Toxicity Awareness

Hello today I'm gonna tell you about Toxicity and how to stop it.
Please follow these terms and the server will be great again.

What is toxicity?
Toxicity is a way of swearing and ruining a persons day. Note: Just saying the word "L" can ruin someone's whole day. Toxicity is like a "Infection" if you ruin someone's day and give them a bad mood they mostly do the same thing along with you.

How do we stop it?
Its pretty easy by following these steps!

Step 1:
The first thing you mostly do is Ignore it. Ignoring is easy by turning /all off or Your chat in general.
What I mostly do is go to another minigame or just type /hub and stay there for some minutes and cool off.
Its just a way to not give them what they want (a reaction from you so they can laugh). Which is attention.

Step 2:
The second phase is mostly based of harassment, People started harassing you and the best way to deal with that is report them and start ignoring (or giggling in the background until it happens. If you do this then you need to stop talking to him, I won't recommend you checking on him harassing other people since it can make you sad etc)

Step 3:
You can report them by doing /report
Or on the forums.
If you don't do it you just feed it grow bigger.

If you follow these terms the server will be as normal.

You give each other a good mood. Make friends no matter what.
I remember back in the day when people used to be nice to each other and helped each other.

I really miss those days.

Just don't be a meanie.
Typing a single word called "L" Can ruin a whole person's mood.

Also another EDIT about people not getting that L is annoying:
If you play a game and someone just keeps telling you to f off and gives you the L by waiting until you die, isn't it annoying and in my opinion it pissess me off quite fast.

 

Preach it man, this network has way to many toxic players at the moment, and like you say it just infects onto others.

This is incredibly important to point out, and unfortunately I can't see a fix except making the rules stricter.

 

I like how the thread is written out like an instruction manual. Really well done! I really think a lot of people need to take this thread into consideration, when they go around and are toxic to other players, who are just trying to enjoy the game.

 

I don't really like how people call it toxicity because I don't think that's the right word for it. I mean, it's really just bad behavior. And if someone saying "L" to you on the internet really hurts you that much, you honestly need to toughen up or get off the internet. Them doing that is immature, and like you said, giving it a reaction is only stooping lower. This server is mostly filled with younger kids and they suck at controlling themselves. That's why there's staff members, to deal with things if they get too out of hand.

 

Toxicity sounds more "intimidating" SO people can think about it more since 'bad behavior' just sounds like their mom telling them to not be like that, Toxicity is more directly to a player and can make someone think more before they say something.

As much as I want to back this thread, toxicity, same with bullying, probably won't ever be fixed. As a staff member, I have to deal with toxic players everyday, so I can understand how you feel. I'm behind the message and all, but in my opinion it's something that can't be fixed.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but that's just my opinion, I need to admit, the whole "LLL TAKE THAT FAT LLL NOOB EZ" thing is pretty f*ckin' annoying though.

Its away to not spread it, Of course people will go on but YOU won't become one of them.

 

You can try and not spread it, unfortunately it's not going to work on everyone, and it'll always be a problem on this server, that's a main factor on the server's decline, so it sucks, as for now however, it's not a preventable problem.

 

Yep, I think its because of the new generation of people that join this server.
