I know this is primarily a male problem but if you're a woman then I would also like to hear your take on the matter, it's important.
We are slightly less capable in financial aspects compared to women IMO. If you are a woman, at least you can create an OnlyFans account if you even got no talent or any profession. Have you ever heard of a man that got 10 million followers for having a smooth ass or a penis? Don't think so.
It's not being a pussy ass who bothers to ask himself or others what it means to be a man, it's about being the man you want to be and being that man. Here's your breath taking reply. Being a man means being able to critically think about what you are doing or are going to do, to be able to solve problems in the field with the tools that you have. Being a man is being serious and able to be a threat, but at the same time being playful and being a kind person. You understand nature, and understand industry and do your best to help out both because you know mankind depends on your actions. You are able to keep quiet and push emotions down when needed, but are also able to open up when you need it the most. You are likeable to those around you, but you are genuine to those who matter to you the most. You can work hard, but enjoy life even harder. You are willing to provide, even if that means suffering for it. You are a man when you dare to take on those moments that make you fearful but continue to push onward, because you have the confidence that your outcome will impact the rest positively. Something something like that Sadly being anything is a corrupted terms these days, but as long as you can relate to the man who walked this earth far before you were born then you are on the right path in my opinion.
Being a man and becoming a man are different things though. As a kid, you're taught that to be a man you need to be strong and a provider. At least that's what my brothers were taught. I know that it's evolving into something different. That mental health issues for men have been on the rise. That they don't have to be strong all the time. We're working on breaking the stigma. They also can be stay at home parents and not the one who brings home a paycheck. So to become a man, the individual needs to define what it means to be one. That's what I was getting at if that makes sense.
being able to accept when you're wrong, and being willing to work to better yourself showing any and all kind of emotion willing to ask for help when you need it etc I despise the idea of a man should be this, or that. I despise toxic masculinity and gender roles in specific.
