Adding new characters is harder than you think! You gotta try and make them likeable, develop their personality, make them able to connect to the reader, make their existence understandable, connect them with the setting, etc.

Anyway, I'm trying to think of new story ideas. If ya'll can think of some then feel free to tell me through pm (private message) or just comment them here. c:

    Chapter 37 - Reborn

    Kry's Perspective:

I smashed my fist against a dead tree.
    "Dammit!" I shouted.
"Kry, she survives this." Undead said.
"I know! But... I remember how she then turned against us somehow!" I sighed.
"Hold the phone... she goes against us? What's the biggie?" Xeno questioned.
    "Who knows," Twage said.
I noticed Agent S next to Sandy. He was on the ground with some blood still stained on his fur. Agent S continued wrapping the bandage around his back.
I walked towards them. Mandy also kept licking Sandy's face.
"He's doing okay, but he may not able to walk for some time." Agent S said softly.
"Man, now I hate Katy more than Captain Jackass! She was the one who stabbed Blab, turned Harry into a monster, forcing SnakeHammer to try and kill us and now has made Sandy unable to walk for a while and also chopped his wings off!" I cried.
"She was also controlling Captain Jack this whole time... just imagine what she is going to do to Louise." Xeno sighed.

    Louise's Perspective:
I could feel how much my strength had improved.
I held the Shadaxe tightly in my hand.
"Now you better start treating me like a real lady." Katy hissed.
    "I know," I said.
"Now, why don't we replace those rotten clothes. SnakeHammer, bring the robe to the lady." Katy commanded.
    SnakeHammer refused to move.
I held the Shadaxe close to his neck. He stared at me.
"What has Katy done to you." SnakeHammer hissed.
He stood up and walked out of the room.
"Louise. Perhaps inserting more dark magic into you would improve your strength effectively." Harry suggested.
"Giving her too much power and she'll probably die!" SnakeHammer shouted across the room.
"No one asked for your opinion." I murmured.
    "Well?" Harry asked.
    I nodded.
Harry inserted the needles in my arms. The pain was stinging, but the award of more strength was worth it.
"So, let me recap you about the enemies," Katy said.
I listened as Harry continued to stab needles into me, inserting the dark energy.
"We are trying to rebuild this planet. In order to do that, we must destroy it. Then a new planet can form. We can then rule that planet, have slaves, get infinite food and money! But these... idiots are stopping that." She explained.
"And who are those that are stopping us?" I questioned.
"Let me list them... there's Kry, the raging bloody boss, Agent S the useless and scared brat, Twage the stupid and annoying one, Sandy the dumb dog, Undead the 'future' guy who has no emotions, Xeno the one I hate the most cause she is just plain cheap and her dog Mandy, who is even dumber than Sandy." She added.
"I think I can remember them all," I said.

SnakeHammer entered with the clothes in his hands. He looked at me with an annoyed expression.
"Look at those pretty clothes! A black robe, black shirt, black pants, black-"
"I get it. Everything is black." I sighed.
"You guessed it. Black is such an interesting colour. It has no flavour yet so much meaning." Katy said as her eyes twinkled.
I took the clothes from SnakeHammer and exited the room.
"Don't take too long," Harry said.

    Xeno's Perspective:

I hopped out of the portal and examined my view.
    "Not too shabby," I said.
But once I turned around, the view turned much more... darker.
    "Nevermind," I added.
    Everyone else exited the portal.
"So... where are we?" Twage questioned.
"Somewhere that stinks, that's what." Agent S hissed.
"And I don't think its the planet." I giggled.
I could hear Twage hiss at me.
"Same planet, but much less life." Undead answered.
    Mandy shivered in my backpack.
"Can we go to a place that's less creepy!" Agent S cried.
"Quit being a wuss," Kry said.
"Well, looks like we'll just have to find Katy and Louise, kill Katy, get back Louise and-"
"Woah woah woah, like this? Without any weapons?! I lost my spear, Kry probably doesn't have any more bullets, Agent S obviously can't use a bow and all Sandy and Mandy have is their teeth and claws which aren't really sharp." I complained.
"But we have Undead and I's magic! Right, buddy?" Twage cheered.
"We cannot continue with just magic. Besides, using too much magic would kill ourselves. We must find new weapons if we are going to find Louise and the others." Undead explained.

"This is a stupid idea!" I hissed.
I leant against the rock spitting at Twage.
"This idea is perfect. All we got to do is lure the beast in, kill it, chop off its teeth and use them as weapons. Simple!" Agent S explained.
"I hope those teeth aren't rotten, though..." I commented.
    "Sh, it's coming." Undead whispered.
I could hear the stomps get louder and louder, shaking the ground.
I held my breath. I could hear the beast smell the air.
I could tell it can smell us.
    "Now!" Kry shouted.
Twage stood up and shot fire at the beast, but the fire missed.
I stood and noticed how huge the beast was.
It had crumby, grey skin with two tusks coming out of its mouth. It was twice my height too.
The beast howled and charged towards us.
It destroyed the rock we hid behind. Agent S flew forward and landed on his face.
Twage threw another fireball, but it missed.
I noticed the fireball catch fire on a dead tree.
I quickly rushed to the tree and grabbed a stick with a flame on top.
"Yo Mandy, you ready to set this beast on fire?" I asked as I looked over my shoulder.
Mandy barked and ducked back into my backpack.
I stabbed the fire into the beast. It howled as the fire spread across its body.
The fire danced and sparked, causing the skin to go black.
The beast fell to the ground.

"Okay, maybe that idea wasn't so bad after all," I said.
Undead returned with the new weapons.
    "Oooo, nice." Twage gasped.
"Since the material in the teeth isn't heavy, using these would make our job a little easier." Undead explained.
He dropped the weapons to the ground. I noticed a spear in the bunch.
"Kry, I've carved the teeth into tiny bullets which could be used for your pistol. So looks like you don't have to throw away that pistol." Undead said.
"Cool." He said as Undead handed him the bullets.
"Agent S, I also got some hair that is strong enough for the bow. The arrows also don't have much weight anymore so it'll be easier to use." He explained.
"One desperate question... where did you get the hair from?" Agent S asked.
    "Uh... the tail." He answered.
"Xeno, here is your new spear." Undead said.
He passed me the spear. It felt almost weightless and the handle seemed easier to hold due to the hard wood.
"I've also created a sword for myself." He said as he held the sword up high.
"Hey! What about me?!" Twage cried.
"Uhm... your spells should be good" Undead shrugged.
"Oh come on! You get a sword! Why not me?" He whined.
Mandy suddenly jumped out of my backpack.
    "What's wrong?" I asked.

She wandered towards Sandy who was still on the ground.
She howled and then licked his face.
    His eyes began to twitch.
He slowly stood up. His legs were quite shaky like they were weak.
He looked around and sniffed the air.
    "What happened..." He said softly.
    Everyone looked at each other.
    "Wh-Wheres Louise?" He asked.
    "She's... gone." Agent S sighed.
    "Gone?!" He gasped.
"No, not gone as in dead. She's just disappeared, we're going to find her." I explained.
"Disappeared?! You saw the whole thing, I didn't! Tell me!" He cried.
"Okay. She jumped off a cliff with Captain Jack. She survives this, but now she maybe with the enemies team now." Undead explained.
He looked down and noticed the bandages around him.
"My wings are gone... all well." He said.
"I mean, they did look weird on me. Plus they were hard to control." He added.
I crossed my arms and bit my lip.
"Well... the suffering is almost over. Just this world then the present to deal with." Kry announced.

    Louise's Perspective...
I stared at the glass. I watched the bubbles float to the top of the liquid.
The person stood in the cyro pod, eyes closed and her head slightly leant back.
I noticed all the wires at the back of the cyro pod. I held my Shadaxe tightly.
I held it close to the wires. I could see the blade press against the wires.
    "Louise... don't."
I turned around. SnakeHammer stood there.
"Why? Why is this humans life relevant?" I questioned.
"She can help us... she can help you." He said.
    "Help me with what?"
    "Your true self."
I paused for a moment. I turned around again and looked at the body.
"Isn't her name Blab?" I questioned.
    There was silence.
    "Well... isn't it?"
"How... did you know?" He gasped.
"Just came to my mind." I shrugged.
I looked over my shoulder. He then slowly stepped out of the room.
I took a step closer to the cyro pod.
"Blab... why do I remember that name?" I murmured.
    To Be Continued...

I'm kind of like Sherlock if you think about it. I always seem to have the answer to what's going on and I know everything that should happen and I don't show emotion most of the time.

Bali was better than I expected. It was really sticky though and a monkey almost took a bag. >.<
Edit: I just realised how long this chapter was... oops. All well, the more the better, heh.

    Chapter 38 -The Rod
    SnakeHammer's Perspective:

"Her memories are starting to get restored," I said as I crossed my arms.
I looked back to make sure Louise or Katy wasn't here.
"Impossible. We made sure every single thing in her mind had disappeared." Harry said.
"We? You mean just Katy." I hissed.
He narrowed his eyes at me.
"I did assist her." He added.
"Why do you even have to continue taking orders from her?" I questioned.
"Captain Jack told me to obey anyone who is the leader. I obeyed him, now I obey Katy." He explained.
"But Captain Jack is gone... at least for now."
    "For now?"
I looked at him and concentrated at his eyes.
"I heard the others say something about he'll return in the future... or the present. I don't know, I don't get the whole past, present and future thing. I still think we're in the present." I shrugged.
    I heard faint footsteps.
I turned around. Louise walked around the corner and looked at me.
    "I heard everything you said."

I gulped and looked back at Harry.
"What even are memories... how is it possible that our mind can keep such large information." She said.
    Something is up with her...
"I do remember something. I was with a group of people. I don't know who they are, though, but it was like they were by my side. Do you know who they are?" She questioned.
Before I could answer, Harry, placed his hand on my shoulder and shook his head.
    "I...I don't know." I said stiffly.
She looked away from me. I haven't seen her smile yet... she just had this eternal frown. I don't know if it'll ever change.
She looked at me again. I took a step back.
"You seem to be uncomfortable whenever I'm here."
    My eyes widened.
"Why do you think that?" I questioned, trying to sound strong even though I still sounded like a whiny brat.
She narrowed her eyes. I held my breath.
"Looks like you kids are getting along."
Katy stood there with that same bratty smile she always has.
    Louise stood up straight.

"So what is our mission?" Harry questioned.
"We make little Louise here stronger!" She answered cheerfully.
    "That's not really a mission..." I sighed.
"What are we supposed to do?" Harry asked angrily.
"I don't know! Make yourselves useful I guess?" Katy shrugged.
Katy walked out of the room while Louise followed her. I could hear them talking, their like best friends.
I looked at Harry. He just sat on an old wooden box and looked down.
"We can't just sit here and do nothing!" I yelled.
    He doesn't respond.
I kicked a piece of stone on the ground.
I looked to my left and noticed the Shadaxe on the box.
I pressed my hand on it. It felt warm.
I examined Harry again to make sure he wasn't looking.

    Twage's Perspective:
"Arrggggg, I'm so bored!" I yawned.
"Quit your whining." Agent S sighed.
"Why can't we do something fun?!" I complained.
"Just close your eyes and go to sleep." Kry hissed.
"But I don't want to sleep!"
"If you don't fall sleep, then I'll eat all your rotten tomatoes in your pocket," Xeno growled.
I gasped and held my coat tightly.
I looked to my left and noticed how the rotten grass kept going on forever.
I stood up and just wandered around.

    "Woah..." I gasped.
I stared at the large crack in the ground.
I noticed a ladder hanging off the cliff. That's when I noticed the pickaxes on the ground.
"Oooooh, it's a mining sight, I could get rich!" I cheered.
A bark echoed through the air. I stood still.
    Another howl cut the silence.
I slowly turned around. Mandy sat there with her tongue hanging out.
"Mandy, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with stinky old Xeno?" I asked.
She barked then walked close to the cliff and started sniffing the air.
She stared at the darkness in the abyss.
"You smell something in there? Arg... but I hate the dark." I hissed.
She barked again and walked over to the ladder.
I sighed and held her as I climbed down the ladder.
The ladder's wood was weak. I'd keep holding my breath everytime I took a step down.

We finally made the ground. I held a fire ball to see.
Only a small portion of the area had light in it.
    Mandy ran on ahead.
"Hey! Get back here!" I called.
I couldn't hear her footsteps anymore.
    "Ah great..." I sighed.
    Maybe I should've just slept...
I looked closely at the ground that was as far as the light could reach.
"Arg, Shadows?! I thought they are gone!" I gasped.
It was a whole army of them. I held my breath.
"Uhm Mandy... a little help?!" I called.
Then I felt something cold press my leg.
I looked down, and Mandy was there with a rod touching me.
I picked it up and recognised it.
"Huh... where have I seen this before?" I murmured.
I took a step back. I noticed the red jewel on top of the rod.
But the jewel had a crack on it. The light inside stuttered.
"Hopefully this still works..." I sighed.
I held it up, pointing the tip towards the Shadows.
Red lightning zapped the ground, causing something to spawn...
    "D-DEMONS?!" I cried.

    They looked so... disgusting.
Their limbs were missing and some of their skin had bare patched.
Some of them even didn't have any legs or arms.
"Why do they look so disgusting..." I gasped.
The demons walked forward and tried to bite or scratch the Shadows, but it nothing.
They ended up getting sucked into the ground as the Shadows pulled them down into their dimension.
"Welp... they're useless," I said as I scratched my head.
But I noticed something once the demons got sucked in...
Once they were in the ground, their bodies didn't form into the Shadows, their shape was still in tact.
Then I noticed the demons attacking the Shadows, and they were actually able to defeat them all.
Their bodies then dissolved and vanished.
I guess their bodies couldn't take being in there since they weren't a Shadow.
    "Hello?"

I held my breath and held Mandy.
I noticed Agent S walk towards me.
"What in the bloody blooms are you doing here?" Agent S said.
"What are YOU doing here?" I gasped.
"Well since you disappeared, we're looking for you. Then I noticed your foot prints towards that ladder over there." He explained.
    "And Mandy disappe-"
He paused when his eyes met with Mandy.
"So... are you going to answer my question?"
"Well Mandy noticed something down here, so I found this. It spawns demons that are mutated or something. Something is wrong with this." I explained.
He grabbed the rod and examined it.
    "It's Captain Jacks..." He gasped.
"If that is his, then... will we be able to find his body around here?" I questioned.
    "Possibly."
"Hey what's that light over there?"
"Twae! Put the fire in your hand out." Agent S whispered.
I rushed to a rock and blew the flame out.

"Honestly Katy, why do we need his body anyway?"
I could hear SnakeHammer's miserable voice.
I noticed that Agent S was about to scream when their light reached us.
"We're here because he has something awesome! If we find his body, we find his rod," Katy answered.
    I held my rod twice.
"Twage, give it to them then they can go!" Agent S whispered.
    "Why? They won't find us."
"My neck is seriously breaking since this rock is so small." He complained.
"Why is this rod suddenly important."
I quickly peeked over the rock.
    Agent S pulled me down.
"What did you see?" He whispered.
    "Louise..." I murmured.
He quickly peeked over the rock but I pulled him down before they could see him.
"What have they done to her, she looks so emo in those clothes." He whispered.
"Wait... I smell something... like rotten tomatoes."
    Agent S punched my arm.
    "Rotten tomatoes huh?" Harry said.
"I remember someone who smelt like tomatoes..." Louise commented.
"Your memories are definitely returning." SnakeHammer said.
"Then we've got to get rid of them before-"
Katy paused. I held my breath and wondered why she stopped.
    "Isn't that Mandy?" Katy said.
I realised that Mandy was sitting next to the rock instead of behind it. I knew I should've held her!
    "If Mandy is here then..."
"Their here! Get them!" Katy shouted.

I jumped up and headed towards the ladder.
I heard the fire balls hit the ground just behind me.
My heart was thumping like a drum.
"Louise! Go get em!" Katy commanded.
I looked over my shoulder and noticed how she had the Shadaxe.
I rolled to the side, letting her Shadaxe hit the ground.
I shot fire at her face. She screeched and covered her cheek.
    Agent S grabbed my hand.
I grabbed Mandy and placed her in Agent S' arms since I had the rod to hold.
    "Jeez she's heavy!" He cried.
    "Just go!" I gasped.

    SnakeHammer's Perspective:
Louise almost chopping Twage's hand off. It was painful to watch.
"SnakeHammer, are you going to do something or what?" Harry hissed.
Louise was heading up the ladder. Perhaps I could zap the ladder in between them, causing her to fall down but let them escape.
I can then just say my aim wasn't right. Perfect.
I aimed and concentrated until there was enough space between them.
I charged my lightning ball up and shot it.
But Twage slipped and fell down a couple of steps, causing the lightning ball to head straight towards him.
    "Ah crap." I gasped.
The lightning caused him to scream as lightning jumped around his body.
    "TWAGE!" Agent S gasped.
He fell to the ground. I thought he was dead until I noticed him slowly breathig.
Louise jumped down and pressed her foot on her head.
    "Finish him off!" Katy laughed.
    "Wait!" I cried.
I hopped in front of her before she could chop his head off.
I grabbed the rod on the ground and held it in front of her face.
"We have what we needed! Mission complete. Well done, blah blah blah... let's go!" I said quickly.
She stared at me then took her foot off Twage.
I let out a deep sigh and looked at Harry and Katy.
"Finishing him off would make our job easier." Katy hissed.
"We already finished him off." I lied.
"Looks pretty dead to me." Harry shrugged.
"Well then... mission complete! That's probably the only useful thing you've done in your life." Katy cheered.
They walked off. Louise grabbed my rod then followed them.

    Agent S hopped down.
"Oh god... is he alive?" He gasped.
"He is. He's still breathing." I answered.
"Get away from him!" He shouted as he pushed me away.
I noticed how tense his eyes was, his rage was clearly seen.
Mandy growled at me before I could get close.
I sighed and walked away. I could still hear him call his name.
I wish I didn't even attack at all.

Chapter 39 - Wounds And Cures
    Xeno's Perspective
    They were gone.
Ever since last night, Twage and Mandy vanished.
Once Agent S left, he vanished too.
Sandy came rushing back, looking like all his energy had drained out.
"Guys... Twage... and Agent S..." He gasped.
"Well spit it out," Kry grunted.
"There trapped. I heard them. I think one of them is injured."
I stood up immdiately and stared at him deep in the eye.
"Mandy?" I questioned, srunching up my fist.
    "I don't know." Sandy sighed.
    Undead jumped up.
"Show us the way." Undead commanded.
Sandy nodded and ran off. We chased after him.

    "Oh my..." I murmured.
I stared at the large crack in the ground with the ladder dangling from the edge.
"Their in there? How can you be so sure?" Kry questioned.
"Someone! Help!" A voice echoed from below.
    "There's your proof." Sandy answered.
"Agent S! Twage! Are you okay?" Kry yelled.
We couldn't hear them, I just heard mumbling.
But I heard the word Mandy.
I rushed to the ladder without having second thoughts.
"Xeno! Wait for us!" Sandy cried.
But once I took a step down, I heard it creek.
"Uhm is this the only way down?" I questioned.
"No questions! Come on!" Kry shouted.
I sighed and started climbing down.

I finally reached the bottom but I couldn't see. It was pitch black.
"Hello?" My voice echoed through the area.
    "Xeno? Is that you?"
I gasped and started running forward.
    "Where are you?" I called.
I paused and tried to listen to an answer.
I finally saw light in front of me.
    "Mandy?" I gasped.
I sprinted forward, but it was just Kry and the others with a flashlight.
"Did you find them?" Kry asked.
"But.... I heard them before." I murmured.
    "Hmm?"
I focused at Kry. His eyes couldn't focus on one thing. They were constantly moving.
    "N-no." I answered.
"Why did we just send Agent S to go and find Twage and Mandy?" Undead questioned
"I was a fool! I thought just letting him go and find him would be no problem! But now their gone!" Kry shouted.
"You know guys, shouting about the problem won't solve it. Like honestly..." Sandy sighed.

    SnakeHammer's Perspective:
I kept grunting as I stared at the wall while Harry and Katy continously talked to me.
"You know, I was going to dump you there and quickly left you, but you proved your not so useless after all!" Katy cheered.
"Guys, I don't care about what I did. It wasn't a big deal." I hissed.
    "Katy." Harry said.
"I told you to start calling me master!" Katy hissed.
"Master. Where is Louise?" Harry questioned.
She glanced around the room then shrugged once she inspected every corner.
    "Probably the toilet." She shrugged.
The main gate opened. Louise entered.
"Wait, where the hell did you go?" I asked angrily.
"Hush. Master, I have brought guests." Louise said.
Arg, I hate how her voice now has no emotion.
She walked back out then came back in with something.
    "Marvelous!" Katy cheered.
It was Twage and Agent S. She held them by their feet.
"Dude, I told you, we've got the rod. Why do we need them? What are we going to do with them." I questioned angrily.
"We can kill them, Snakehammer." She answered.
She then walked out of the room as the two bodies got dragged across the floor.
"I'm going to leave them in the lab, perhaps we could turn them into Gods." She explained.

I pounded on the doors. Thank god Katy is out with the others.
The problem is that the doors were sealed shut. Louise probably has the code to open it.
I looked at the butons connected to the door.
"I know I'm not supposed to do this..." I murmured.
I charged up a small electric ball and shoved it at the button.
The doors flung open. I hurried inside.
Agent S and Twage laid in front of me.
Before I could quickly grab a potion that could heal Twage and wake up Agent S, I noticed Blab in front of me, still in that cyropod.
I actually remember clearly what happened... how Captain Jack- well Katy used me as a giant, causing the life of Blab to be wasted.
I shook my head. Then I noticed another small cyropod next to Blab's. It was the size of my arm.
I whipped the fog on the glass. A yellow body... where have I seen this before?
I read the tag on it.
    "Pikachu..." I murmured.
    That's when I snapped.
"Pikachu!" I gasped. I whiped the rest of the fog. There he was.
"He... was dead?" I gasped with disbelief.

I looked at the handwriting at the word 'Pikachu'. Harry's handwriting...
"Harry... is trying to save him. Is... is the darkness inside of him slowly fading away?" I whispered.
The sound of footsteps echoed through the lab.
"It is clear that my actions are breaking your rules... yet Katy seems pleased with my actions."
"Just... shut up..." I murmured. My eyes began to burn as my heart kept punching my chest.
I heard her continue to step closer.
"You dislike whatever I do. You try to stop them yet you an't even stop yourself."
"S-shut... it." I whispered. My stomach was now aching in pain.
"Perhaps stopping what you focus on will then focus on me so we can finally stop crossing our paths."
    I remained silent.
Once that final footstep was heard...
I spun around and shot lightning at her with full power.
She fell to the ground, breathing heavily.
She grunted as she pulled herself up then stared at me. That's when I finally noticed anger in her eyes.
Once she stood up, she leaped forward at me with the Shadaxe in her hands.

    Twage's Perspective:
    I just kept hearing... lightning.
I remember the feeling of electric, rushing around my body. I probably can still feel it.
My eyes opened. Everything was fuzzy and blurry. All I could see were two people, fighting.
I closed my eyes again. Why is my strength so weak?
Finally, my eyes were active, but everything was still fuzzy.
I stared at the ground with my arms struggling to keep me up from the ground.
I looked to my left and noticed Agent S, barely.
I tugged on his shirt. He wouldn't respond.
    "Arrgghh! You... you bi..."
I saw one of the bodies get tossed against the wall.
Then the other one noticed me. My vision slightly got better and noticed the face.
    "Louise..." I murmured.
She walked towards me. That's when I observed her Shadaxe in her fist.
I looked at Agent S again. Still not responding.
The Shadaxe was in front of her now. The blade pointed at me.
Then I felt something pressed against my back.

Mandy pounced at her. She gasped and began walking back as Mandy kept biting her face.
I slowly got to my feet, but fell to my knees again. Louise punched Mandy out of her arms and began running towards me.
I threw a fire ball at her. Her arm glowed as the fire danced on her arm.
She bunped against the shelves. Potions and books fell to the ground.
A potion rolled towards me. The label says strength...
I quickly drank it, and I already felt better.
I stood up. Louise now stood in front of me. Her whole left arm was now black.
"Arg, I knew I shouldn't have left you two here."
I held my breath once Katy and Harry walked in. It looked like a tornado was just in here.
I looked at Agent S. He began to move and groan.
Harry hurried to Louise and hurried her out of the room.
Katy looked at SnakeHammer who was leaning against the wall. He had scratches and scars all over him.
"Well what are you going to do? Kill them? Completely wasting their lives?!" SnakeHammer shouted angrily.
"No. Killing them now wouldn't satisfy me. Go, go back, make yourselves powerful. Then killing you would make you feel like you just wasted your time, which would then please me. Go on, go, before I have second thoughts..." She growled.
Agent S put his arm around my shoulder. We both walked slowly out of this place.

    Xeno's Perspective
I had no idea where we were going.
Undead just kept walking forward. He only told me to follow him.
"Dude, where the hell are we going?" I questioned.
    He still wouldn't respond...
"Come on, I know you're not deaf." I sighed.
Then right in my face was a cave. Candles sat on the ground, lighting a path.
    "Go in, slowly..." He commanded.
I took a deep breath and headed inside.
    The tunnel seemed endless.
At the end of the tuneel was a large stone with a weapon on top of it.
I turned around. Undead wasn't here.
I pressed my hand on the handle of the weapon. It felt warm and smooth.
"An axe... a golden axe." I whispered.
I held it tightly. All the candles died, leaving me with just the darkness to bond.
I listened carefully. Footsteps getting louder and louder.
I noticed light behind me. I spun around and leaped forward.
Undead grabbed the handle, stopping me.
I fell to the ground and sat there, looking at the axe.
"What... did I do. I didn't even think." I gasped.
"With a weapon, you instantly assume that everything is now a danger to you, causing betrayel. A common mistake Louise used to make." He explained.
"How... do I control it?" I asked.
"There is no cure... yet. Only use it when you are really in danger." Undead said.
"So... how did you get this? Why did you store it here?" I questioned.
"It was set on fire, causing many wounds to the weapon. But dark energy was the only cure. So now it is harder to control due to the darkness inside of it. I stored it here away from everyone just in case we got captured and this weapon would get stolen. Also, maybe don't show it to Kry otherwise he will jump to conclusions." He explained.
He walked out of the room.
I observed the axe one more time.
    To Be Continued...
Once again, apologising for crushing your dreams for a bit... lol

    Cheers mate c:

Hai. So the story only has a couple more chapters left. Oh nu.
But I've got good news, I have some short story ideas!
I have 3 so far, here's a brief plot about them:
    • A kingdom is attacked leaving only two knights to find the soul of the King to reclaim his throne
    • A woman's love has mutated into a monster, leaving her with a weak group to defend themselves against the apocalypse while she searches for her love hidden behind the darkness
    • A creatures tears can heal the spread of a disease that is turning people to ashes, but now people want to capture it and torture it just for its cure.
I am trying to find a website where you can post stories, but not too big otherwise I may loose my confidence. I'm kind of worried about other people's opinions on my new stories, so let us be patient for now.

    Characters With Major Roles:
    @YuyeeseXPrompX (Louise)
    @TheUndeadBrave (Undead)
    @Heavydirtysoul (Xeno)
    @Snakehammer19 (SnakeHammer)
    Characters With Minor Roles:
    @Konohito (Kry)
    @Svexellent (Agent S)
    @TwageTomato (Twage)
    @SandyTheDog (Sandy)
    @Kxmiy (Harry)
    @Katy_ (Katy)
    Enjoy ^-^

    Chapter 40 - Returning Demons

    SnakeHammer's Perspective:

I observed my hand, how each bolt was stabbed into my wrist.
My fingers were covered in metal with tiny bolts on the knuckles.
I opened then closed my hand, observing how slow the movement was.
Using any electric would just cause it to go on fire. So that's half of my strength gone already.
I always used this hand to cast any lightning. Whenever I used my other hand, all that came out was a tiny electric ball that would splat to the ground.
I punched the wall trying to release my anger.
Harry entered the room. He looked at me with still eyes.
He then concentrated on my hand. I tried to hide it behind my back.
"So... you both have wounds." He sighed.
I kept my mouth shut. He began to walk away and exit the room.
"You... you are saving Pikachu. Why?" I questioned.
    He paused and turned around.
"I don't know. Maybe he could be useful or something." He shrugged.
"Are you returning back to normal?" I said nervously.
His expression sat still. Why did I ask him that?
"Normal?" He barked, slightly tilting his head.
"Like... good. The opposite of evil." I answered.
"I don't know. Half of me wants destruction while the other half wants peace. I don't know which side I should listen to anymore." He explained.
"I don't think evil suits you to be honest," I said as I leant back.
"Did I used to be good? Doing good things?" He asked.
My eyes widened. Will he stop taking orders from Katy once I tell him his past?
A slight zap of excitement buzzed around my mind.
But Louise entered the room before I could open my mouth.

She stared at me for a second then turned her head.
    "Bloody idiot..." She cursed.
    "Pardon me?" Harry questioned angrily.
"Not you... the pig over there." She hissed.
I noticed how her entire right arm also had metal around it with bolts all over it. Her hand was also replaced.
"Well at least you're not the ONLY one wounded." I said.
She looked at me with narrowed eyes then looked back at Harry.
    "Lads, I have good news."
Katy entered with a large grin on her face.
"You know that rod you got Louise?" She questioned.
It was actually me who got it... but whatever.
    Louise nodded.
"Well it still works. Wowie. Good stuff, 10/10. It spawns demons, would is pretty awesome, amirite?" She cheered.
I remained silent. Didn't sound really awesome at all...
"Oh show some emotion you guys. Anyway, I was able to calculate the possibilities of this item. I powered up its strength to over 9000. So I was thinking that if we zap the power in the sky into the clouds, they would then rain demons all over the planet. Good plan, amirite?" She explained.
    "Cool." Louise said.
"See? At least she cares." Katy smiled as she walked closer to Louise.
    I looked away.
"Welp, lets do it now!" Katy announced.
    "Right now?" Harry gasped.
"You got a problem?" Louise hissed.
He sighed and crossed his arms.
"Well, then let's go to the highest peek and make it rain!" Katy commanded.
They heaed for the exit. I walked with them until Louisse stopped in front of me.

    "What now," I said angrily.
"Hold up squirt. This mission only holds 3 peeps." She said.
"Why don't you stay behind then?" I argued.
"Because I am the strongest out of all of us, including you."
"How about we hear the boss's opinion. I mean you care about your boss, right?" Harry chimed in.
"Hmm, I suppose so," Louise said.
"Well obviously you two don't get along, so you have got to be separated. So SnakeHammer, be a dear and stay behind. Maybe even sweep the floor or something." Katy said.
They all went out the main gate while I was stuck here. Louise obviously locked all the doors so I was stuck in the hallway.
    Plus I was starving.
    Great.

    Undead's Perspective:
She hasn't returned yet. Trying to master her new weapon I suppose. But like I said previously, there is no cure.
I wondered what she'll do with her spear though.
Kry kept trying to aim his pistol at a tree. Sandy kept growling whenever he slightly pressed the trigger.
"I keep telling you that this isn't the time for practice." Sandy growled.
"Oh come on, we have to prepare for any danger." Kry ansered as he eamined the bullets on the ground.
"Shooting will just create more danger." Sandy sighed.
    "Oh suuuuure." Kry said.
He pulled the trigger and the bullet blasted at the tree.
    "See? No biggie."
But the wood started the creak and began to fall towards Kry.
He rolled out of the way as the tree crushed to the ground.
    "Told you." Sandy sighed.
"It was a mistake, don't be so rude."
"Well whenever we make a mistake you get all grumpy and stuff," Sandy argued.
    "Guys, enough," I called.
"By the way, where in the hell is Xeno? She missed breakfast." Sandy questioned.

I heard grunting and soft foot steps. Something sliding against the ground too.
    "Who's there?" Kry called.
He stood up and took some steps forward.
Then he rushed past the bushes away from us.
"Yo Kry! Wait up!" Sandy called.
    I hurried after him.

"Dude! Where were you? Are you okay? What has happened to Agent S?" Kry kept asking.
"Slow down. One question at a time." Twage sighed.
Agent S was on the ground, breathing slowly.
He explained about him seeing Louise's group and how they were at the base and Louise almost attacked him.
"How come Katy didn't attack you right away?" Sandy questioned.
"She said she wouldn't be satisfied if she killed us now. She wants us to be stronger to fully please her." Twage answered.
Mandy kept licking my leg. Hmm...
    "Yo, where's Xeno?" Twage questioned.
    "Somewhere," I answered.
"Somewhere? Undead I thought you were smart. Just the word 'somewhere' is not helpful at all." Sandy complained.

I heard something crash to the ground. Like a tree falling.
    "What was that?" Sandy questioned.
I noticed the birds flying away from a specific area.
I ran towards the area. The others will catch up, surely.
I was positive that it was Xeno. I knew the power in that axe was too much. I had to find her first before the others did.

There she was, standing there with the axe behind her back as 100s of trees were on the ground with leaves scattered across the ground.
"I... I couldn't control it. I tried to but..." She cried.
"It is hard to control which is why using it is a risk." I explained.
    Her face turned bright red.
"Put the axe in your back pack." I commanded once I heard the others coming.
She placed the axe in her back pack and held her breath.
"Xeno! There you are! What in the blaze happened here?" Kry shouted.
    "I... I don't know." I sighed.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake. The clouds above blended to a dark grey colour and began to bunch up.
    "What is happening?" Kry gasped.
Mandy ran towards Xeno. I noticed her trying to smile but the atmosphere stopped her.
She held Mandy close and kept staring at the sky.
"Something is falling from above... and it isn't rain." Twage gasped.
    "Demons..." I murmured.
They landed on the ground and stared at us.

I noticed Xeno placing her hand in her back pack.
    "Xeno don't..." I whispered.
She held the axe out. I noticed Kry's face go pink.
"Xeno!! Where did you get that?!" Kry shouted.
"I'm... I'm sorry. But your safety is important to me." She said.
    "Xeno..." I murmured.
    To Be Continued...
I'm really sorry that this chapter is short, but I'm going to be very busy for the next couple of days so better than nothing, right?
    Thanks For Reading!!! :D

Chapter 41 - Two Axes Collide
    Sandy's Perspective:

I gazed at the axe in her hand. I noticed her fist slightly shivering.
I growled at the demons that crawled closer. They were all hunched back with their knees bent.
More demons fell to the sky. Most of them were crawling due to the fall breaking their bones.
"Xeno, their hopeless! We can take care of them!" I explained.
But she wouldn't listen. She just stood there, staring at all the demons coming closer.
My fur began to spike up and shiver.
At the corner of my eye was something shining. A light on top of the mountain shimmering. I observed a beam of light, shooting up to the sky. Is that what is causing this chaos?
"I think I know how to stop this!" I gasped.
I bolted away not looking back. They can take the demons on... for now.

The mountain was too steep. Every time I'd jump on a ledge, it would break and I'd tumble down.
I breathed heavily. I looked around rapidly, looking for any other options.
That's when I heard something panting behind me.
I turned around. Mandy stood there were her tongue out and gazing at me.
"What are you doing here?" I gasped.
Her head tilted to the side.
I barked at her, wondering if that'll make her understand me.
She stood there still observing me.
She suddenly began to growl at me.
    "What?" I said.
Her eyes were fixed on something else.
I turned around, and SnakeHammer stood there.
    I took a step back.
"Are... your friends okay?" He questioned.
"I... I hope so. Demons are falling down from-"
"I know... but I can't do anything. Thanks to Louise, my hand can't cast any lightning." He explained.
I gazed at his hand with metal all around it. Looked kind of painful with all the bolts stabbed into his wrist.
"What about your other hand?" I asked.
"Never have, never will. Listen, I'll distract them while you charge at Katy." He explained.
I nodded. He then held me and threw me up on a cliff that had a path leading to the top.
I looked down and realised that Mandy was missing. I didn't have time to look for her.
SnakeHammer climbed to where I was and ran ahead. I slowly crawled up the path.

I could now hear them shouting. Jeez, why do they hate SnakeHammer so much?
I stood on my feet but quickly ducked down when I saw them.
I crawled to a bush and listened carefully.
"I only came out here because I was starving since SOMEONE locked all the doors," SnakeHammer yelled.
    "Wasn't me," Katy said.
"Anyway, let me just sprinkle down some more demons just in case." She added.
I heard something zap. I saw the beam spawn again, causing the clouds to roar more.
"Don't you think that is more than enough?" SnakeHammer sighed.
    The beam stopped.
"Listen up pal! I can do whatever I want!" She yelled.
I began to crawl towards them. Katy's eyes were fixed onto SnakeHammer.
I picked up the pace and bolted towards the rod Katy held.
But a striking pain was left on my jaw once I flopped to the ground.
I growled and got back to my feet.
Someone stood in front of Katy.
    "Louise?" I murmured.
Her eyes were deep in red and wore a black robe. Her whole arm was replaced with metal.
"What have they done to you..." I gasped.
    "Sandy... right?" She asked.
    I nodded.
"Katy told me who you were... a dumb dog." She giggled.
My jaw dropped. They've definitely changed her.

"Can we just go now? You've spawned at least 1000s of demons now. That is surely enough. Let's just go back to the base and-"
"How about we take this dog too and make him one of our own," Katy suggested.
"How can we possibly make him obey you?" Harry questioned.
"By inserting dark energy into him perhaps." Louise giggled.
I growled and took some steps back.
    "No! That's ridiculous!" SnakeHammer shouted.
Louise turned to him with narrowed eyes.
"I mean... we have you! You are already powerful enough to make us venture on. Why do we need a dog on our team?" SnakeHammer explained.
    "Good point." Harry nodded.
"Then let's use him for something else," Louise said.
She grabbed my body. I yelped and growled as her nails dug into my skin.
"Hary. teleport us down, will ya?" She commanded.

    Xeno's Perspective:

I continuously stabbed a demon. I kept chopping off all its body parts as I watched the black blood ooze out.
"Xeno that is enough! There all already dead!" Kry yelled.
    I leapt forward towards him.
Undead jumped in front of him and spawned a shield.
I smacked right into the shield. I fell back as my vision became blurry.
I rubbed my head as I looked at Undead.
    "I did it again... didn't I?" I sighed.
    He nodded softly.
    "Xeno, god dammit!" Kry yelled.
"Easy there tough guy," I said.
Twage then came back with Agent S.
    "He's aaaallll good!" Twage said.
Agent S gazed at me seriously.
"Wait, where's Mandy and Sandy?" I questioned.
Before anyone could answer, I heard a buzzing sound.
I turned around, and Katy, Harry, SnakeHammer, Louise and... Sandy stood there.

"What has happened to her arm?" Twage whispered.
"You bastard SnakeHammer! How dare you almost kill Twage!" Agent S shouted.
His eyes widened as he frowned.
"You don't know what happened." He yelled.
"Wait, Agent S, you've got it all wrong-"
He held out his bow and arrow and shot the arrow towards SnakeHammer.
He rolled out of the way, just missing his shoulder.
He shot another arrow towards Katy, but Louise whacked the arrow to the ground with her Shadaxe.
SnakeHammer gave Louise a cross look.
She held the Shadaxe against Sandy's neck.
"Give me that axe or you can say bye bye to this puppy. " She growled.
His hair spiked up as he growled.
    I walked slowly to her.
Once I was in front of her, I whacked my axe at her robotic arm.
Sandy jumped out. Louise yelled and pushed me away.
I tried to whack her again, but her axe blocked my attack.
I pushed her slightly back. My friends then charged forward.
Then Mandy arrived and began biting her robotic arm.
    "Nice timing." I giggled.

Mandy hopped back in my backpack. Her arm had electric hopping all over it.
"You... now I remember you..." She hissed.
    "Huh?" I said.
"Don't just stand there, atta- ah!" Katy yelled as Undead whacked her with his sword.
    "Xeno..." She said.
"Harry, teleport us back to the base now!" She commanded.
    "What?" Harry gasped.
"What the hell Louise! Harry, don't listen- arg!" Katy yelled.
"You heard the lady, teleport us now," SnakeHammer said.
    He sighed and they vanished.
"Why... did she do that?" I gasped.

    SnakeHammers Perspective:
Katy kicked the boxes and punched the walls.
"Why did you do that you idiot! We could've won!" Katy shouted.
    "I recognised her..." She said.
    "So what?!" Katy yelled.
"She was a... friend. I knew I couldn't attack her if she was my friend." Louise answered.
Her memories are coming back. It maybe a matter of time before her entire mind has been restored.
"Well let me tell you something, cupcake. You remember her because she hated you! Betrayed you like a rotten pea!" She growled.
    "That's not tr-"
"Shut it, pea brain." Katy hissed.
"Is... is that true?" She murmured.
"Who knows. It's your memories." Harry said as he shrugged.
"You know what? Let's make you stronger and fix that stupid arm. Harry, come." Katy announced.
Louise and Harry exited the room.

I opened the doors. The small cyropod was still there.
I hurried to it and carefully held it.
    He was still in there...
I sighed and pressed my head against the glass.
"Wake up soon, buddy..." I whispered as my heart sank.
    To Be Continued...

Chapter 42 - Memories Of Light
    Louise's Perspective:

The glass shattering rung in my ear.
I pressed against the ground, breathing heavily.
Ever ytime I'd think of them, I'd go nuts.
    "Who are they?!" I cried.
I have so many memories of them, yet I've only seen them like once.
I punched some more flasks. Glass cut my arm but I ignored the pain.
    "What the hell?!" I yelled.
Another memory with me and that dog. That brown and white dog...
"Whos side do I even belong to?" I murmured.
I kicked a table. Papers flung through the area as more glass shattered to the ground.
    I took some steps back.
Something cold pressed against my back.
Before I could even figure out what it was, rage overlapped my thinking.
I punched what was behind me.
But that's when my heart almost froze.

My body became tense as my mouth was bone dry.
The liquid spread across the ground, falling down the small drain on the ground.
My heart sank down as my stomach turned into knots.
I stared at the yellow, still body on the ground. He breathed slowly.
But after a few seconds, he stopped breathing.
    I began breathing rapidly.
"Oh no... oh crap, oh crap, oh crap." I murmured.
I knew that SnakeHammer would slaughter me.
I took some steps back, still gazing at the body.
I bumped into a bookshelf hard. It began to wobble.
Then it began to fall in my direction.
And before I could react, the world vanished before my eyes as I let out my last breath.

    Xeno's Perspective:
"If I swallow a magnet, will I be attractive?"
I swear, I wanted to cut his tongue off so much.
"I swear to my god Twage," I yelled.
His stupidity was too much for me.
"Twage, just... why are you so dang stupid." Kry sighed.
"What? I think my mind is a great piece of knowledge!" Twage said lightly.
"Well, that piece of knowledge doesn't seem to know anything." Agent S giggled.
The mud began to stick to my arm. The grass was all gone...
For the past few days, the rain was replaced with demons. The trees began to decay, the wind is now not calm and there was no colour to my view.
Just the brown ground, the black trees and the grey sky. No vibrant colours, no melody to the world. Just... nothing.
I shook my head. I'm going off topic.
My stomach began to growl loudly. Everyone turned to me.
"Hungry, right?" Sandy asked as he stretched his legs.
"Mmhmm. Where's Undead? I thought he would be back with food now." I questioned.
"He is a slow guy, give him time." Kry shrugged.

    Finally, Undead came back.
"Been trying to find any animal to kill. Eventually, I did find one, but it is too strong for just one man to kill." He explained.
"We're in, dude." Agent S said as he punched the air.

The creature hissed as it chewed the demon on the ground.
The black blood splattered onto the ground as its teeth dug into its flesh.
It has a long, slender body with its fur covered in a brown texture with yellow stripes on its back.
The tail was long and slender too. The legs were muscular and bulging. They were bent as it continued to eat messily.
The head was small. The ears were pointy and alert with its eyes large and focused on the meat.
Every time it took a bite, the teeth would be covered in black.
    "Majestic," Twage commented.
"I think it's disgusting," Sandy commented.
"Ugly or majestic, it's our dinner." Kry said.
"I wonder if it'll taste like chicken." Twage wondered out loud.

"Xeno, are you sure you can control the axe this time?" Undead questioned.
    "Yeah, yeah," I said.
I took the axe out of my bag. When Mandy saw it, she whimpered.
When I took a step forward, the ears of the creature sprung up and its eyes gazed at me.
Its pupil grew smaller and licked its nose. It took a step towards me.
it then leapt forward at me. I hopped to the side, letting it just miss me. I swung my axe and chopped a bit of its tail off.
It hissed and looked at me again.
"You guys going to help or not?" I called.
"You need to learn to fight, Xeno. You got this." Sandy said.
I was caught off guard as the creature jumped on me and pinned my down with its paw.
"She's going to die! I'm going to help her!" Agent S cried.
    "No," Undead said.
    "What?!" I shouted.
The creature almost bit me. I held the axe in front of me.
    "Xeno, focus," Undead said.
His words entered my mind. I put every distraction in my thought aside and focused on the eyes of the creature.
I kicked its belly with my feet. It fell on its back and struggled for a moment.
I stood back up as it got back on its feet.
    "Focus..." I murmured to myself.
All I heard now was the breeze growing stronger.
It hissed and leapt forward at me again.
This time, I used one hand and swung it against it.
I felt its flesh get sliced.
Once the pressure was gone, I looked at it.
All four of its legs were chopped off. It growled and roared as it tumbled side to side on its belly.
I walked towards it. Its eye was concentrated on me.
I prepared myself for its final cry.

    Louise's Perspective:
I was awoken by the sound of a strong roar.
    My eyes flung open.
I dragged myself out of the bookcase that sat on me.
Finally, it touched the floor. I stood up and took deep breaths.
My mind was blurry. What happened?
Once I noticed the yellow body on the floor, my heart sank again.
What's worst is that I heard the main gate open.
    "Oh, crap." I murmured.
I could hear them chatting as their footsteps got slightly louder.
"Katy, did you really have to spawn that many demons?!" SnakeHammer yelled.
I've got to get out of here before SnakeHammer comes...

I grabbed the Shadaxe on the ground and slammed the door behind me shut.
    "What was that?" Harry questioned.
I pushed a bookcase against the door.
Then I smashed the glass on the wall. A cobweb of lines spawned on the window.
"Louise? Are you in here?" SnakeHammer questioned.
    "Oh shoot." I gasped.
He tried to push the door open.
"Hey! Let me in!" He yelled.
    "CRAP!" I gasped.
That word just slipped out of my mouth. Now they definitely know I'm here.
I smashed the glass again. It finally shattered as glass tapped onto the ground.
"Hey! What are you doing in there?!" Katy shouted.
I leapt out and just kept running. I kept running and running.

The wind breezed past me. I went on my knees and breathed rapidly.
I gazed at the mud below me.
Last week the ground was covered in grass, but it was all gone.
    This world is definitely decaying.
I noticed something lying on the floor close by.
I walked towards it. A creature.
Most of its flesh inside was gone, but there was a few still left at the back.
My stomach let out a growl, reminding me how it has been a day since I've last eaten.
Katy never feeds me, she always feeds Harry, maybe SnakeHammer too. Luckily, Harry would give me some of his food.
But yesterday they only got a few scraps. I let Harry eat the rest of it.
The flesh looked disgusting, yet begging me to eat it.
I went on my knees, focusing on the meat.
    I held my breath.

    "Louise."
I froze before I could take a bite.
I looked up. A man stood there with cooked meat in his hand.
I didn't recognise him at first, but once he came closer, my heart almost froze.
    "I... I remember you." I said.
    He stared at me.
That's when I remember his name.
    "Un...Undead, right?" I asked.
    He nodded.
"Why do I have so many memories of you, yet I don't know if they are real.?" I questioned.
    "They are real." He said.
He handed me the meat. I chomped on it fast.
"You used to be friends with us until you sacrificed yourself to kill Captain Jack. But, somehow you then joined the enemy. Fortunately, your memories seem to be returning, and soon, you'll return back to your old self." He explained.
"But I don't know what my old self was like." I sighed.
"To be honest, you are acting like your old self. All you have to do now is to fully forget the darkness in your mind and trust us." He said.
I gazed at his focused eyes.

    "Now go." He commanded.
    "Go?" I questioned.
"Go, the one you are chasing away from is coming closer," Undead said.
I was about to question how he knew that, but he was right.
I stood up and turned away, but one thing was still waiting to be said.
"I... I wonder if I will join you, but I don't know if Katy is the one I'm supposed to be with." I said.
"You will join the side that is right for you in the end." He answered.
I thought for a second and then turned around, but he was already walking away.
I noticed his group in the distance, talking and chatting near the fire place, how each one of them seemed to not be forgotten from any of them.
The memories of me being with them entered my mind again. I could remember their names again.
"Maybe... I will join you... soon." I murmured.
I then turned around and kept running.
    To Be Continued...

Chapter 43 - The Roar Of The Storm
    Xeno's Perspective:

    Silence cut between us all.
Ever since Agent S stopped using his voice, it began to contaminate our attitudes.
Every time we'd try to drag him in a conversation, he'd ever just refuse to speak or just nod.
Thanks to him, now we're all silent, with only the sound of the fire crackling.
I watched him pick the meat with the stick.
His hands were shaky and slow. Once he got a piece of meat on the end of his stick, he'd wait for it to then fall back down on the stone and repeat the process. He hasn't eaten a single crumb of meat.
Honestly, there shouldn't be anything troubling us. We can take on Katy, get back Louise and just watch what happens next.
He sighed again, interrupting my thoughts. The meat splat on the flat stone again.
His attitude began to irritate me.
Silence doesn't mix well with me, so I wanted to put an end to it.
"Okay, what's your problem, Agent S?" I said.
Everyone looked at me, their eyes wide and bulging.
But Agent S just kept staring at his plate.
"Nothing." He said briefly, still gazing at his meat.
"Nothing? Nothing is bothering you yet you sit there more quiet than a rock and just stare pitifully at your meat. Nothing, huh?" I said with a tone of anger in my voice.
He finally looked at me with his eyelids covering half of his eyes.
    "I said nothing."

"Come on buddy, spit it out," Twage said as he nudged his shoulder.
He remained silent and continued to pick at his meat.
    That's when I snapped.
"Dude, your silence has spread to all of us, and I want to pick an end to it, so just spit it out and we'll go back to normal," I growled.
Finally, his eyelids lifted up and gazed at me with concentration, then looked at all of us.
    "Louise." He murmured.
    "Hmm?" Sandy mumbled.
"What if she never comes back."
"Hey, she recognised Xeno before, surely she'll then remember all of us then realise we are her friends and boom, victory." Kry explained.
"But surely Katy would've realised that her memory is resolving and then wipe her memory out." Agent S said.
"What's with this negative talk?" Sandy questioned.
I looked at Mandy who was staring at the meat. I placed it down letting her gobble it down.
Undead finally came back, with a blank face.
"Where have you been?" Twage asked.
"Oh just went on a stroll and talked with someone." He said.
    "With who?" I questioned.

The growl of the storm cut the conversation.
"Great, probably more demons that'll fall from the clouds. Welp, hurry up and gobble the meat and get your weapons." Undead announced.
Before I could repeat my question, everyone was already getting up and grabbing their weapons.
    I grabbed mine and waited.
    But rain came down.
    "Rain?" Sandy wondered out loud.
"The clouds should've sprayed down demons. What the hell?" Twage gasped.
"Perhaps these clouds aren't natural," Undead suggested.
I looked at him with a confused look, then I realised who could've created these clouds...

    Louise's Perspective:
    Aww crap.
He's right behind me, isn't he?
I kept running, even though my legs were burning.
    "STOP RIGHT NOW!"
I ignored him and kept running.
But I paused once my mind clicked.
    My... friends.
I remembered them all. Kry, Agent S, Twage, Undead, Sandy and Xeno. Plus her dog.
    They were... my friends.
    I needed them.
But before I could run in a different directon, SnakeHammer was caught in my sight.
"SnakeHammer, I know why you are mad. I lost control, but now I'm-"
A lightning shot next to me. I gasped and fell to the ground.
He marched towards me, eyes blazing with anger.
    "YOU BASTARD!"
I rolled to the side, just dodging a lightning.
The ground shivered for a moment.
I tried to get to get yo my feet, until a ball of thunder zapped me.
My body shivered as burning pain rushed around my body, I felt like I was going to vomit.
The pain finally calmed down, but the thunder already drained all my energy.
He grabbed my neck and held it up high.
"YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME! MY HAPPINESS, MY BEST FRIEND, MY DANG LIFE!" He shouted.
    "S-stop." I gasped.
My vision started to go blurry as I tried to grab any grasp of breath.
"YOU LIKE KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE HUH? WELL, THEN ITS MY TURN!"
The clouds growled more as my strength decayed, quickly.
Then I remembered the presence of the Shadaxe in my hand.

I cut his hand. He growled as he let go of me. I rolled to my right, just missing a thunderbolt.
"Snakehammer, you need to calm down!" I said.
    "NEVER!" He shouted.
I observed the black smoke surrounding him.
Katy has done something to him.
Before I could react, a shooting pain was brought to my cheek, then spread to the rest of my body.
My body slammed around as I rolled on the floor, trying to make the pain wither away.
The suffering ended, but all my energy had already vanished.
    "S-snakehammer... my... my memories have-"

A burst of energy stabbed my body. His hand was on my stomach, continuously spawning electricity in my body.
    "ARRGGH!" I screamed.
It was like a hundred knifivesbouncing around you.
I let go of my Shadaxe. I thought I was going to die.
    "Snakehammer, enough."
Even with his hand off, the electricity kept bouncing around inside of me.
    Then it stopped.
I felt so weak, so fragile and worthless. I couldn't move any of my muscles.
I lifted my head slightly, seeing Harry and Katy stand there.
"Snakehammer, though the suffering was very satisfying, killing her would be a waste... at least for now," Katy explained.
He walked over to them, then looked back at me.
    His eyes then changed.

The emotion of realisation hit him like a bullet. He went on his knees, disbelieving what he had just done.
"I.... I can't believe it... I almost killed you. What has possessed me? Why did the darkness take over me." He gasped.
"Because I injected some dark energy into you, dummy," Katy said.
    "What?!" He yelled.
Harry held me up on my feet.
"So what are we going to do to her?" Harry questioned.
    "N-nothing..." I murmured.
"Do nothing to me. I have suffered enough." I murmured again.
    But he didn't hear me.
"Well since Snakehammer said her... 'memories' are being resolved, then it's time to wipe them out again," Katy said.
    "N-no!" I gasped.
Snakehammer still didn't say a word and kept staring at the ground.
"You heard me, come on, back to our base," Katy commanded.
I gazed at Snakehammer. Usually, he would shout something at Harry that'll make him disobey Katy.
But he refused to speak and kept staring at the ground.
"Snakehammer... do something... say something. My memories have been resolved, that's what you have wanted, right?" I whispered.
He looked up to me, his eyes bulging.
    "W-wait, Harry! Don't-"
But we already entered teleportation as the world around me vanished.

    Agent S' Perspective:
The feeling of worry continued to jam my mind.
I just don't get it. Why am I worried?
She is going to be fine. As long as we take away that axe of hers, we'll be all good.
Xeno slammed the door open. Excitement was clearly seen in her eyes.
"Xeno, we have to go in silently and carefully. Once they know we are here, they-"
"Dude, I know. It's just you know, kind of exciting!" Xeno giggled before Undead could finish what he had to say.
"What's so exciting about going into a base. We've already entered a base like 10 times. What makes this one special?" Sandy questioned.
"Maybe because that I'm the leader now instead of Louise, so I get to lead ya'll and stuff," Xeno said cheerfully.
"Well lead us with care then, otherwise I'm leading." Undead sighed.

We were immediately presented with darkness inside the room.
Twage held a fire in his hand, letting light roam free.
Suddenly, a scream echoed through the place.
    "Is that Louise?" I gasped.
"If it is, then let us hurry and find the location around her. Unfortunately, this place is pretty much a maze." Undead explained.
    We decided to split up.
I slowly pressed the door open. It screeched as I was presented with shock.
Shelves were knocked over with shattered glass all over the floor. A cyropod stood in front of me with someone in it.
Then I noticed blue liquid on the ground and a yellow body on the floor.
    I slowly walked towards it.
I held it up and examined its body.
    "Pikachu."
That name slipped out of my mouth like a snake.
Dead, but why was he here?
I looked at the shattered glass. A piece of glass had something written on it.
    It said Pikachu.
So someone tried to save him, but it failed.
    Most likely Snakehammer.

I walked to the cyropod in front of me. I wiped the fog on it.
    "Blab," I said.
My memories of her were no longer blurry. I could remember her smile, her face, her voice.
I turned around once I heard footsteps.
Xeno stood there and looked past me.
    "Who is that?" She questioned.
    "Blab," I answered.
"Wait... isn't that the girl who used to be in our group?"
    I nodded.
Mandy hopped out of her backpack and sniffed the glass.
She walked up to it, examining her.
"Heh, heard heaps about her. Looks prettier than I imagined." She chuckled.
"So did Captain Jack try to preserve her life?" She asked.
"Before he died, probably. But it's possible that Snakehammer is now trying to awake her."

    "ARRRGGGHHH! NO! STOP IT!"
"Dammit, we're going off topic!" Xeno gasped.
Mandy hopped back in her backpack and began barking.
    Kry than came storming in.
He didn't bother to look at Blab or the damage in here.
"Guys! What are you doing? Louise is in trouble!" He shouted.
We stormed out of the room and rejoined with the rest of the group.
They were running down the hallway, looking past the rooms.
"Where are they? I was sure the scream came from down here." Sandy said.
I stopped once I heard a door close.

I walked in and examined the place.
A chair with a table next to it with heaps of needles in it. Some still had some dark liquid inside.
Everyone came in the room and gazed at their surroundings too.
The feeling of worry returned in my head.
"They must've just been in this room." Kry said.
Undead picked up a needle and inspected it.
"I'm afraid it's too late..." He said softly.
    "Hmm?" I mumbled.
"It is most likely that the remains in this needle had been injected in Louise. I could sense her dark energy, close by." He said.

"If you want her back, come outside and prepare for chaos." Katy's voice boomed through the speakers.
    To Be Continued...
Once again, the story will be ending in chapter 45. The support throughout all my stories had been amazing. Thanks to all the support, I'm now confident enough to move to a bigger website to continue my dream of being an author.

Forgot to mention that the character Pikachu is not created by me and belongs to Nintendo. Just wanted to point this out cause of copyright or some s***.

    Chapter 44 - Darkness Awakens
    Xeno's Perspective:

The door slowly creaked open. A breeze was presented once I stepped outside.
I stood there, listening to everyone's footsteps behind me, how many steps of strength they've overcome.
Then I saw them, in front of the same crack that Louise fell in.
    Katy... Harry... SnakeHammer... and Louise.
Mandy stood next to me and gazed at me with pulsing eyes, ready for our next step.
I held the axe in my hand tight to preserve my power and anger.
Katy stepped forward towards us and clapped her hands.
"Ladies and gentlemen... it is a pleasure to be here." She announced.
"Now... we have all come far with strength and glory... but one of our sides will fall with defeat... and I'm sure it will be your side." She added
"You have all come a long way... now watch as it will all come to a waste."
She turned around and looked at Louise. She gave her a blank stare. No smile, no movement.
    They have definitely changed her.

Louise walked forward, staring at me.
"Guys... please... stay with me." I murmured.
She then leaps forward with the Shadaxe in her hand.
I pulled out my axe and held it in front of me, causing a shrieking sound once the weapons collided.
Twage then sprays fire at her, but she back flips, avoiding the glooming flames.
Agent S began shooting arrows at her rapidly, but she swings her axe at every single one them, causing them all to shoot to the ground.
Katy then charges forward. Fortunately, Undead sweeps in with his sword, almost stabbing her.
The breeze began to roar more.
Louise leaps forward, but I jump out of the way.
She steps her foot on the wall behind me and jumps forward again. I swing my axe towards her, but she just misses it but going under it and sliding behind me.
Before I could react, a striking pain appeared on my back.
I tumble over on the ground, holding onto my back.
I gaze at my hand, and blood covered all over it.
I roll out of the way, just missing her pinning me down.
Mandy and Sandy jump on her chest, causing her to fall as they bite her flesh.
Kry assists me as I tried to get up.
    "You good?" He asks.
"Yeah, just take out Harry and SnakeHammer," I instructed.
He nodded and ran towards Harry and SnakeHammer.

    SnakeHammer's Perspective:
I shot a weak lightning at Kry, but he hops over it.
"What kind of shot was that?" Harry growled.
I sighed. No, I can't let myself get carried away again like what happened to Louise.
Harry sprayed fire at Kry, but he rolls out of the way and swings his sword towards us.
"Shoot a lightning at him dammit!" Harry shouted.
I shoot another weak lightning towards him, purposely missing him.
Harry then pushes me on the ground.
    "Useless!" He cried.
Then he continues to spray fire at Kry.
    This time, he got him.
He rolled on the ground as fire danced on his body. Undead then rushes to him and slaps the fire away.
I noticed a fireball charging up in his hand.
    "No..." I murmured.
    "Goodbye." He giggled.
    "NO!" I shouted.
I was done being on Katy's side.

He screamed in pain and rolled around. Kry and Undead gazed at me.
"You... you got him." Kry gasped.
"I'm done with them," I announced.
    Katy began running towards them.
I stood in front of them and punched her on the cheek. She wiped away the blood on her lip and stared at me with disbelief.
"How... how dare you... I should've known you'd turn against me, after disobeying everything I say." She hissed.
She swings her sword towards me, but I block it with my arm.
"W-what? What are you made of?" She gasped.
I chop the sword in half with my hand, causing metal to shatter on the ground.
"You did say you inserted some dark energy into me." I shrugged.
She growls and tries to punch me, but I spin and kick her at the face.
She falls to the ground and gazes at me again.
    "Why... WHY?!" She cries.
But her expression changes to a big grin.
Katy looks up in the sky and smiles once she hears the thunders above growl
"All well... I've got an army anyway." She laughs.
The clouds growl and shriek again. The blanket of grey clouds covered the sky and began to spit down demons to the ground.
    "Have fun." She giggles.
I punched her again, knocking her out.

The demons surrounded us, all crouched over or crawling on the ground.
"Can we handle this many?" Undead questions.
"I can. Just give me a minute." I said.
I begin to prepare a great storm to electric all these idiots.
But that move was put on hold.
I fall to the ground with a burning pain on my hip.
Louise stood there with a stain of blood on the tip of the axe.
"Surrender now or die." She commands.
She then freezes once she feels the tip of an arrow hit her back.
She turns around and gazes at Agent S who waves awkwardly.
Louise grabs the arrow on her back and pulls it out, letting blood spray onto me.
She throws the arrow towards him but he takes a step away.
Agent S smiles awkwardly then rushed to Twage and stood behind him.
    "Do something, man!" He cries.
Twage sprays poisonous, green gas towards her.
But once she swipes the air with her axe, the gas flies past her.
She walks towards them then begins to run.
Luckily, my strength had already been rebuilt.

The thunder shouts and screams and sends hundreds of lightning bolts down, killing all the demons.
They all shriek and cry, but soon all the tears were gone and laid on the ground peacefully.
I stood up as Louise stared at me with a blank expression.
She takes a step forward and prepares to stab me.
I spawn one last lightning to finish her off.

    Louise's Perspective:
    "So... you made it."
I looked at him as he smoked his cigar.
    "Yeah..." I murmured
He takes a step forward and smiles, showing off his yellow, gross teeth.
"Funny how Katy somehow controlled both of us."
    I nodded.
"Once you awake, you know what you have to do."
    "What... do I do?"
    "You awaken me too."
I froze in my spot, gazing at his cheerful eyes.
"Why... you've put my friends and I through so much suffering. Why must we revive you."
He then gazes up in the black sky above us then looked around as the darkness surrounding us.
"Look up in the sky and you'll see...
then look in your mind and you'll know you'll need me."

    I then remember my friends...
    Kry...
    Agent S...
    Twage...
    Undead...
    Sandy...
    Xeno and her dog, Mandy...

    "Okay... I'm ready."
He bows then dropped his cigar.
"Awaken, then, I look forward to seeing your friends again."
Then I remembered his name. Captain Jack.
The darkness then disappears as the light engulfs my surroundings and return to the real world.

Once I returned, I sat up and observed them all, standing front of me.
"Guys... I'm back." I said as I smiled.
All their smiles then lit up.
I noticed Katyslowlyly walking towards me with a small knife.
Harry then leaps in front of her.
"It's the end of the road for you." Harry said.
    "Oh really..."

He gasps and falls to the ground as his blood spread across the orange grass.
She looks at her knife gladly and drops it.
SnakeHammer hurries to him and shakes his head.
    "Harry!" He calls.
He opens his eyes and smile as blood dripped down his lips.
Sandy and Mandy then jumped at Katy and began biting her to keep her busy.
"Heh... I finally disobeyed her... took long enough." He chuckled.
"Listen... whatever you do... protect your new friends, they are the people you should trust... forever." He whispered.
Then he closes his eyes and rests in peace for eternity.

I gaze at the fire place as we all sat around it. No one spoke.
"So... what happened while I was gone?" I asked.
They gazed at me and frowned.
"Well... you went crazy, Katy controlled you, Xeno got your old axe and... yeah." Sandy explained.
I looked at Xeno with the axe sitting beside her.
"Huh. Thought that got burned to shreds." I commented.
Then silence engulfed us again. SnakeHammer was still gone, probably still taking care of Katy to keep her away from us.
"So... looks like you finally know who you really are."
I looked at Undead, staring at the fire.
"What do you mean?" Agent S asked.
"You've been through all your memories. Soon we'll have to go to the present and... revive him."
    "Revive him? Why?!" Xeno gasped.
I looked up at the sky and noticed a shining planet.
    "To protect his planet."
Everyone looked up too and noticed the planet too.
"He created that planet?" Twage questioned.
    "Yeah." I answered.
"So we need him alive to preserve his planet. But why did he make it?" Kry asked.
"Because this planet is dead. He wants to restart everything and make the world at peace." Undead discussed.
"Huh... that makes sense." Agent S shrugged and continued to nibble on his meat.

I observed everyone. They all looked at me.
"Thanks... for always standing by me."
It took a lot of courage to say that, but it was worth it once everyone smiled.
"Glad to be of service." Kry said.
"Hey, no problem!" Agent S cheered
"Don't sweat it, girl!" Twage laughed.
"I'll always stand by you," Sandy said softly.
"I am your master, it is my duty to protect you." Undead discussed.
"You don't have to thank us." Xeno chuckled.
    Mandy also barked cheerfully.
I let out a chuckle, feeling a flood of happiness come to me.

SnakeHammer came back, looking slightly tired.
"I buried Harry and well Katy vanished somewhere.
There is also something you all need to see... right now."
I stood up and nodded, accepting his command.
We stood near the crack. Man, I remember this place.
SnakeHammer began to climb down the ladder.
"Well... here we go." I commented.

I hopped onto the ground as Twage held a flame in his hand.
"Huh. I recognise this place." Twage commented.
SnakeHammer continued to walk away. I continued to follow.
"Are we going somewhere dangerous?" Sandy questioned.
    He refused to answer.
"Well if it is... then be prepared," Sandy added.
I held out my Shadaxe. Wait, I should just call it an axe.
We stumbled upon a tunnel. SnakeHammer doesn't hesitate and continues walking in.
    "What is this?" Kry questioned.
    "Someone's grave," Snakehammer answered.
A chill crawled down my spine as my lip went dry.
I'm pretty sure I knew who's grave this was.

Before I entered, Xeno stopped me.
"I believe this belongs to you."
She held out my old axe. Heh, it still shined like the first time I used it.
"Keep it, I've already got an axe," I said.
"B-but I can't use this! It belongs to you!" She gasped.
    "You've used it before, right?"
She looked at the axe again and let out a small chuckle.
"I guess you're right." She sighed.
"Whatever is up ahead I'll help you no matter what! With this weapon, I am your shield!" She cheered.
Mandy barked with glee as well.
    I smiled then turned around.
    This is it.

'I will be with you soon... continue your legacy... be brave... and please remember not to try and kill my father.' Someone whispered in my mind as I walked in.
    To Be Continued...
I just want to state that this story was for fun and is not to be taken seriously. There are small parts in this story that are similar to some parts in games which is just supposed to be an easter egg.
Thank you all for the long journey. It has taken around 10 months to complete this story, and now, it shall finally end. May my skills in writing continue to grow thanks to all the support.
    Thanks For Reading!!! :D
