Trump vs Obama

Trump was elected nearly one year ago as President of The United States. Obviously he has had quite a lot of critics and hate against him, however Obama did too. I am curious would you rather have Obama as president right now or Trump? Please vote in the poll and feel free to discuss your opinion if you would like.

In this scenario its really just a case of better person/bad president vs better president/rougher person
I choose bad person/better president.

Obama as a person is charismatic and in touch with today’s society. Id really like to meet him solely due to his good nature and good spirit. Trump however is a bit out of touch with society and could use his social media not to slander people he disagrees with constantly. Id still like to meet him though because he & I share a lot of beliefs. Hes not a bad person per se- just moreso an out of touch with society with rougher edges type of guy.

The answer for me is very simple, Obama. He shared a lot of the same beliefs as me and he did a lot of great things.

Trump, is Ehh, a different story for me, I wish he would use his Twitter in a better way instead of... This. I think that would already help a lot. But even if he would, I don't share the same beliefs as him, we're almost the opposite.

Let's just say I'm happy that I live in a country where I can agree with almost all the laws instead of America. (:

Pruitt said that only because he thinks it's helpful for the body to breathe in the irritants to learn how to fight them. He does not think children should sit atop factories and inhale pollutants. I don't agree with his statements though.

What makes it worse is that he is denying that CO2 is the lead contributor in global warming. He is saying things that people who want to lower regulations on pollution say.

While I don't agree with Trump, how did he destroy Atlantic City single handedly? There were already Casinos before his, its like the Las Vegas of the east coast.

 

I feel embarrassed that Trump is the president of America. People laugh at us because of what he does and it's truly saddening. It's like history hasn't changed at all. Just like the past, our president is a rich white man who favors the rich, our government is ran mostly by white men in suits, and he's making laws that are oppressing a certain type of group people. This man doesn't know how to act professional. He goes on twitter 24/7 to rant and throw shade at people because he can't contain himself. He lied about his wall and about not getting us in a war that is clearly about to happen. The only reason why he won was because he was born with a silver spoon and all he cared about was winning. I don't need to respect this pig. So, I pick Obama. He wasn't perfect all the time but he brought our nation together and pushed us forward instead of backwards.

 

I know but that still doesn't explain how he himself destroyed it by going bankrupt.

First:
He opened a ton of casinos/resorts-> created tons of jobs. He went bankrupt->many casinos/resorts closed-> tons of people lost their jobs.
Also, some of the ones that were sold for losses were run down.

Second:
He borrowed tons of money at high interest rates and thus, accumulated a lot of debt when his companies didn't make enough to repay investors. Later on, he took the companies public, which in turn creates investment and risk put on stockholders. He basically pushed risk from himself while making money for himself.

Okay he didn't open that many resorts/casinos, as far as I know only 3. One of which is still open, and another only closed last year. Now he did really screw over his investors who lost over 1 billion dollars but they were not located in Atlantic City. I could be wrong but I just don't see how he destroyed the entire city by going bankrupt.

Just so you know so far Trump has taken three times the amount of vacations Obama did at the same stage of his presidency. So saying Obama never spent time helping the United States is just factually wrong.

 

Well I dont like the fact that Trump only thinks about the white people in America, he calls the not white people "Those people", basiclly he says those people are behind everything bad. I hate racism and Trump is racist. Obama wasn't perfect but he put the society of America together as one. Not seperate them. And most of the not white people voted for Hillary. That explains alot why they are not happy that Trump is their president. Trump is just a huge mess and a joke. I still think that the citizen of America made a huge mistake. I dont say that Hillary is much better then Trump, because of her leaked e-Mails. Lets just hope that the next president of America doesn't make a huge mess and pushes the country in a way that we can all agree on.

 

Then explain the non white people who support him. Explain why I support him, I'm not white. Trump isn't a racist, and does not have a white supremacist narrative that he is pushing into the country. He may not be great at public speaking, and he has a ton of flaws, but he isn't a racist.
