What is your dream job?

it's obvious I'd want to be a police officer lmao

 

My... dream dream job would to be a police officer.
Sadly, their pay is... uhh... abysmal. I know money doesn't bring happiness.. but I wanna be paid more than 32k/yr, lol.

All that aside, my dream job would probably to be something like a lead Systems Administrator (or Systems Design, Datacenter Design, idk) for some large-ish company. Something where I'm always remoting into systems, fixing things, building servers, ordering server, etc.

 

I'd love to be a Coder or Designer for Video Games.

 

Obviously a Baseball player, but I got some others:

• Wrestling announcer/wrestler *maybe on the wrestler part*
• Fixing computers perhaps
• Actor

 

i want to do something in the medical field like a psychologist, psychiatrist, or a nurse.

 

Journalist, Author, Politician: Someone that can let their voice be heard.

 

Pro Footballer (soccer player)

 

I want to be in the Cyber Security field. That sounds so cool to me and it pays really well.

You're right though - it does pay a good chunk of change.
Unfortunately, for most government or private contractor for the gov't positions... you'd need Top Secret clearance (at least, that's what I've heard about Raytheon, DoD, etc)

Music producer
Owner of some sort of retail shop (possibly jewlery as that's what my current job is in)

Ive had many dream jobs growing up, but here's a few that stuck to me.

My first one was to be an Astronaut, Ever since i was a kid i was really fascinated with Space and Astronomy, and I always wanted to see the Earth from space. I still sort of stand by that dream job, But in reality, Im not physically or mentally capable of completing the tasks an Astronaut does. Being out there in space is Incredibly dangerous.

My 2nd dream job would be a Robotic Engineer, When i grew up, I thought robots were the coolest thing. I mean think about it, Machines that are able to do things a normal human cant, It was like a whole new gateway to the future, and in a sense, I was right. I always wanted to be the person that invents the next Groundbreaking device, But looking at the requirements of what it takes to go into robotic engineering I sort of lost interest. First of all, You have to be an Extreme math whiz in order to understand this type of stuff, and like most of us, I suck at math. Also, There has been growing concerns of Robots gaining Artificial intelligence and being able to Overcome humans, then everything would be Similar to Portal, or the Terminator series.

 

What I have in mind right now, and who knows whether or not it's going to change in the future... But either a computer programmer or software developer. It's also what my parents want me to become, so I'm taking classes for it.

 

First off... Just wanna say that you should do what YOU wanna do and have fun. Don't let your parents have an influence over you.

That said... Honestly, you're set if you go to study Computer Science in college. For women going into the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields, especially technology, there are TONS of scholarships available.
