Regular Show

Hey, recently an amazing cartoon show called "Regular Show" ended. I'm unsure about the impact this show had on others, but for real man, I loved it. I still remember seeing the premiere and thinking it was going to be another show that just lasts 4-5 episodes and then gets cancelled...and oh boy I was wrong.

But, Regular Show was more than that. It lasted over 250 episodes, eight seasons, multiple years...just entertaining its fans. Nothing will replace it; there is literally nothing that can replace the quirkyness, the cheezyness, the unique style it gave. Sadly, life has caught up with me the past year or so and I have stopped watching the series, but seeing this clip of the finale almost brought me to a tear.

The decision to cancel the show was not made by the network that aired it, but the creator of the show...and he has all the right to do it. Regular Show was one of those cartoons that you could never get bored of; you could keep watching it...that's why it had such a big impact. If you haven't seen the series, I highly suggest watching some of the episodes; you'll like it, especially if you are a fan of Cartoon Network and cartoons as a whole.

I'm going to miss this show, and I hope they air reruns ocasionally. And as I said earlier, nothing can compare to the impact this show had.

I used to watch this all the time. I'm so sad it ended, but I remember them saying it was going to end long ago?
It's such a funny show that I could watch for hours. I love it!!

 

I watched it once but when I saw that the boss was a walking talking bubblegum machine, I lost all faith.

at first i thought this show was stupid, but after watching a few more episodes I loved it and I laughed so many times.
the voice cast are/were amazing, all their voices fit the characters
the animation was neat, clear and well done
the comedy, oh man where can i start, some of the episodes were strange, and sometimes I question the writers work, but how they interpret the comedy aspect is amazing

I was either 7 or 8 years old when it came out, and I always had a bond with it. My family and I used to watch it all the time together, and I'm sad to see it go :(

The creator made the right choice to end it, I'd rather see it end on a high note, than let it become milked to death like Spongebob.

Imo Regular Show was the remaining light on CN because Adventure Time ended. And now RS is gone too, so I have a feeling CN's future is going to be bad.

The ending had me holding back tears because we lost a special character, and the series was coming to an end.

 

I came back to this thread and I honestly took a moment to think back to all the shows that ever stopped all the amazing shows and it makes me sad to be honest watching how almost all shows end at one point and you feel like this sort of emptiness inside that feeling like you lose connection to some of your favorite characters you grew up with. A few examples I came across happened to be

Tom and Jerry

How I met your mother

Regular Show

Suite Life of zack and cody

Avatar the last air bender

I loved all of these and it makes me sad and even if I go and watch the episodes again its not the same

 

My dad is a working man, 7-6. I barely see him but growing up I would run home so we could sit down at the TV and watch this show. Without this show my dad and I probably would of never connected.

This was a jolly good show.

 

VGHS is awesome, I watched it on Netflix.

I actually haven't kept watching this show once they started the space seasons. I watched everything before that though, and it was awesome.
