Although it could have been put a bit more eloquently, Jerry does have a point. People are going complain about most kinds of change (especially to things they care about) no matter how long they've ignored and/or neglected the thing being changed. The IJAH survival world is definitely no small exception; rather, people resist it changing to an exceptional degree as they always have. And besides, we aren't the ones footing the bill to keep the empty, neglected world running every day. Unless anyone here is able to prove that maintaining the survival server is in any way profitable at this point, then we have very little ground to oppose this decision. We're going to be given a world download of this survival server just like we were with the last one (although thankfully this time with a bit more notice before the world closes). This is the best decision for keeping the network alive, and although I'd like to see survival stay up, I just can't defend it any more.
