You guys requested it, I did it. @GoobyHasAnOpinion (I presume you'd like to see this xD) Anyways, welcome! to my skin tutorial :3 But, before I start this tutorial I just wanted to mention something real quick: it took me over a year to get to this... "level" or whatever you want to call it. It requires lots of practice. Another thing I wanted to mention: this tutorial shows how to make skins like this [aka super shaded skins]: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's begin! Basic information: Colors I use for the skin [from the brightest to the darkest]: #ffe9e0 #ffe1d7 #fecfbe #fec0a9 (You can add more colors if those colors aren't enough) Setup: 1. I use Skindex, I personally think it's the easiest website. Websites like NovaSkin etcetera are too complicated in my opinion. Anyways, open Skindex (link here) and click on Editor. 2. #ffe9e0 < Put this color number in the little color box thingy ( Spoiler: Open this! ) 2. Color the entire body. Click twice on each part of the body to fill the entire body with that color fast. Color it all EXCEPT FOR THE FACE. Sometimes I forget where the face is after I color the entire body xD 3. Click on the black bar where it says 'Standing' and then click on 'Wheee!' this will help you make sure you filled every single part of the body. 4. VERY IMPORTANT! click on this button if it's marked in orange, like in the picture: Tutorial: Note: the tutorial is going to be about the head and hair, I may add clothes later... 1. Now, fill the face with color and start making the eyes. I don't know how to make male eyes, since the only skins I make are female, so I'll do female eyes. Follow my steps: 2. Now, start planning the hair using one color (remove the hands and legs for now). Don't forget those parts of the body! > 3. Start shading the hair! Follow mys steps: Shade the rest of the hair that way (I'm too lazy to shade it all, it's just pretend it's shaded huehue xD) 4. Now for the hair bang, click this box again, so it'll be surrounded by that orange mark thing: Click "Grid Off" (if it says "Grid On" then don't click it) and plan your hair bang [Quick tip: remove the head, return it after you're done editing the bang/while editing if you want to check if it looks good]: Now, shade it doing the same "pattern" I showed earlier; 3. Final part- shading the face&other head parts. This is how I shade the head [I used the skin I showed earlier to demonstrate]: Face: Higher neck part: Lower neck part: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you guys for reading! I hope this tutorial helped you :)♥
This skin: took me 1 hour and... 10 minutes plus minus. The one I showed in the tutorial took me way less :P Good luck x3 Hehe maybe c: ^-^
Glad to know you liked it ^-^ We'll see ;) Meh, I was actually planning on opening a YouTube channel after the 1.8 name changing update (and then I'll name the channel by the IGN I'm going to have) so maybe then ;)
