OITC: Grind hole

    Where: OITC, the map Grind.
    Description: There is a spot in grind where you can fall in a hole:

    f3 is on so you know where the hole is exactly. As you can see you are stuck in here, and it tends to ruin your match. The only way you get out is if someone else kills you.
    Here is what it looks like from the outside

    Above that quartz wall, is near a spawnpoint. Its really easy to re-spawn, and then run in that direction and fall right into the hole.

    This could be like other spots, to trap others.

    I've seen that hole on the map as well, though I doubt it will be fixed as it is very tedious to edit a map that is already in the active OITC lineup...

    But in all seriousness, I'm pretty sure MrDeathWilliam has access to editing the map afaik

    Honestly, I tend to see people camp there and kill you whenever you get close, which can be annoying..
    Being stuck in there itself is annoying.
    However, I don't really mind the hole being there, though it being fixed would be great!
    I have also noticed that if you get in that area anyway, outside the hole, you are trapped as you can't get over the fences, but it's simpler for other players to kill you. So that's not a problem.

    It's not that easy. There are multiple copies of the map that are used at one time (for example, you can find hijacked in like three different lobbies at the same time when looking at the OITC board). They would have to go to each map and change it without disrupting gameplay, which means they might have to close the OITC server for a short period of time or do something else to prevent people from joining when someone is updating them.

    This is a bug report. Not a suggestion, its not really up for debate.
    Im just waiting to see if an owner finds it in need of being fixed, or if its not that important/uneeded.
