Tips for falling asleep

    What are your guy's methods for getting a good night's sleep?

    I usually listen to some good ol' ASMR when I'm ready to fall asleep, but lately I've been building up an immunity to it so that kinda sucks lol

    Do a couple of REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE's to make yourself tired.

    The main problem I have is that I get too warm in bed so a nice cold sleeping spot is very nice.

    Go to bed, start daydreaming and then you'll sleep.

    It may sound weird, but stretching my muscles actually helps me to relax and with listening to music there's a good chance of me falling asleep.

    Just lay in bed and do things before you actually want to sleep, before you know it your mind is getting into the ''sleep'' mood and boombam you're asleep.

    do things on your computer until your eyes get tired as fuck, and then just lay on your bed and close your eyes until you fall asleep
    relaxing music helps sometimes

    actually you shouldn't look at bright monitors before going to bed because the light disturbs the sleep hormones

    Try staying up until your body says "Yeah I'm done."
    It'll mess up your sleep schedule but it works.

    I've had sleeping problems for a while now. Some things that work for me:

    1. Try thinking of the sun or a light. When you breathe in, the light increases, when you breathe out, the light decreases.
    2. Always get off your computer 1 hour before you go to bed. That already helps a ton.
    3. Try to think about the future, as in future plans and stuff. Set your mind off things for a bit and think about more relaxing or happier things, these aren't as stressful so it should help a lot.
    4. Good ol' ASMR can also help but, since it doesn't work for you anymore, try rain or piano music. Something like that (ofc volume not too loud).
    5. Or read a book, a paper one. Always helps me out.

    I never go to sleep until like.5 am. I CANT EVER SLEEP EVEN WITH ANY METHOD I WANNA DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    Read a book under dim light.
    Distract yourself from thinking about falling asleep (What are you going to do tomorrow? Is there anything upcoming that you are looking foward to?)

    Usually sleeping on your right side would work, but I guess it's personal preference and during the winter (which it is now) I tend to get a stuffy nose.

    Aromatherapy. I already use lotion a lot so before bed, I'll shower and slather on some sleepy time lotion. Works for me but might not work for others.
    From Bath & Body Works. Works gr8 for me. Black Chamomile is a great relaxation,"put you in the sleep mood" type smell.

    Sounds weird but as a swimmer if you dont use goggles your eyes will burn and go blurry from the chlorine, but im not kidding when I say thats the quickest way to fall asleep
