Emerging Media and/or Computational Media with minors in Sports Management, Investing, Economics, etc.

i looked into the road of CS but what i’ve heard from other students it’s not something i would be interested in

good thing about the uni’s i’ll be applying to the next couple months is they’re very loose about what subjects you want to study in. If I wanted to get a doctorate and study game design at the same time I probably could.

that being said… i’m a senior. what the fuck

very very detailed oriented and most internships expect perfection from you off the bat. i hate being put on the spot with puzzles especially when it’s something i’m not very good at.

some people like that, just not me.

CS is not just code - it’s learning to code in a shit ton of languages plus networking and other stuff

I'm currently in my first semester of college for an entry level computer support career, should I decide to I can expand upon this with more advanced networking, security, etc. Of course most companies will have certain certifications they'll want their employees to get, some will even pay for you to go get them and in the long run make you even more money.

That's just the course I'm going through right now, I might personally invest some time into learning some extra skills such as a little bit of coding, website design, etc.

Studying at the moment to be a media assistant, I specialize in Audio visualization and illustrative expression, basically what I do is sound effects or music with also photo handling. It has a lot of career paths for me to take and I am very happy to be there since it's one of the best places to study and very difficult to get in. Thousands of apply there but only certain people get in I only got 16 classmates and it usually is 20.

I am hoping to be a radio announcer or music production.

To be honest, mainly pretty boring. My passion goes out to nature, animals and machinery and this job allows me to combine all three of them.
So going out and driving heavy (or light) machinery and doing my job is very fun, but learning the very fine details about plants and having to memorize them all is a very boring and big tedious part of it. I care for nature, but don't care so much about learning every plant and bug :P
I do like everything that else that comes with it, the staying safe during working the fine techniques on how to do your job in a way that is most efficient but also not creating a huge impact on that piece of nature is cool. And finding the tracks or signs of animals or even the animals at times.

What is the Wildlife side like in America? And did he just follow the course and leave it at that or is he performing research?

And since last time I showed stuff you guys liked it so, here it goes again.
This is probably the most interesting thing I've done recently, since I am mainly stuck getting rid of invasive exotic plants.
This is a video of me driving on Peat soil, which is a form of soil that is made from plants that are not able to decay. I think you can also call it wetlands, but I wouldn't know the right English terms for it.

The cool thing about this is, that over the years more land is created but it's pretty much useless land for building and outdoor activities so it's perfect land to grow plants that benefit the area a lot since it's mainly undisturbed. This piece of land is covered in Cranberry and Reed, so we mow a big space in the middle in order to let other things get a chance of growing. In the video you can see me driving the reeds that we mowed to the water side, where a boat can pick it up later. We leave around 4 meters of reed on the outside for the birds and other animals to chill in.
We either let the mowed reed sit and become part of the ''ground'' or we take it away, leaving it helps create a stronger layer of Peat soil which is good for us since we can then actually walk or drive over it with our machines. And taking it away is good for the growth, since we are not suffocating and existing or new plants by leaving them covered.

The cool point I wanted to get too before I wrote all this, is that you're on something that floats. That place, if you were to put a shovel in the ground you'd just poke a hole in it and water would start flooding in since there's nothing underneath you but water. Meaning that you're walking and driving on a what I would call a waterbed. If you looks closely in the video (quality sadly got butchered by whatsapp) you will see that the ground is almost like a wave catching up to me, and that I will sink below water level right before I drive upon the pile. It's pretty scary at times, because if that ground was unknown then I could very easily drive into a bit of land that can't hold my weight and I would just fall through. Hence why I don't wear my seatbelt when driving on Peat soil. Luckily for us the Peat has a very light green color when it's thin and can't carry any weight so, just look out for the very light patches of land and avoid those.

Al though it's fun and interesting, it is also very scary. I couldn't take picture or video because it happened so fast but later when the job was almost done I had to do one last pickup round near the edge of the Peat soil, but I overestimated the strength of the bit of soil I was driving on and soon found myself sinking and with no way out. Luckily the land was able to hold me up for long enough to where a co-worker could come with his tractor and drag me out but it wouldn't have been long until the land would have sank completely from under me and the tractor would have drowned : ^) Luckily the engines are sealed so as long as the air filter stays above the water it's all good which it did. But not by a lot. Returning to the same spot later where the land was completely gone, everything floats back up and is back to normal. You can walk over it again like nothing has ever happened to it, crazy how nature works like that.

Honestly I have no idea. He worked for some fish hatcheries for a while. Then he started working for the same company his wife (she's a genetic engineer) works for. They make vaccines and meds and that kind of thing. I believe he works for Quality Control.

It’s been a couple of years but I got a bachelors in commerce with majors in accounting and business information systems

I plan on doing further uni study, like getting a masters degree :)

I have been working for government for about 18 months now and in such a short time frame I have worked on various projects. I feel very accomplished in my work!

Started out in 2020 in an associates degree in Aviation (pilot) which ended up in a bit of a storm due to COVID and the universities terrible management around the whole of COVID. So this year i've decided to give that a miss for the time being. I've started working as a support technician at a school. Eventually, when I get around to doing it, i'll do the official Microsoft certs and Cisco certs to become specialist in sysadmin work and more advanced networking.

Currently studying Music Performance as a Level 3 (A-Level) grade at college, hoping to do the HND (First year of Uni equivalent) next year, and personally love it. First year of the course was a nightmare because of how bad the COVID situation was but the second year hs been a lot of fun with a few gigs and some studio time so far, been great
