Okay guys, pi day is coming up and I need help. We are having this competition at school for whomever memorizes the most digits of pi. I know 55 digits so... how do I remember more? I really want to win.
I would print out a paper with the first 200 or so digits. Recite as much as you have memorized, and when you start to struggle, make a mark where you stopped and then look at the next few digits. This process seems to work well if repeated. It helps if you have someone else to double check the digits that you recite.
xD I'm just being super competitive. Last year the highest number someone got is 36 and I'm at 56. @Praetor Smart. I didn't think of that.
I have a friend who memorized more than 100 digits of pi, he's been practicing since 3 years ago, another friend memorized 100 in two days. Just break pi into sections of 4-5 digits, and try to remember up until a certain phase, once you're comfortable with it, try remembering up to one more phase.
