Description of the map: That jump must be possible- but is it worth the risk? Haunted House is a handbuilt map that leads you through four rooms on the first floor, two hallways higher up, and then two more rooms toward the end. There are many places you could shortcut, but they wouldn't drastically change your time (You can't skip rooms anywhere.) It's a big step up in design from my previous maps since when I built those, I compared them to the current ones rather than the ones that were accepted and submitted (Some of our older maps aren't very detailed.) So I made this map; I hope you enjoy it!

I'm sorry that my editing isn't that top notch, but I lag a lot when I record at all and I had troubles recording so it was a bit weird with the desktop and all. Not only did it take hours to make the map, but it took hours to finish the parkour. Oh, and I did this ALL on a laptop. Not even a gaming one. So, if you want to, keep an eye on the time.
These are in order of when you would see them when playing the map.

Note: Since there are a bunch of dark oak gates on the walls and I don't want players messing with them, I concealed them off with barriers. It does not effect the map or its gameplay.

Idk if it's my computer's brightness or not, but some places might be a little dark. You could also add some design on the walls so it wouldn't look so plain.

Besides that, the map looks cool, and I like it. Thumbs up, man.

You asked me to check out your map submission, so here I am! (even if I am just a... tiny bit late)

    Alright, here I go.
My first impression is that the outside looks quite nice, so good job with that.
Also, maybe replace that gravel path before you get to the house with a couple jumps or just moving the start of the map to the front door. Having that little part would just add extra time to the map and it would feel a bit weird for a start.

Inside the house things don't look quite as nice as outside.
As Snuffles pointed out, it's very dark inside. People with lower gamma or lower brightness might have a hard time seeing, so maybe replace a few of the redstone torches with normal ones here and there.
My second note for the inside is that there's a looot of wood. Not that that's a bad thing, since houses obviously have wood in them, but the inside is almost completely wood. It doesn't have as much color variation as the outside (dark oak, oak, logs, etc.) which makes it a bit more boring to look at.
    Next thing; the jumps themselves.
Firstly, the jumps don't make much sense. When I make a parkour with a theme (laboratory, prison, etc.) I try to think "does this jump make sense?" when I make it. Although I do have some random jumps, it's good to try to stick to that idea. The wood poles doesn't exactly make sense as to their purpose in the house, so they look a bit awkward.
Secondly, all the jumps are just wood. Maybe add a bookshelf here and there and have them jump onto that or something. Try to think of things a house would have and then try to make those into jumps, and since it's a haunted house you could then slightly alter them. Another jump could be, say, a broken staircase with a gap between one stair and the next. Things that fit into their environment, ya feel me? And not all of these things that houses have need to be jumps. You could make a couch somewhere in the water and just have it be there for decoration. In fact, having those details that aren't actually jumps makes it feel more alive, so don't be afraid if you can't figure out how to turn something into a jump.
There are a lot of fence jumps. Not that fence jumps are bad (because they're not), but having so many will seriously slow down the parkour. J&H parkour maps tend to be made for speed runs, so a map with a lot of fence jumps that slow you down might not fit that exact mold.

    Alright, final note: the mood.
The mood of a themed map like this is very important. You need to be sure that the map feels like it's a haunted house, not just a house that's flooded and has a few cobwebs. Try adding leaves (in place of vines since vines grow and are annoying) and other such things to add a worn-down abandoned feeling to the map. You did a good job with the stairs and fences for texture in the walls and such, but the leaves and other-colored fences will add that little bit of color contrast that makes it really shine.

A lot of the jumps in this map look pretty nice, so I'm looking forward to playing it myself.
Hope my advice can help and best of luck on getting accepted. c:
