I am interested in books with a lot of detail and a lot of pages lmao. My favourite books include the following;

I'm reading 1984 right now.

 

My favorite book series is, "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children". It's about this boy named Jake who visits this island with his father and discovers children with "peculiar" talents in a time loop. For example, there's a boy who can control bees, a girl who can float (So she needs to wear metal shoes), a boy who is invisible forever, and a young girl with another face behind her head. My favorite book in the series is the second book though. You need to read the book to understand things like time loops and where they come from.

 

I personally think that the book is better because it's more detailed. It goes more in depth on how the house looks, time loops, and how the characters feel. Also, in the movie they changed two characters and it really pissed me off. Emma was supposed to have fire powers and Olive was supposed to be blonde and have the floating powers. I think they changed it because they were both blonde but I'm not sure why. The first book is about Jake finding out about them. I don't wanna spoil anything but I feel like the second book is more awesome because they get to use their powers more and they look out for each other while trying to figure out what to do. And the last book is cool I guess. I liked the ending but it wasn't as interesting as the first and second. Overall, I feel like this book series is so unique and you should give it a try if you like character adaption, realistic fantasy, and a unique story that you've never heard of.

 

One of the books I read every week is from radish/wattpad. It's called Silence Breaking and it's the third book from this series. It takes place in the past and it's mainly about this woman who disguises herself as a man to get a job as a secretary. She's a feminist obviously but, it's really entertaining and it's kind of historical fiction although it's more on the romantic side I guess. If you're more interested you can ask me about it.

They're mostly series and they're fantasy/romance. My all time favorite currently is Silence Breaking though. I love books with empowering women in them and a little bit of romance. The only thing that I dislike is how the more the book progresses the more it strays away from the feminism part and more into the romance. It's adventurous though and still okay for me.

If you've never read Jasper Fforde, which I expect most people haven't, wait until you're about 15-16 (type of humour won't suit most people below that) and then try it. There really is no author quite like him. @t3mptr3s you should definitely give it a shot if you're out of material as, being an adult, you'll probably be most likely to get all of the references/understand the humour.
