Popularity issues/Acknowledging new members

I have made a very similar point here in my thread. I have replied to this thread a while back, this just puts it much more into context. Side note: a moderator edited my post for some reason. I do not know why.

I used to, but now I just post. On the topic of new members, me and @aFluffyGoober usually with welcome people.

 

I completely agree with you. I always try to answer people when addressed, sometimes it can be confusing though due to only donator names showing visibly in chat and the rest becomes this big grey blur. I'm cool with people messaging me in game but I can't always reply as I may be in a game or just simply AFK. If people talk to me, I'll answer them as there is no reason to ignore them :)
