    Hello! This isn't actually a bug, your seeds are breaking off when you place them because there is not enough light. To fix this put some light around your seeds and they will stay/grow.

    Not a bug. Just place some torches/glowstone around your farm, just like what SnowSkillz have mentioned.

    Talked to the player in-game as well and they seemed to have solve the issue.
