    it's just weird that in the Netherlands, you called it "Hagelslag", I thought both Indonesian and Dutch called it "Meisjes"

    We had difficulties to pronounce "Hagelslag", and we know that the one who likes it are mostly meisjes/little girls, so.. for some reason we call this thing "meisjes" too, and it stuck like that until now
    I'm just saying what I found in wikipedia

    Some parts in Asia (for example, Korea); When a baby is born they are 1 years old and then on New Years Day, You are 1 year older. So you don't age on your birthday and even some people are 1-2 years older.

    Who even came up with the idea to put "chocolate sprinkles" on a piece of bread like in the early morning. Dutchies are strange people really. I'm definitely not one of them. :rolleyes:
