I recently tried to download one of the old Skyblock world from this post: https://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/old-skyblock-worlds.121920/ But they don't seem to be available anymore. Does anyone happen to have a copy of any of these worlds?
I have all five Skyblocks saved. Right now I have these on my Google Drive. SkyBlock 1 SkyBlock Season 2 I'll leave these up till I get request for the others. I have limited space so I plan on putting up Skyblocks 2 to 5 on request. SB1 is big when unpacked 75GB. Be in Minecraft 1.8 or odd things happen. I was in 1.12 and my island was in/under an ocean. Also make firetick false or some island burn. I also have Survival and 3 Creatives saved. Hi!! Would anyone happen to know which years each skyblock season covers? I played around 2011-2013, and I'm really wanting to find my old islands for a nostalgia hit! Also once downloading the worlds, is there a specific way to find my old islands?
Skyblock season 2 is for 1st of December 2018 - 21st of November 2020. The other worlds are for prior to 1st of December 2018, as all five skyblock worlds existed simultaneously, although skyblock 4 & 5 are much later additions. Unfortunately, there's not really a way to find your old islands. You'll need to find some coordinates in old screenshots/logs/videos to get there.
I have tried scanning the data files but no luck so far. My hope was to find signs with names and then extract the XYZ. Sadly I haven't been able to do much lately a fall in March is taking time to recover. Also this last month it's been to hot to run my systems during the day. At night I am working on a prototype for a group and if all goes well I'll make some good money to cover DR and ER cost with hopefully some left over for some $5 gift cards to share with skyblock players. Cooloe what name did you use back then? If your going to run old skyblocks be in 1.8 or very odd things may happen. When I can run a few systems and run/fly around skyblock2 to 5 writing names and XYZ down. Right now skyblock1 is to big for the little boxes I'm using. Have FUN Cooloe drop by skyblock us visit as I my be on system in other room. Will be setting up a AFK doorbell so if I'm in the same room I'll hear it and see who's there LOL
I know it's a year out, but have you had any success locating a sign with names? That was my approach (looking for sb and peaceful survival bases) and I somehow recall doing this in the past but cannot find any tool to do this job now.
