My Resignation.

Hey everyone.

It's pretty surreal for me to be writing this thread, I never thought I would have to for a long time, but that " long time " came a lot quicker.
I have decided to resign today for a few reasons.

• Reason (1):

Inactivity.

My inactivity has increased immensely. I sometimes wouldn't be on for weeks at a time. I wouldn't ban people, I wouldn't warn people, I wouldn't do anything. Life recently has just gotten busier and busier, and that doesn't come to my favour when it comes to my activity on the server. It is just too hard to keep up with the server with all this stuff going on IRL. I would rather resign and let somebody else do the job I was meant to do better than I ever could, than to not resign, be inactive and not help the server out at all.

• Reason (2):

The community.

I became staff 1.5 years ago, and the community it was back then, is not what it is now. I'm not at all trying to say the community we have now is " bad " or " not my taste " or anything like that, i'm just saying it is different. I feel as if I don't " fit " into this community anymore. I just feel like I don't belong here anymore. In my opinion, it's hard to be a staff member when you feel like you don't belong in the community anymore.

• Reason (3):

The " online " life.

I have just lost interest in having an " online " life or " personality " to be honest. It just isn't for me anymore. I would much rather be going out with friends 24/7 and not worry about anything happening on here. I don't mean that to be rude, but just to me, it's hard to keep up with 2 different types of platforms. Online & IRL.
And as always said, IRL before online.

• Reason (4):

Losing interest in MineCraft.

Pretty self explanatory. Lost interest in the game.


I got accepted on March 7th, 2016, so more than a year ago. That year and a half that I have been staff for, I have had such an amazing time. I met some of the most amazing people, and got to be a staff member for a server I loved.
I don't think I will be that active on the server anymore because, as I said before, I lost interest in the game. Everything comes to an end eventually, but it's for the best.

Thank you for everything you do. You guys are doing such a great job as staff, and I really enjoyed working with you guys. You guys are all so helpful and kind, I'm glad I got to work with you. Keep doing you.

I know that by resigning, I am doing what is right to me.
I am so thankful for everything that has happened throughout that year and a half, and I don't regret having this experience at all.

And guys, if you want to be staff, go for it. You will learn a lot from the experience, and it honestly, really is worth it. Don't give up (:

I hope to see you on the server though, and perhaps you can still stay close to the staff team as I expect you (most likely) do.

I think you were one of the first staff members I talked to when I became staff and you were really nice and welcoming.
I hope you continue with this attitude as it will get you far.
