New survival release date: 21st of June 2017 Our goal with this survival reset has always been to bring back life into the survival server, restore it to its former glory. The only way we see that happening is if the world is completely fresh, having everyone completely start over. We want to give everyone an equal opportunity to start from the ground up and create an amazing Faction with amazing builds. This can not be achieved if we allow people to keep their old items/builds, which would merely result in adding new terrain to build on, but the overall progression of the survival economy remains the same. We understand that people have worked very hard on their creations over the past couple of years since the previous survival reset, and it would be a shame if these builds were lost completely. Additionally, many players purchased mob spawners, extra faction power, etc. The plan Our plan is to release a completely new world, which will become "the" new survival. The old world will remain accessible so that your hard work will not be lost. However, the last thing we want is to split up the survival community across two worlds, and having an even smaller playerbase on each server. To counter this, we will be introducing new rules to the old survival in order to make it less appealing for players to play on the old survival world. In our view, the old world should be used for nostalgic reasons, a look back at the past. The new survival world should be the place to be. However, we won't stop players who refuse to play on anything but the old world from doing so. These are some of the things we plan on doing: The old survival world will only be accessible through a command /old, in other words the old survival world will not be publicly available through the Minigame Selector or Lobby. Automatic disband from player inactivity will be disabled so that old structures will remain protected. (Canceled) Only players that played on the old survival world before the reset will be able to access the old world. This will prevent new players from going to the old world instead of the new world. (Canceled) It will no longer be possible to create new Factions in the old world. Only Factions existing at the time of the reset will remain. Details about what's changed in the new world will be posted on the day of the release.
