The World of Minecraft. (Johnora's Minecraft lore)

Hey there, Welcome to one of my Biggest and most diverse creations ive ever made, a whole Minecraft lore.

There have been many different ways of portraying Minecraft, whether it was about How the game was made or by a Fictional story created by a Person who plays the game. This one i created explains What Minecraft is and how it works, It has elements of fantasy and other things, with Informative elements and Scientific explanations to make it more believable. One of my biggest Inspirations for this Story/Lore Was many different films, But mostly Steven Spielberg's film Jurassic Park. I wanted to make this story feel like you weren't just reading it, but you were stepping into a new world. Some of you that have talked to me may have heard me explaining most of this, but now, I can post the first part of it! Enjoy everyone!

The World of Minecraft-Part 1


The world of Minecraft

The world of Minecraft could actually be considered an Earth-like Planet. Even though it is mostly made of the same materials that make up our Earth, Minecraft is actually colossal in size. It is roughly about the size of Neptune, which is about 5 times the size of planet earth. This planet resides near the Chi Sagittarii star group in the Constellation of Sagittarius. Orbiting a Star that is similar to the Sun. Not only that, but it has a Similar moon orbiting it that actually has different markings then the earth does. The Oxygen-rich planet has Double the Oxygen as the planet Earth does in the Sol system thousands of light years away.


The story behind the world of Minecraft

In the Beginning, Notch was an Archangel that served God, he was Loyal and trustworthy to god. And he was one of the Leaders of the Angels. When the world of Minecraft was first formed, God told Notch that he had a gift for him. he was presented with a brand new world to call his, Notch thanked him, and got together his band of Angels to help him make life flourish on Minecraft. His group consisted of the leader Notch the leader, Jeb the second in command, Dinnerbone, Lydia, Marc and Herobrine, Notch’s Brother. Throughout millions of years, they created life that could exist, but on a much smaller scale than God could. This period was known as the Alpha Era. Sea life was common in the first few thousand years, Fishes, sea dinosaurs and even the Legendary sea guardians existed at the time. A few thousand years later, Notch evolved his creations into the early stages of the dinosaurs. Notch and his fellow men catered to these dinosaurs and provided them with Vegetation and plants to feed them. Some dinosaurs became carnivorous and hunted other smaller life that existed. It was this way for over millions of years, Notch kept creating More and more Dinosaurs to roam Minecraft. To the point that they were the Dominant species on his world.



But then one day, something happened that changed the course of Minecraft forever, Herobrine, Notch’s brother, began to feel that Notch was treating him unfairly, as he felt that he was being demoted to less than a servant of Notch. He began to feel influenced that He was too corrupt with his newfound powers, only using his powers to cater to himself. He then decided he should have been the chosen one to call this planet his. So Herobrine and Notch battled for thousands of years, and in the process, wiped out all the dinosaurs. In the end, Notch finally killed His brother. He was devastated that he had destroyed all of his life that he created. Notch fell into a hiatus, and For hundreds of years, no life crawled upon the world of Minecraft. It was then Notch began to get back on his feet, with the help of his fellow angels. Jeb and Dinnerbone decided to set to work for notch on creating the next life to roam on there world, The Minecraftian. They first created a primitive version of who will become steve in the next several years., When the process was complete, Jeb then created a counterpart to The first Minecraftian, Which was a primitive female who would soon become named Alex. They all started off as Big-nosed Large headed beings that all lived in small settlements, but over time, they evolved and became who they are now. Over the next hundred years, the Minecraftians began to evolve and become more prominent in the world, Not only them, but more life began to flourish as well. Such as Pigs, Cows horses and other life. The first Minecraftians became the rulers of a large amount of Land.

There was Steve, The King of his land, a Man who was skilled in the ways of surviving in the wilderness. He was a tough as nails person who fought when he had to. And then there was Alex, the lovely lady and wife to steve. She was a benevolent and motherly figure and was eager to help anyone in need. Not only that, she was also a strong female leader and was skilled in archery and many other types of combat.

Over the years, Many other Minecraftians established Settlements and towns across the vast lands of Minecraft. As the years progressed, the Invention of Redstone and other circuitry changed the way of Minecraftian life. The world of Minecraft became more modern with new inventions being created all the time. Supersonic transports were created to travel to different cities and towns. And the Minecraftians prospered like never before.


But legend says that one day, a Great evil will be unleashed upon the world that could bring the end of times as we know it, and the great archangel Notch will return one day to set things right again and bring everlasting peace to the world of Minecraft.


Now that ive explained the Origins of where the Minecraftians came from, Let’s discuss how the World of Minecraft works.


Starting with the wildlife that inhabits it.


Pigs, Cows, Sheep, Bunnies and other life

They are the most common of Wildlife and are seen mostly in warm places such as the great plains and the Forests of Minecraft. They mostly feast on vegetation that grows either near farms made by Minecraftians, or the vegetation that is provided by the vast amount of trees and plants. Some animals however also feed on other living creatures, such as smaller bunnies and livestock. Wildcats, Bears and other animals would fall into this category


Villagers

Villagers are a sub-species of Human, they are just as intelligent to speak and carry off different tasks as a Minecraftian can, but there quirkiness and way of handling things makes them genuinely funny people to be around. They also are masters at currencies and using functioning trade systems. They are usually people who run shops and banks in the big towns and cities, but in some places they are treated as lower class citizens. There have been movements to free villagers from hateful and abusive people, and many of them have succeeded. However there is still plenty people need to do to free them entirely.


Mooshrooms

Mooshrooms are incredibly rare creatures that exist in the Mushroom islands off the Minecraftian coasts, they live in a land where Giant mushrooms plague the land, feeding on any other plants and vegetation, it explains why no other plants live there. Mooshrooms are actually reanimated Cows that have been taken over by Fungus. They roam the worlds aimlessly and eat the smaller mushrooms for nourishment. They also are able to reproduce. The Mushroom isles are a very popular tourist attraction in Minecraft, but they are also a very dangerous place, some of the mushrooms secrete a hallucinogen mostly used in illegal potions. So people usually make precautions when exploring the islands. Mycelium is also gathered there a lot as it does wonders for farming.


Squids

Squids are a common species of animals in the Minecraftian oceans. They swim in packs and usually feed on smaller fish. These squids are mostly common in shallow waters and are plentiful in the reefs of the ocean. They are mostly hunted for their ink sacs which are used to make pens and book and quills.


Ocelots

Ocelots, and there other species like cheetahs jaguars and other wildcats exists in the vast jungles of Minecraft. They are very skittish creatures and run away from anything that would try and attack them. Taming a Wildcat like this takes a lot of training and is rarely done. But usually feeding them a fish or two would usually get there attention.


There more common relatives, cats are usually owned by Minecraftians in suburbs and towns. They usually are adopted at pet stores and other places.


Wolves

Wolves are a canine species that live in the cold parts of Minecraft. They don’t attack people unless they are provoked, they are also great hunters as they also feed on other life that roams there territory, like sheep.

People usually can tame them as with a regular dogs. They usually act as great companions to their owners.

Now, when there are regular animals, there are also great dangers to be wary of in the world of Minecraft.

Skeletons and Zombies

These undead monsters are brought upon the earth by the Corruption of Herobrine. They emerge from graveyards that have been cursed by his evil followers. Zombies aren’t Really intelligent due to a lack of brain, but Skeletons are able to Pull off strategic combat, such as firing from a distance and strafing.

Skeletons and Zombies are Plentiful in the Night and adventurers and travellers tend to be Wary of them. If you are bitten by a Zombie, you have a chance of becoming one of them. People have lost others to that and that’s why people are developing cures to stop them.

Spiders

Spiders (Or for the scientific name Araneae gigantius) are a species of Giant arthropods that are a Rather large size (About double the size of a full-grown wolf) due to the Amount of Oxygen in the atmosphere. They reside in deep caves and often prey on anyone who tries to enter them. Spiders are also nocturnal, they only come out of there caves when it’s night time, that’s during their hunting hours.

Spiders are not very intelligent, but they do know basic things such as hunting, caring for their young and protecting themselves from other threats.

Spiders Like to prey on Wolves, Deer, Bears, Smaller insects and Especially Minecraftians. All these are things they hunt for nutrition.

The smaller variant of them would be the Cave spiders, or simply the Adult spider’s offspring. They live in many open crevices and Abandoned mines, these are more dangerous as they are extremely venomous.

Dealing with a Spider can be very risky. Of course they can be killed easily by any melee weapons, but they can also inject you with poison. So adventurers make sure to pack a few extra healing potions in case one attacks.

Creepers

Creepers (Or for Scientific name, Plantae Explodius) are a rare and elusive species that can only be found in the thick Jungles. They have lived ever since the Alpha era when the Dinosaurs roamed the planet, but were More Plentiful. They are sentient plants that are able to move by their own free will. Their legs are like a Dinosaur, 2 legs at the front and 2 back legs. It also has a Hunched over back and a stubby tail. They also have Small eyes and a large mouth that what people explain to look like a frown.

Creepers are very shy creatures, they tend to run away from anything that would try and provoke them. Wildcats fall in this category, they run from those mostly. There Exploding feature is a defense mechanism and only is triggered as a last resort. Other than Exploding, they also fight by Hissing and kicking with their legs.

Some minecraftians often dismiss Creepers as myths and legend told by primitive tribes in the Jungle, But some travellers have encountered these creatures and some even captured them for the world to see.

If you end up provoking a creeper, Chances are you might have to run away instead of attacking, because once they start hissing and shaking, they will explode. And the Explosion radius can be rather big. In a nutshell, proceed with caution if you are going up against a creeper.

Silverfish

Silverfish are also large arthropods about the size of a Small cat. They usually crawl around in crevices and openings inside of rock. They feed on smaller insects and even small animals. They are mostly common in the caves in mountains and even the Ancient strongholds left by the First civilizations.

Fighting silverfish isn’t that hard, But the way that they attack is they swarm there target and bite them in different places. It is best if you outrun a swarm of silverfish and attack them individually. They are rather weak and can be defeated easily by a sword strike.

To sum it up, fighting Silverfish isn’t hard, but you have to be careful around a group of them so you don’t get swarmed.

Slimes

Slimes are sentient viscous gelatin-like monsters that are common in the Murky swamps and deep caves of Minecraft. Minecraftians have debated for years on what slimes are made of, well the answer is quite simple, Slimes are made of Tree sap that comes from both cracks in rocks, and from inside logs. Slimes are capable of breaking into smaller version of themselves in order to gang up on prey and eat them. They are able to break down food inside themselves with a special acidic chemical that turns food into nutrients to help them survive. They also reproduce asexually, like plants do.

Fighting slimes is actually very tricky; they can easily overpower you if you aren’t careful. Your swords can get stuck inside of them and they could also trap you by secreting there body mass to keep your feet from moving. That’s how some minecraftians have met their fate.

The best way to fight them is from ranged combat, like Crossbows and such. That way they can’t attack you head on.

Enderman

The Enderman are a living enigma, nobody knows much about them due to how rare they are. endermen have been subject of many legends and stories, but some evidence have confirmed endermen do indeed walk the planet. People have made claims that endermens are a sign of bad omens, as if a person were to encounter one, something dangerous may follow.

Some believe they are monsters brought on by Herobrine, but some also believe they are extraterrestrial beings. Maybe they are both, but the world may never know..

Aside from a mysterious origin, People do know of endermen’s odd behavior. They have fascinations with the world that we live in, and tend to grab wads of grass or sand and carry it around with them. They also have shown a rather large amount of intelligence, almost semi-sapient. They are able to make moral decisions and work with other endermen. They also seem to have a diverse way of communicating with each other as they are seen making warped and backwards speech to each other.

People also know that they can be incredibly hostile. If provoked, Endermen will go into some sort of Angered state and charge after the victim. They are known to be violent to their targets, such as ripping off extremities and even tearing off flesh with their sharp teeth. It has been stated that it should be common sense not to provoke endermen or even look at them.

Fighting an enderman is pretty tough, you would need some pretty powerful armor to go up against them. You would just be better off running away from them because if they look at you, it may already be too late.

Endermite

Endermite’s are parasitic insects that feed on Anything living, they infect the host with a special chemical that makes them decompose from the inside. Once there prey is dead, they feed on it until there’s nothing left, after they feast, they then lay eggs for more endermites to spawn. Endermen consider endermites as pests and will not stop at nothing until they are killed. That’s why whenever they see one, they attack it.

Fighting endermites is just as easy as fighting a silverfish, just don’t let them swarm you or spit there ender chemicals at you and you can overpower them easily.


Guardians and Elder guardians

The Legendary guardians are a colony of sea creatures living in the deepest depths of the ocean; they have lived ever since the early days of the Minecraftians. Rumor has it that they were assigned to protect an artifact that is so Power it can make whoever gets their hands on it as powerful as Notch himself, but some people dismiss them is mere stories.

Guardians are also pretty aggressive creatures. They swim in pods and attack anyone that gets near there temple. They are capable of firing a concentrated laser beam through their eye, causing there target to either become paralyzed, or in worse cases die. They also have a Defense mechanism where Orange spikes protrude out of there bodies.

Elder guardians however are a whole different story. They are the commanders of the Guardians, and they are way more powerful than there young counterparts. There Laser beam is much more deadly and there Spikes are razor sharp. Not only they are powerful, they are intelligent as well. Almost Psychic level, they are able to enter a Minecraftians mind and weaken them from there. They are also capable of planned combat strategy and communication.

Dealing with Rogue guardians on the prowl in the ocean is pretty risky, one is that they are faster underwater than a Minecraftian is, plus they can outsmart you. But if you do manage to beat one, they are said to bring horrible curses upon there killers. So it’s best to avoid them rather than fight.

I can't help but really appreciate this, It's really pretty in-depth for a game normally with almost no lore at all. And the Creepersaurus is a pretty good drawing

I read over this and i forgot to add some other things that would need Explaining, Here they are!

Witches

Witches are like the Anti-Villager, More sinister and intelligent than there goofy counterpart. These witches live in solitude rather than in big villages, they mostly settle in the Murky swamps of Minecraft. They are no fan of Minecraftians and will attack if one ever comes near, There way of attacking is very different from others, they throw Harmful Concoctions that are able to either poison you, give you fatigue so you cant run, Or flat out Kill you. They can also like the Guardians outsmart you in attacks. by dodging and other tactics.

The best way to Kill a witch Is by avoiding there Potion attacks and other Spells they try to attack you with. You can either figure out the best way to kill them or by just attacking with brute force.

And Last but not least....


Herobrine
Herobrine, him, the one, The Destroyer of Worlds. The Harbinger of the End of days. Herobrine is the Fallen angel that was once Notch's Blood brother. When they fought and ended the Age of the Dinosaurs, Herobrine's Physical body was destroyed, But as the Minecraftians came to be, Many documents have been written of the sightings of him throughout History, One however became well known by the People of Minecraft, a Person claimed he witnessed Herobrine outside in the woods when he was Chopping logs. He then began to have nightmares and visions of him. The next day, he went to a Cleric and Told of his experience. and they couldn't believe what they were hearing. Years later, the Churches of Notch began getting more people coming and telling them what they have seen, and to this day, people still claim they have seen him.

Although most people Simply debunk the different sightings of him, like if it's young kids pulling a Prank, or People who have made fake evidence of him, Herobrine is someone you do NOT want to see. He brings with him the very essence of the Devil himself. No one should EVER have the misfortune to encounter his several forms.

His main form is a Ghostly version of the First minecraftian, Steve. He is able to Simply float around to move. If you were to encounter this form, What would happen to you would be quite unsettling, First it would seem as if time came to a halt, and then you would collapse to the ground under the pressure of the darkness that radiates off of him. when he disappears, the Person will then have many religious visions and Nightmares of there encounter.

His second form is a Spiritual manifestation that would stalk you in your dreams, He is like a Night terror. He would paralyze you to where you couldn't wake up. and then the Darkness that comes from him would slowly eat at your soul until it was nothing. this form is much more hostile.

His third and most Dreadful form yet is a Demonic version of his first form, This form you will most Likely encounter in the Nether itself, If you come across Herobrine this way (Which hopefully you wont) He will most likely Kill you before the Very essence of darkness kills you first.

Herobrine is Bad news, Extremely dangerous. Pray to God your soul never comes across him.

So i drew up a better version of a Realistic creeper, to give it that Dinosaur-esque look. :) enjoy!

Iron golems

Iron golems are ancient Robotic beings that have protected the villagers for thousands of years. As there name states, they are made entirely of Iron. These beings were created long ago by the early minecraftians. They were mostly used for Guarding castles, Heavy lifting, and many other tasks that even minecraftians couldn’t handle. When it comes to brute strength, Iron golems definitely are the ones to rely upon; they are able to pulverize any hostile creatures with a 200 PSI punch. They can plow through several attackers with ease and can take many hits due to its tough exterior. For what it has in Brawn it does lack in brains, Iron golems are known to be dim witted and easily manipulated. But newer golems were able to develop semi-sapient intelligence, such as figuring out weaknesses in opponents through several clashes with monsters.

Even though the Iron golems are tough machines in battle, they also are known to have a soft side as well, such as when they give flowers to Young villagers and Minecraftians, to show there friendly relationship with people.

It's time for an update! Now that ive covered the Wildlife that lives on the World of Minecraft, Now lets start on the Different Biomes and other terrain that the wildlife calls home.

Plains

The great plains of minecraft, teeming with flowers, grass and other plants. They are homes to many different villages and settlements to both the villagers, and the Minecraftians. They also can contain small shrubs and occasionally a tree or two. They are home to many wildlife, Horses run freely across the grassy fields, It is also a perfect place for villages and neighborhoods to be built. They are also hospitable lands for Vegetation and other farm crops to grow.

Forests

The Forests are Sprawling valleys full of Different Trees, From the Robust oak trees, to the Lightly colored Birch trees. Many animals live here, Including Birds, Deer and many other woodland creatures. The Largest Forest to exist on the planet is known as the Great Phoenix forest. It stretches for hundreds of Miles. Many stories and myths have come from this place. Including the stories of the Phoenix, this is how the forest got its name.

There are many different types of Forests, such as the Extravagent flower forests, where many different types of Flora and fauna thrive, and is home to a variety of animals.

Another are the Birch forests, where Birch trees are more common here. These places are home to Birds and tree animals such as squirrels.

Roofed Forests

The Ominous wood forests are a subject for many scary stories including the tales of the Endermen’s first sightings. In reality, they are a Mysterious place filled with many dark colored oak trees. They are also home to many Fungus plants too, as sometimes Giant mushrooms grow there. The creatures that inhabit this land include Wildcats, Bears tree animals and many more.



Desert


The Searing hot deserts of Minecraft are hostile places indeed, what with very scarce water sources and such. But they are also a Place of Exploration. Desert Villages are sometimes found, or even better a Desert pyramid created by Ancient minecraftians. But a traveller have to be wary of exploring through the deserts, as it can be very misleading and is easy to get lost. Plus you have to worry about the Wildlife that lives there, such as Silverfish and other insects.


Mesa

The Mesas are just as hot as the deserts, where temperatures can reach up to the 115 Fahrenheit during midday. Trees aren’t very common here either, but what is Common is several hundred acres of Stained clay hills displaying many colors. They also show Marks of the past from each layer, this is also where Dinosaur fossils are found the most.


Ice plains

And now on the polar opposite we have the Freezing tundra located in and around the edges of the Arctic circle. Where temperatures can get down to the minus 30 degree mark. Trees and wildlife are pretty scarce here, so it isn’t very wise to live here. The only wildlife that does happen to live here, are things like Polar bears, Wolves, and even the ancient snow golems. If you plan on travelling to a place like this, make sure you come prepared with extra coats and survival equipment.


Ice Spikes

The Ice Spikes are vast snowy lands located in the Arctic circle with several Thick ice spires rising from the ground, some larger than others. These lands have baffled the people of Minecraft for hundreds of years,no one really knows how this natural phenomenon works. Some say it might occur when the ground beneath them has hot air due to the Lava flow of the planet, and it causes the water in the air to expand and then freeze due to the low temperatures, causing the jagged spike formation.

Ice spike biomes are considered a natural beauty and are preserved across the world so that Miners and adventurers can’t take anything from them. The Ice peak International Park is one of these and is considered the largest of all the ice spike biomes. They truly are a sight to behold.


Taiga

The taiga forests are large lands filled with Tall pine and spruce trees that stretch for miles. They are most common mountains and hillsides.

The taiga forests are home to animals such as the Wolves, Rabbits, tree animals and larger birds.

When travelling, Taiga forests are easy to get lost in, so make sure to pack a lot of safety equipment and extra pairs of clothing because it can get Cold there at night.


Extreme hills/Mountains

The Mountains are a stunning place to be, there are many things to be seen here Such as lakes, monstrous caves and plenty of wildlife. Mountain sheep and goats are common here and so is a lot of predatory birds such as Condors. The Extreme hills are also home to another legendary creature known as the Red Dragon. Some say it is the last of its kind and could be hiding anywhere in them.

Inside the caves in the mountains, are places Rich with Ore and other materials that are crucial for Minecraftians, such as Emeralds, the currency for the Villagers.

If you are going to be going to the Extreme hills/Mountains, make sure to pack a lot of hiking equipment and also bring a map with you as it’s easy to get lost.

Mushroom Biomes

The Mushroom Isles are a strange place indeed, where it isn’t grass that grows, but Mycelium and giant fungus. But it wasn’t always like this. When the Dinosaurs roamed the planet of Minecraft, these lands were fertile with Plenty of wildlife and other types of Plants that are now extinct. But as the Dinosaurs gradually died off due to the Clash between Notch and Herobrine, The land began to slowly die. Fungus began growing at an alarming rate, and many of the dead wildlife were also taken over by this unknown phenomenon. The mushrooms grew to a rather large size due to the Amount of Oxygen in the Air, and stayed like this to the Present time.

The mushroom Isles are now considered a popular tourist attraction throughout the world of Minecraft, many people take trips on ships there to view the Astounding Fungal Growths all over the land.

It is beautiful to look at, however it isn’t very safe to set foot on. The Giant fungus that plagues the land is known to have Hallucinogenic properties and if eaten or touched, Can cause severe reactions to a minecraftian. The mooshrooms are also known to be aggressive if being hunted will attack with Brute force.

So it is best to admire these bizarre forces of nature from afar, and not up close and personal.

One is a new Biome i havent covered yet, and im also going to be covering the most Frightening place of all, the Nether. Where i also introduce a few Original mobs to make it sound more interesting.

Last of the Biomes,

Ocean

There are several lakes and rivers that are located on the world of Minecraft, But there are known to be 2 Large bodies of Water, both are considered Oceans.

The 1st and largest one is known as the Great Atlantean Ocean, Where the Famous city of Atlantis is said to exist. It is home to several undersea creatures, such as many different types of Fish, Squids, Crabs, and Even the legendary sea guardians. There also are rumors of Sea creatures much larger and any other that have been recorded in history, Such as the Kraken of Ancient Minecraftian folklore. The Ocean is said to cover half of the Planet, but a majority of it hasn’t been explored yet, so whatever resides out there in the unknown depths will always be a mystery.

The 2nd ocean is known as the Tropical Ocean, Home to many exotic creatures near the equator of the planet, It is known to be a very popular vacation spot/Tourist attraction like the Mushroom Isles. There, people can Deep sea dive, Go fishing, Explore all the islands and view a lot of exotic creatures such as Birds. It is a very beautiful place.

The Nether

Now, The world of Minecraft is an Rather awe inspiring place, But it does have its elements of creepiness. Although Minecraft can be an unpredictable, Bizarre and sometimes frightening place, the Nether dimension however, is a Living NIGHTMARE.

The Nether is located in some Unknown Dimension, but some speculate that it lies in the Very catacombs of Hell itself. The nether itself is very unnatural in appearance, as the laws of Physics do not apply here. Large cliffsides and other unnatural rock formations are present here. The temperatures here can sometimes reach up to 2000 degrees Fahrenhiet, Enough to melt Lead. Not only is it hot, but it is also Very very dark. The only known light sources are Glowstone, Fire and Lava lakes. The ground there is made of Different Unnatural materials.

Netherrack, the material that makes up a majority of the Dimension, takes on a Bloody Cobblestone look, but it is not actually a Solid rock. Netherrack is actually Organic, The inside of Netherrack consists of Viscous Organs that beat slowly, the Outside of it is the only Solid material that is built to protect the inside of it. When stepped on, it secretes a Blood-like liquid. Very disgusting indeed.

Soul sand, which is the coined term for the Pit of human souls that have been cramped together into a tight spot where they have little room to move to the point where over time, they decompose into a slimy mud-like compound.

If you were to walk over a pit of Soul sand, it would seem like it would try and absorb your body to the point where you couldn’t get out, not only that, but the remaining human souls would latch onto to you in an attempt to escape and pull you down to your doom.


Nether Quartz is a Shiny white type of Rock that is lodged inside of Netherrack due to it producing a Crystalline-type fluid that hardens over a prolonged time. Nether quartz is considered Valuable in the world of Minecraft and Minecraftians have made Daring journeys into the nether to retrieve this precious mineral. It is sometimes featured in Museums for people to have a glimpse of an Otherworldly Rock formation.

Glowstone, The coined term for Luminescent crystals that hang from the Nether’s ceiling, are Considered a Valuable mineral in the world of Minecraft, And like Nether quartz, are highly sought after. But it is Extremely difficult to get as it is literally hundreds of feet off the ground. They are the Nether’s only light source besides lava and Fire.

Even though the Landscape of the Nether is very Grotesque and disgusting in appearance, that isn’t as Horrifying as the creatures that plague this dimension.

Zombie Pigman

These Wretched Humanoid-animal Hybrids are not undead pigs, but rather the Wandering souls of Minecraftians themselves. Cursed to be what they have slaughtered in the Overworld, while they are feasted on by Disgusting Nether parasites. They are also known to be unbelievably aggressive when provoked, and will attack you with Brute force. It’s best to stay away from these things. As sad as it is, it’s even sadder that there’s nothing you can do about them.


Ghasts

Ghasts are Large undead creatures doomed to roam around the Nether for eternity. If you were to stand in a part of the Nether, You would hear there eerie cries from miles away. Although they look Cute in appearance, they are known to be hostile. If they catch sight of a Living creature, they will emit bloodcurdling screeches and attack you with Fire projectiles and in rare cases, red hot needles.

Ghasts are large, Powerful and you do NOT want to mess with them. You would even feel sorry for them as when neutral, they spend most of their time silently whimpering. As there expressions are very somber in appearance, Poor things.


Blazes.


Blazes are Fiery Ill-tempered creatures composed mostly of burning ember. They are the most hostile creatures out of them all. They attack the Minecraftian souls, Zombie pigmen and even each other if they are pissed off enough. They take on the appearance of a Human skull on fire, with smaller rods floating around them to protect their weak point. These are creatures you reeeallly don’t want to tick off. Best to stay away from them or better yet not make eye contact with them.


Mimic

These are probably the most ghoulish of Nether monsters, They are Shape-shifters that take on the look of Minecraftians friends or loved ones, but make them look like they are in Peril. They call out for help and when a Minecraftian is close, they Reveal their true form and Makes short work of their Prey. They take on a very demonic look, They have Velociraptor like Claws, Spikes running down it’s back, A Lizard like head with 3 hellish soul piercing eyes. When it’s pretty is near, It Opens its mouth extremely wide and Hooked tentacles come out of the sides of it’s jaw to pull you in. It then devours you like a snake eating a rat.

These creatures are very repulsive indeed; it should be common sense not to go near any of these things. Stay away, don’t even think about them.


Wither Skeletons

These Sinister beings are the servants of Herobrine himself. They are much Taller and more dangerous than there smaller counterparts. These Skeletons wield longswords tipped with a Toxin known as “The Wither sickness” If you were to be injected with this toxin, it would slowly rot your insides away to the point that you Wither up and die, Hence the name “Wither Sickness”

These Skeletons are tall as they are powerful. You are best avoiding these monsters because of how hostile they can be towards Minecraftians.


Magma Cubes

Magma cubes are Piles of Sentient lava that can move on their own free will. Wherever they go they leave a trail of molten lava behind. These Creatures body temperatures reach up to 3000 degrees Fahrenhiet or 1648 degrees Celsius. There Outside is coated in a thick molten armor that protects them from Weaponry. They mostly Hunt the Minecraftian souls and Zombie pigmen. But they can’t really eat them due to not having a digestive tract. So what they actually do is absorb them to grow to a larger size. Magma cubes can become larger from the amount of its prey it consumes. The more they eat, the bigger they grow.

Magma cubes can be Tricky to fight, Provided your swords don’t melt from there External heat or that it gets stuck inside of them. You really don’t want to become these thing’s dinner. So stay away from them.


Nether Bats

These Creatures live in the Crevices in the walls of the Nether, They are small but Savage little monsters. When they spot a Wandering soul or an Unfortunate traveller, they will form into a Swarm of Hell bats and charge after you hissing and screeching. They are like the Piranhas of the Nether, they will Eat your body straight down to the very bone. And once they are finished, they return from where they came to repeat the same thing.

These monsters are tricky to deal with due to them being swift in flight, and Plus there are LOTS of them. So don’t let your guard down because these things will strike you at any moment.



And of Course, the Biggest and most Vicious nether beast of them all..


The Wither.


If the Wither skeletons are the Servants of Herobrine, then the Wither is his cerberus.


The Wither is the Incarnation of Undead souls that seek vengeance on the Living. It will Not stop until everything living is Destroyed. The Wither itself is very unpleasant to be around. When he appears, the Sky will turn to a reddish tint, Everything around you will start to Wilt and die, Flowers, Grass, trees you name it. He takes on a 3 headed ghost look, With a Large ribcage, 2 vestigial heads, the Main head and a long tail. He hovers around the land using levitation and wherever he goes, Death follows. People can tell the Signs that the Wither is near due to how many Buzzards follow his trail.


The Wither is an extremely hard monster to fight; he is relentless in combat and will try and kill you the first chance it gets. It will Trick you and exploit your every weakness until you meet your defeat. So prepare as Much as you can. And Pray that you can survive him.
