Hey so I've been reading a few comics but now I don't know what other comics I should read and wanted to hear if anyone had some recommendations to some comics I could read.
until now I have read Batman hush and the Joker Death of the family. Batman the killing joke, Batman by Gaslight, nightwing vol. 1 Better than Batman, Batman Mad love And other stories, Harleen behind the painted smile, Robin son of Batman vol 1 and 2 and Batman A death in the Family.
im not really sure if these count or whatever but the Amulet series and the Bone series were both fucking amazing
if you've watched Avatar: The Last Airbender or its sequel show The Legend of Korra, both stories are expanded upon in comic/graphic novel form
they're fun stories on their own but heads up, you won't know what's going on without the prior context of either show. Obvi it's only my opinion and you can make your own decisions, but I highly advise watching these shows - Avatar: The Last Airbender especially - not because they're awesome shows (they really are, no joke), but because they make the experience of reading the comics so much more fulfilling. It was at-least like this in my experience. This general advice applies more to Legend of Korra's show and comic sets as they come after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender, but having some prior knowledge of this universe, the lore, would enhance the experience of any of this content
I second ATLA. Graphic Novels are good. It's the show I watch when I need a pick me up. Uncle Iroh advice ftw.
this is ot but do you know of the two novels (like actual novels) also? The Kyoshi ones. I own them both but haven't read either yet. I've heard nothing but good things about them - @Seiyuro I know I'm dropping a lot on ya but if you find yourself liking Avatar and aren't grossed out by the idea of classic reading, they're worth a shot, too also np man, hope you find yourself enjoying all these new suggestions
