Parkour Map Competition

Hello everyone!

So, as many of you know, we have a very low number of parkour maps which are very old and make the minigame repetitive. We want to change that. We want to make Parkour more fun, and to do that, we are accepting help from the community!

We want YOUR maps! We want those who think that are up to the challenge, to submit their parkour map entries here and make the best of your skills!

Now, you're all probably wondering "How do I enter my parkour map?" And the answer is simple: You apply on this thread!

If you wish to enter, simply build your entry in a minecraft server or single-player, make a schematic (Using WorldEdit, and the schematic command (More Info here: http://www.minecraft-schematics.com/worldedit/tutorial/ )), get a link for the download of the schematic (Example: Mediafire), and you are almost done! Afterwards, you just need to enter your entry with the format which will be mentioned at the bottom part of this thread.

The map can be ANYTHING you want! Only the best maps will be accepted, and players may submit as many maps as they want! Pay attention to details and make sure the map is anti-cheating proof!

The chosen maps (which will be the best of the best), will get to be part of the VIP maps! Meaning they'll be exclusive to donators with the required parkour perk!

Now, let's get to how you can apply for this!​

Rules:

• Don't copy any existing maps! Be original.
  
• Make the map possible to finish.
• Use water for respawning (Obligatory - If you aren't familiar with this, check how the current maps work).
  
• You may enter the contest as many times as you want! But don't make several posts, simply edit your existing entry if you want to enter more maps!
• No trolling features (Like hidden rooms)

The format is as follows:

Any entries which do not comply with the format and the rules will be deleted.​

The winners will be contacted, and the link for the maps schematic will be asked through PM, here in the forums. Once the winners are chosen and all schematics are gathered, we will proceed with the placement of the maps in our server!

Ahem... can i just make the map on my creative plot and tell you coords?

 

If you build it in your plot, find a way to get a schematic of it. Like using WorldDownloader.

Can't you just use world edit to create a schematic? and then paste that schematic into the parkour server? Lol just saying :P

 

I'll just do it at my plot because this schematic stuff is very confusing.

Sorry for me failing so much, I suck at parkour and I was lagging due to the recording. The schematic is in the description of the video. EDIT: I have updated the parkour by adding a rocket ship, fixing the parkour up a bit, and better-detailed the pillars.

I drew inspiration from Western Club Kick (Creative 2), BlueNet (Built by me, @AndehTheCow, and @Lolingguy13 (Creative 1), and my own imagination.

 

You can't.
They are both in different hardware so you cannot transfer it.

 

Lol I don't think that will work; mine craft for Xbox and mine craft for pc are two completely different things

 

It isn't possible.
They are in a different hardware and software. USB won't work too and the program +Xbox minecraft has a different version of Minecraft PC.

Its a community of sharing Xbox 360 games mods, tutorials news etc. It isn't a transfer program.

Edit: Also I was able to beat the parkour map. It is fully 100% possible. It's not easy, but it's not hard either. It's a good difficulty for an average parkour-er..

Edit#2: Also, if anyone needs a server to build on, please feel free to PM me, and I will send you the IP, and a world you can build in.

 

Are 1.8 blocks allowed @MrDeathWilliam?

 

I believe not as the server was not fully updated to 1.8 yet so the 1.8 blocks would probably not appear.
Also, I am currently working on a map and I'll see how it goes.
