's a different story,
The community grew and grew, which created many servers and mini-communities (Like this one). Herobrine is alive in the Minecraft community because Most people believe Herobrine is real, because believing can make a thing exists. Some people make Fan art or buildings related to Herobrine or Mods.

So, Is Herobrine Real?

It depends on how he was used for or seen for.

 

Notch has a dead brother. Apparently, his dead brother got into the game before he died.

 

There are also theories that state Notch murdered his brother and put him inside Minecraft.

 

I think he is real because that makes minecraft much more awesomer.

Let's face it, if the herobrine rumor did not exist, minecraft would be much more lamer, along with less youtube videos, (such as J&H) due to the fact that herobrine is noticed and mentioned in many videos.

Besides, if he's real, it just makes minecraft that much more exciting. :D

 

Herobrine is in fact fake. Notch himself confirmed it in an interview. He has and always will be just a myth. Any YouTube "sightings" of him are either photoshop or mods.

 

All the "Herobrine Removed" pieces of information in the updates are are jokes. Herobrine has never existed as a mob in the game. He is fake.

in 2009, mojang had a player registered with the name Herobrine, but that player wasn't used, untill that streamer found out about him and tried to troll us, he did the steam on purpose, after that, his story came up, when everyone headed to notch, he approved that he wasn't a mob/glitch/ghost in minecraft, and about the story of the murdered brother and story in the mine and bla bla bla, notch has no brother what so ever, and the " - Removed Herobrine" on the laucher are made as a joke, even though the stream had some close footage of Herobrine, that was a retextured iron door, a player cannot be flat like that, and the far away close up was just a photoshop
