Chapter 31 - To The Surface

    I saw him.
I saw him walk into that room, how the bricks had no texture and the hallway looked infinite.
He looked at me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me in.
"There is more meaning behind my feelings..." He whispered.
My mind became empty. I couldn't speak or think.
"You don't have to be afraid."
My throat felt blocked. I tried to breathe but my lungs still felt like a graveyard.
I walked forward. My breath felt cold.
The darkness at the end of the room slowly vanished when I got closer.
The more I walked, the more the walls then got closer.
All I heard was the heartbeat of my footsteps.
Then I saw a cyro pod.
Its presence accentuated the dark mood of the room.
My breath felt cold as my fingers shivered.
The glass was fogged. I wiped the glass and looked closely.
"This may explain a lot to you." He sighed.
I pressed my face on the glass, and a very faint shape began to form.
    A body.

I woke up, breathing heavily. Sweat dripped down my face as my hands shivered.
I looked around. Everyone was still asleep, including Sandy.
I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling.
    Then I heard screeching.
I stood up, and there was already a large hole in the ceiling... we're too late.
"Guy's, get up! Come on!" I shouted.
They slowly got up, yawning and groaning.
    "What's happening..." Twage yawned.
"The hole to the surface of the planet is already open!" I exclaimed.
    "What?! Already?!" Sandy yelped.
    "Pika pikaaa?!" Pikachu screeched.
Everyone got to their feet and began to panic.
I noticed the large beast, flapping it's wings, beginning to fly into the air.
I ran forward. I heard everyone else's footsteps follow mine.
"We must reach the beast before it can escape!" Agent S gasped.
We reached the beast. I grabbed onto one of its spikes on it's back.
Everyone grabbed on and then flapped it's wings in the air.
It flew into the ceiling. I looked to my left and noticed demons flying with us.
I saw rocks on the walls and dirt. Then I saw the grass and trees.
The beast landed. We jumped off. Undead raised his hand and spawned the portal.
"Wait... something isn't right," Kry said.
"Where are these demons going anyway?" He added.
Sandy flew into the air and flapped his wings. I noticed all the demons flying in the same direction.

He flew back to the ground and looked at me with a worried look.
"There all going to a village..." Sandy explained.
"We shouldn't leave the village to suffer!" Xeno exclaimed.
"We have to escape! The next world awaits!" Kry shouted.
"So what? What if Captain Jack then kidnaps the people in the village and turns them all into Gods?" Sandy hissed.
I remained silent. I could imagine his army of Gods, burning us to ashes.
"We cannot let him form his army of Gods," I said.
    "But-"
    "Kry..." Undead sighed.
Kry bit his lips and crossed his arms.
I heard the demons screeching and hissing.
"We don't have time!" I yelled.
I then followed the demons above.

    Fire blazed on the huts.
    People ran in every direction.
    People screamed as demons screeched.
I felt the heat gently press my skin.
I dug my hand in my backpack. I felt the smooth handle of my axe.
I remembered how I went crazy when I last held the axe, how I wanted more death and destruction.
A person fell to the ground as the demon bit and scratched its face.
I pulled the axe out and leaped on the demon.
I stabbed it right through it's back and flung it across the floor.

Blood began to spread across the ground. Huts were collapsing and turning to ashes.
But I wanted more blood, more stabbing, more... death.
I sliced a demons wing that flew above me. It crashed to the floor and screeched. I chopped its head off. Black blood oozed out.
Suddenly, I felt a spring of strength spread across my body.
I leaped onto the roof of a hut and kicked a demon off and slashed a demons back.
However, the fire on the walls of the hut began to chew away the huts strength. The roof slightly tilted to the side.
I almost fell, but I managed to steady my balance.
I grabbed onto the leg of a flying demon. It hissed and began to fly faster.
It flicked its feet, but I kept holding on.
Then I let go and crashed on a demon.
Cold, red, slender fingers curled around my neck.
Suddenly, a loud screech rung my ears while the fingers slipped from my neck.
I turned around, and the demon had fire dancing in his body.
I looked to my right, and my group arrived. Twage smiled while a fireball sat in his hand.
I heard a loud hiss from above. I looked up, and a demon with wings was about to fall on me with its claws pointed towards me.
Luckily, Sandy leaped right on it. It fell to the ground as Sandy began to fight it with his claws.
A loud gunshot spawned silence to the war zone.
All the demons froze. The only sound I could hear now was the fire blazing.
Then, out of the smoke was Captain Jack, Katy, Harry, and SnakeHammer.

SnakeHammer had cuts and bruises on his face and arms. He frowned and looked down.
"Jeez, these demons are useless, and you thought this plan would work you donk!" Katy hissed at Captain Jack.
"This was just a test." Captain Jack answered.
    "A test?" I said.
"What kind of test?" Xeno questioned.
"A test that has tested the strength in that axe... how easily it can fool a mind to make it think that death and destruction are the keys to peace." Captain Jack explained.
"So we can either do this... you hand the axe to me and we'll leave... or we kill you for that axe." He added.
"You can choose the easy way... or the hard way," Harry commented.
Captain Jack took a step forward. I took a step back.
A fireball rushed past his face.
"Twage! You bloody block head!" Agent S shouted.
"Dude, I tried to aim!" Twage argued.
"I see you want to do it the hard way, huh." Captain Jack said.
I saw his hand reach the pistol on his belt.
He held it out as quick as light, but before he could shoot, a lightning zapped him.
    He fell to the ground.
    "Pika Pika chu!" Pikachu giggled.
"Kill them! Every single one of them! I want their heads chopped off and burned to ashes!" Katy yelled.
Harry sprayed fire at us. Undead spawned a shield. Twage threw fireballs at Katy while Pikachu tried to shoot lightning at Harry.
I noticed SnakeHammer standing there, holding onto the wound of his arm.
"SnakeHammer, hurry up and do something you useless pig!" Katy shouted.
She then ducked to the ground and rolled to the right, avoiding the attacks.
    "SnakeHammer!" She hissed.
He sighed and shot a lightning at the shield, causing it to shatter.
    "Ahhh snap..." Undead said.

"Oh, you have to do more than THAT!" Katy hissed.
"Can't you see I'm hurt! If I continue attacking, all my energy will go and I'll probably die!" SnakeHammer argued.
"Wait... if he uses too many spells at once... he can die?" I gasped.
"It's the same with me you know," Twage answered.
    "Same here..." Undead sighed.
"SnakeHammer... I don't care about your health... all I care about is death, and soon you'll be the one that'll face death unless you follow my commands! Captain Jack is unconscious because you just stood there like an idiot! Now use your spells on them or I'll kill you MYSELF!" Katy commanded angrily.
He narrowed his eyes and pushed her away.
A ball of lightning formed in his hands.
    Then it headed towards us.
I quickly ducked out of the way.
"You useless waste of space... I'll do this myself then!" Katy hissed.
She grabbed her spear on the ground. She charged forward then threw it.
I rolled to my right while soil clogged up my nose.
    Suddenly, I heard a screech.
I stood up and turned around.
The spear was in Pikachu's left shoulder.

    "PIKACHU!" Agent S gasped.
He rushed towards him and held him. He was unconscious.
    "You damn idiot!" SnakeHammer shouted.
"What? You don't want them dead? That's why we're here! If you are on their side, then you'll reach your grave before you can reach them!" Katy hissed.
"Hold up guys, I can stop the bleeding, just let me have some space," Xeno said.
Mandy whimpered as she sniffed Pikachu.
"Katy... do you remember our plan?"
I turned around, and Captain Jack was walking towards her.
"Of course I remember the plan! It was to kill them, like always." Katy said.
"No, it was to turn them into Gods! Killing them would be a waste! I know I want to kill them as much as you do, but turning them into Gods would give me so much power and wealth." Captain Jack explained.
"Pfff, we don't need them on our side! Killing them would solve all our problems!" Katy laughed.
He frowned then walked past her.
The outline of an arch formed, then an arch made of stone appeared with a purple vortex inside.
"We'll see you all in the next world... but be prepared for my new army... and soon you'll all be a part of it!" He giggled.
    He hopped inside the portal.
"You'll be dead before you'll be in our army, haha!" Katy laughed.
She then hopped into the portal.
Harry leaped into the portal without a word.
    Then SnakeHammer looked at us.
"Please... take care of Pikachu... I may have to kill the rest of you, but you better take care of him!" He commanded.
"Well if Captain Jack gets off our back, then we will be able to take care of him," Sandy said.
He sighed and turned to the portal.
    "Take care." He added.
Then he hopped into the portal.

Hours past. Only silence filled the empty zone.
Everyone was helping the remaining villagers while Xeno and Agent S kept working on Pikachu's wound.
I walked towards her. I patted Mandy's head and looked at his shoulder.
A stain of blood remained on the bandage around his shoulder.
I stared at his chest, slowly rising and falling.
The spear beside him. Blood was on the tip of the spear.
"He lost quite a lot of blood... but he'll be okay." She said.
I heard Agent S sniff and wipe his eyes.
    "He'll be fine Agent S..." I said.
"I know... just... arg that Katy really is nuts! More nuts than Twage!" He hissed.
Sandy then arrived with a bucket of water with the handle in his teeth.
He placed the bucket down and walked towards Pikachu.
"Sandy, do you need some help?" I asked.
"I think we're fine right now. I'm just looking for any more small flames in the village. Kry, Twage and Undead are helping any wounded villagers and also fixing the huts and buildings." He explained.
"Okay. You keep looking out for any more fires that are hidden around this place." Xeno commanded.
He nodded and held the handle of the bucket with his teeth and flew away.

Another hour past. The rest of the group then arrived.
"All the villagers are safe now. They'll be able to rebuild the rest of the village." Kry explained.
Undead sat on the ground and sighed. He wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"It was difficult since none of them spoke English... but we managed." He sighed.
"Should we go to the next world now?" Twage questioned.
"I think it's about time to leave Hell," Kry answered.

    The portal was opened.
Everyone leaped in, except for Agent S.
"Come on, everyone's waiting for you," I said.
Then I noticed Pikachu behind his arms.
"Quite a tough world for little guys like him." He said.
    I nodded.
"Promise me that you'll help me protect him from Captain Jacks group." He said.
    "I will... we all will...
    SnakeHammer too." I said.
He nodded as he looked at Pikachu.
He then walked into the portal.
Before I entered, I turned around and examined my view.
I saw the huts, how some of the roofs were burned down and some of the walls still had stains of blood.
I held my axe out and stared at it.
    Then I entered the portal.
    To Be Continued...
We are now up to the 8th world, which means 2 more worlds remain to be discovered, until the end of this series.

    Chapter 32 - Shadows
When I first stepped onto the ground, it felt hard.
The smell was smokey. Every time I breathed I felt dust go into my nose.
The sky was dust, filled with smoke and dust.
The trees were no longer green. The wood on its trunk is dark, almost black. All the leaves were gone. The branches were sharper and had thorns on each neck.
This world was much more sinister, welcoming me with death and darkness.
I could hear the heavy breathing from behind me. I was sure they were feeling tension too.
"This world creeps me out..." Twage gulped.
"What the hell is this planet?" Sandy questioned.
"This planet used to be filled with lush grass, green and light... but like usual, the work of Captain Jack destroyed it all, sucking the life out of every living thing and every ray of light." Undead explained.
"I swear to god Undead, how do you know all this stuff?" Agent S said.
"Don't you remember? This is the past. We are in Louise's memories. I've been in every single one of these worlds. So I remember almost every single event that happens, but the future can change." Undead answered.
"Also, Captain Jack has a new army." Undead added.
"You've got to be kidding." Kry murmured.
I quickly turned around in shock.
"What army? Who's in this army? Gods? Demons?" I gasped.
"Something more darker and mysterious..." He sighed.
He sat down, looking at the ground.
I examined my view once more. Not a single grasp of green was seen, apart from the booger in Twage's nose.
I heard Mandy whimper. She then crawled into Xeno's backpack.
Xeno licked a lollipop. She then threw it on the ground.
But then, it started to melt into the ground...

    "Uh..." Xeno said.
I dug my hand into my pocket. I dropped a crumb onto the ground.
The same thing happened. The crumb just melted into the ground.
"That is not how the ground works," Sandy commented.
"Then what are we standing on..." Kry gasped.
I looked closely at the ground.
A dark shape began to form on the ground.
It had a round body, like an oval that was like a foggy smoke.
Two arms sat on each side of the body with sharp claws.
    upload_2016-11-25_11-44-3.png
Its shape was foggy, almost smokey. It's such a strange creature.
    "What... is that?" I gasped.
"I have no idea... some kind of body trapped from below?" Agent S suggested.
I rubbed my eyes and looked at the ground again, and it was still there.
I looked at Twage, who had a flame hovering in the palm of his hand.
    "Don't-"
But the fire was already blazing on the creature.
    But it did no harm.
Instead, the creature waddled towards us.
Then, I heard a loud, screech.
    It grabbed my leg.

It began to pull. My foot was now into the ground.
Xeno grabbed onto me and pulled. I felt my stomach stretch. I felt sick.
It finally let go, and I fell onto Xeno.
    "What IS that?!" I cried.
"Its trying to pull us into its dimension... a dimension of chaos!" Kry gasped.
    It then grabbed Sandy.
That's when I grabbed my axe.
I stabbed it into the ground. It screeched.
It's arms started to vanish, then its body died.
I look at my axe. The tip of it released a hint of smoke.
"So only that axe can kill it..." Sandy said.
I gulped and bit my lip.
"Are you saying that Captain Jack's army are these little things?" Kry said.
    "Most likely." Undead said.
    Then Kry burst out laughing.
"You can't be serious! These things are so pathetic." He laughed.
"Don't judge them too early, because Captain Jack can then make them stronger over time." I sighed.
"True, but just look at them! They look like they just want to tickle us." Kry chuckled.
Suddenly, a crowd of faint screeching echoed through the air.
"I don't think you should laugh now Kry..." Xeno commented.
On the very top of the hill was an army of the creatures.

    SnakeHammer's Perspective:
    He was going nuts.
"It's magnificent! Look at them!" He exclaimed as he looked at the creature on the ground.
"I'm so confused on how these creatures work," Katy said.
"You see, this planet has a new atom that is found in the shadow of something. It is formed when rays of light can't reach it, forming the atom to then follow the protection against the sun. So I got the atom into a creature and made them immune to everything, including the sun!" He explained.
"That is so confusing... but I like it!" Katy chuckled.
    "Immune to everything?" I said.
He nodded and observed the creature again.
"What about that axe Louise has," Harry suggested.
He then paused and turned around.
"That is the only thing that can kill them. We must retrieve it and use it on our own... unless..." Captain Jack paused.
He walked to the rack of ancient weapons on the wall.
He grabbed the rod with a dark gem on top of it.
"Perhaps I could place the atom inside the gem and cause it to spawn these creatures whenever... I'll even add a hint of dark magic to destroy that axe... yes... YES!" He explained.
    "That sounds amazing!" Katy cheered.
I leant against the wall and looked away.
"Snakehammer... you wouldn't want to be a Shadow too, would you?" Captain Jack whispered.
    "Shadow?" I gasped.
"That will be the creatures names... cute, right?" He giggled.
I crossed my arms and looked away.
"You better start treating me like a leader young man... otherwise, you can wave goodbye to life and instead say hello to death. Got that?" He hissed.
    "Yes, sir..." I sighed.
"Good. Now... Harry, into the lab with me! We shall add the atom into the gem." He commanded.
They left the room. Katy stared at me with a look.
She grabbed my throat and held it against the wall.
"You better start actually acting like a good boy, okay little Snakey?" She giggled.
    I coughed and gagged.
"Now the next time we meet Louise's group... kill them without hesitation. If not, then I'll kill YOU." She hissed.
My view started to get darker while my lungs felt empty.
She then let go. I gasped as I laid on the ground.
I knew that I had to kill Louise this time, even though I shouldn't...

    Louise's Perspective:
"Okay, I guess they aren't so funny anymore..." Kry sighed.
I stared at my view. We were in a cave in a small mountain. I saw the creatures scatter around the zone.
"We almost got killed you know..." Sandy said.
I looked to my right. He sat there next to me, scratching his ear with his foot
"Don't feel so bad. I know you tried to kill them with your axe," He added.
I sighed and stared at the sunset.
"I was scared that I was going to go crazy. Once I swing the axe once, I don't stop until everything is dead. I'm worried i might accidentally kill all of you." I explained.
He licked my hand and looked at me.
"I'm sure you can't go crazy." He said.
Then I heard shouting from inside.
I turned around and entered the cave.
"I said he's fine!" Xeno shouted.
"Fine? He hasn't woken up for hours!" Agent S argued.
"I covered the wound. Do you think he'd wake up after a minute, all energised and happy like a daisy? It takes time for the wound to heal you know!" Xeno shouted.
Mandy began to bark and growl.
    "That's enough." Undead growled.
"I'm... I'm just worried about him okay?! Don't you understand the stress I'm having?!" He said.
I noticed a tear roll down his cheek. My eyes widened.
He wiped his face and turned around. He shoved past me and sat on the cliff.
"What's up with him?" I questioned.
"He's just worried. I'm sure he didn't mean to pounce like that." Twage said.

Suddenly, the sound of screeching returned.
    Agent S rushed in.
"They're coming... the... the creatures!" He gasped.
I dug my hand into my backpack. I then paused when I felt the cold, smooth handle press against my finger.
"Take the axe out!" Kry demanded.
    "I'll go nuts!" I argued.
    I paused and breathed rapidly.
The creatures then crawled in, moving swiftly.
I got the axe out and stabbed it into the ground, kill the creature.
I chopped the ground again. I didn't even stop when I had no energy.
I kept stabbing and striking. The creatures kept coming.
"Where are they all coming from?" Sandy gasped.
The creatures then turned back out of the cave.
But I didn't let them escape.
I then stabbed the axe into the ground. The ground then shivered.
A large crack appeared. It crawled towards the creature.
All the creatures vanished, while the crack remained.
I then turned around and leapt forward towards my friends.
Kry then punched me. I fell to the ground, letting go of my axe.
    I gasped and coughed.
"What... what is happening to you." Sandy gasped.
    "I... I don't know." I murmured.
    "I told you I would've gone crazy!" I warned.
I slowly got my feet. My body felt heavy but empty at the same time.
Sandy sniffed the axe on the ground. Smoke began to hover around it.

"I think we should destroy it." Kry suggested.
    "No." I yelped.
"It exists to kill us!" Agent S argued.
"But it protects us too!" I shouted.
"It just wants to death, not life." Twage sighed.
I paused and bit my lip.
"You can't keep it..." Kry sighed.
    "No..." I murmured.
I looked at the axe again.
"Perhaps there is another solution instead of removing it." Undead suggested.
He walked forward and picked up the axe. He examined it for a moment then placed it back down.
"Perhaps we could remove the dark energy inside if it, causing it to just be a normal weapon." He explained.
"There is a slight problem, though..." Undead paused.
"Removing the dark energy will then cause it to not destroy the Shadows." He added.
    "Shadows?" I questioned.
    "Basically the creatures," Xeno answered.
"So we've got a choice... keep the weapon as it is, or remove the dark energy." Undead said.
I looked around. Everyone seemed confused.

"I think we should keep it as it is," I answered.
    Everyone stared at me.
"The Shadows would then kill us without this weapon. I'll try and control it... Undead, you can try and train me to control it, right?" I explained.
    He nodded and stepped forward.
"Anyone have any complaints?" Undead asked.
"How exactly can you control it... it has a mind of its own!" Twage exclaimed.
"I know a way." Undead said.
He picked up the axe and walked towards the exit.
"I'll be back." He said mysteriously.
A portal openned. He hopped inside, causing the portal to then vanish.
"Exactly WHERE is he going with that axe?" Sandy gasped.
"Who knows... lets just sleep. Twage, you better not snore otherwise I'll shove a tomato down your throat." Xeno hissed.
"Don't you dare touch my tomatoes..." He cursed.
I laid on the floor. I shivered when I felt the breeze press against my skin.
I tried to close my eyes, but they were wide open.
I walked out and sat on the cliff. I shivered when the breeze pressed against my skin.
Then I felt something warm press against my back.
I looked behind, and noticed a jacket on my back.
Then Xeno sat next to me.

"You didn't have to give me this jacket." I said.
"Don't worry, I'm not cold." She winked.
"You know... you remind me of someone." I commented.
She looked at me with a confused look.
    "Who?" She questioned.
    "I don't know... someone who's gone." I sighed.
    "Gone?"
"I think her name started with a B..."
"Well whoever it is, I hope you find them again."
    "But... there gone... like, forever."
I then paused and stared at the moon.
"I'm sure there is a way to find them..." Xeno said.
She then yawned and walked back into the cave.
I then laid on my back, staring at the moon above me.
"Please... come back..." I murmured to myself.

Chapter 33 - An Axe Or Sword
    My mind was empty.
I still haven't slept, and the sun was beginning to rise.
    I just couldn't think.
    What was its name?
    It started with a B, but I still didn't have a clue.
    I promised I wouldn't forget its name...
I had to kill some time.
I slid down the small mountain and stood on the muddy ground.
I held my axe in front of me. I noticed my reflection on its blade.
I had to control its power.
I swung the axe on the trunk of a tree. I kept swinging like my arms had a mind of its own.
    I tried to stop, but I couldn't.
    Then I heard some cracking.
The tree tilted and smashed to the ground, shaking the ground for a second.
I threw the axe to the ground and sat.
    I heard a screeching whisper.

    'Darknesss....'
I looked at the axe. Smoke formed around it.
    My eyes widened.
    'Daarknessssss...'
    My view began to fade.
    "Louise."
My mind snapped. I breathed heavily.
Xeno stood there with Mandy beside her.
I looked at the axe again. The smoke had vanished.
"You need to sleep." She suggested.
"I need to control that axe," I explained.
    "You... you can't." She sighed.
Mandy walked towards me and sniffed my hand.
"There must be a way," I said.
    She shook her head.
"You should probably give some space to that axe you know." She shrugged.
"Just try not to use it, alright? For our sake." She added.
I sighed then grabbed the axe.
I shoved it in my backpack and looked at the fallen tree.
"It's not only destroying your surroundings, it's destroying you," Xeno said.
We walked back to the mountain and climbed the rope hanging from the cliff.
    Everyone was still asleep.
"Maybe don't mention that tree you destroyed to the others, it may concern them and even convince them to destroy the axe." She suggested.
I nodded and sat on the cliff again.

I was awakened by a shrieking.
I stood up and observed my view.
The Shadows have now learnt to walk on steep surfaces.
    I quickly ran inside.
"The Shadows have returned!" I gasped.
Everyone got up and began panicking.
"How do we kill them?" Twage asked.
    Then my heart sank.
I knew I had to try not to use the axe...
Xeno looked at me. She had a worried face.
I heard the shrieking get louder.
    My mind was shaking.
    "Use it!" Agent S shouted.
"No! She'll go crazy and possibly kill us!" Kry argued.
"But we will die anyway, she can control it, right?" Agent S said.
I bit my lip. That's when rage built up.
I dug my hand in my backpack.
    "Louise..." Sandy gasped.
I held the axe in my hand. The Shadows crawled closer.
I threw the axe to the ground, killing some of the Shadows.
    "I can't use it anymore!" I screamed.
The rest of the Shadows then grabbed the axe. It began to get buried into the ground.
Then it turned black and was a shadow in the ground.
One of the Shadows held it. They then all crawled away.
"All they wanted was that axe? Why? Why would they want something that kills them?" Sandy questioned.
"Perhaps to try and use it." Undead said.
    "How?" Kry said.
"It's most likely that these Shadows have a master." Undead answered.

    SnakeHammers view:
"They should have returned by now!" Captain Jack shouted.
I sighed as I leant against the wall.
"That stupid axe probably destroyed them all." Katy hissed.
    "Patience," Harry said.
Katy continued to chew on her bubblegum.
    I then heard shrieking.
    "Oh no..." I murmured.
    "Oh yes!" Captain Jack laughed.
The Shadows crawled towards us. One of the Shadows was holding something.
"Whats that Shadow holding?" I questioned.
    "It can't be..." Harry gasped.
"Yes! They have obtained the axe! Oh, what great news!" He chuckled.
"We should turn the Shadow back to its previous form to see who got the axe," Harry suggested.
"Yes, yes. Of course." Captain Jack laughed.
He held out his new rod. The red gem at the end of the rod shined brightly.
"Where did you get that rod?" I asked.
    "I created it." He answered.
I gulped as he walked towards the Shadow.
He tapped the gem on the Shadow. It began to grow above the ground.
I saw the face, but I didn't recognise it. The tip of the axe was then shown.
"It's the real axe!" Katy exclaimed.
Once the body's feet was above the ground, it fell to the floor.
    "Is it dead?" Harry asked.
"Yeah. Who cares, right?" Katy giggled.
Captain Jack held the axe. Smoke hovered around the tip of the blade.
    "Beautiful, just beautiful!" He laughed.
"It's finally ours! We are unstoppable!" Katy cheered.
"This war isn't over yet," Harry said.
I bit my lip and stared at the axe.
"But it will be over soon... with this powerful, mysterious weapon, we will win, and peace would be spread." Captain Jack explained.
"Peace? Pffff, peace is for losers. I want chaos and destruction!" Katy laughed.
"Don't confirm the future yet Katy," Harry said.
I looked at the rest of the Shadows at the entrance.
"Now go my little Shadows, bring Louise and the rest of them to me!" Captain Jack commanded.
They then crawled out while Captain Jack, Katy and Harry exited the room.
I walked towards the body. I held its hands and slid it across the room into the lab.

    Louise's Perspective:
"I made it with strong material. I'm sure you'll like it." Undead said.
I looked at the blade of my new sword. The blade was rusty and didn't have the same shine as the axe.
It wasn't like the axe at it. It just didn't feel like it had any... strength.
I know it was ridiculous to say that, but holding that axe felt like it was giving me power.
"It doesn't feel the same." I sighed.
"For goodness sake Louise, Undead spent a lot of time making that." Kry hissed.
"I appreciate the work Undead, but the axe... it's the only way to kill the Shadows. This probably won't even scratch the Shadows." I complained.
"We had to get rid of it," Xeno said.
"Why? So we can die anyway? It was our only chance." I argued.
    "Enough!" Undead yelled.
I felt a lump in my throat.
"I believe getting the axe back is the only way." Undead answered.
My eyes widened as a spark of surprise entered my mind.
    "But Undead-"
"Stop thinking of any excuses when there's really nothing to block my answer." He growled.
"So what's the plan then since you know everything," Twage questioned.
"We get the axe back." He announced.

I was so glad that we were finally out of that cave. Thanks to Twage farting, it made it smell horrible.
Sandy was ahead of us since he had the advantage of the wind in the air.
"There's something in the distance... like a massive, spiky mountain. Seems suspicious." He announced.
"A spiky mountain is probably Captain Jack's dream home," Kry commented.
I kept running. My heart kept beating like a drum as my legs felt like machines.
But after a couple of minutes, my muscles began to loose energy.
"Are we... there yet?" I gasped.
    "Almost!" Sandy exclaimed.
    I sighed and kept jogging.
I looked down at the ground. Not a single puff of grass appeared anyway on the ground.
    "Louise!" Xeno gasped.
I quickly looked up, but it was too late. I already smashed right into a wall.
I fell on my back. My mind was fuzzy while my head had a shooting pain.
"Watch where you're going..." Agent S gulped.
I pulled the sword out of my backpack. It had a crack in it.
I gulped and pressed my finger of the blade.
"I thought you said you made it out of powerful material?" I complained.
"It IS! If it was a normal sword, it would be in pieces now. It's just a scratch." Undead said.
It wasn't a scratch; the crack on the blade could grow the more I used it.
"What is the sword made off?" Xeno questioned.
    "Tin," Undead exclaimed.
"Tin? I thought it was made up of a stronger material like iron or steel." I said.
"Do you really think he'd be able to find that?" Kry hissed.
I bit my lip and placed the sword back in my backpack.

I finally observed my view. I almost broke my neck when I looked at how high the mountain was.
The tip of the mountain was just below the clouds. I gulped and wiped my forehead.
The entrance had a large gate, but it was open.
"HOW many bases does he have? I swear in every world he was able to get a base. How did he get the time and materials to make this?!" Kry shouted.
"His helpers probably helped. Before the 6th world, the Gods must have helped him make the base. In the 7th world, the demons must've helped and in this world, the Shadows must've helped." Undead explained.
"What about the next world..." Sandy gulped.
"The next world... the next world is much darker... but for some reason, I can't remember the next world. But I have a sense that its dark." He said.
"Welp... let's go in," I commanded.
I walked in. The more steps I took, the more the darkness surrounded me.
There aren't any doors. The ceiling was really high. It was just an infinite tunnel.
I finally heard footsteps behind me. I sighed in relief when I realised my friends have the guts to come too.
I turned around. I noticed someone missing...
Then, I noticed Xeno standing at the very back, not moving a muscle with Mandy standing beside her.
"Why isn't Xeno coming?" I questioned.
Everyone else paused and turned around.
    "Xeno, come on!" Sandy called.
    "I can't!" She cried.
"You all keep going on, I'll talk to her," I said.
They nodded and walked past me.

"Xeno, come on, we have to do this," I commanded.
"I can't... listen, mate, I know I may be cool and fearless, but the dark is my biggest fear!" She cried.
"You are afraid of the dark?" I asked.
    "Mmhmm. Mandy too." She said.
I looked at Mandy. She began to shiver and whimper.
"Twage can hold a flame in his hand to light the area," I explained.
"I'm not trusting THAT pig!" She hissed.
"Twage isn't that bad. He isn't the smartest, but he sure is damn useful with his spells." I said.
"Dude. he hates me." Xeno sighed.
I looked back at the cave. I could no longer see them.
"Just stay here. If you see any Shadows, just run." I commanded.
"But if I run, I'll probably get lost dude!" She gasped.
"Don't worry, Sandy can find you with his nose and wings." I winked.
She finally smiled and leant against the wall.
I quickly ran back into the cave. I was quite nervous about Xeno, she didn't have any weapons to defend herself...

Twage held a flame in his hand. The flame danced and waved while engulfing the darkness with its light.
"She's afraid of the dark. Pff, what a wuss." He laughed.
"Twage, aren't YOU afraid of the dark too?" Agent S hissed.
    His eyes widened.
"Guys, we've got to reach Captain Jack before he could use that axe," Sandy said.
    I nodded and continued walking.
We reached a door. It was wide open.
I held my breath and stepped in.

Right in front of me was a crowd of Shadows.
    I froze in my place.
At the back of the room, behind the crowd was Captain Jack, Katy, Harry and SnakeHammer.
I noticed Captain Jack holding something in both of his hands.
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen!" He exclaimed.

"So YOU'RE behind all this? Behind these... things?!" Kry shouted.
"Are you seriously that dumb, not knowing he's behind all this?" Katy hissed.
I stared at his hands. No matter how hard I concentrated, my view was still blurry.
He caught my eyes. He did a quick smile.
He held the first item out. A rod with a shiny red gem on top.
"Lads, this is the mum of all these Shadows. A beautiful weapon, isn't it?" He explained.
Then, he held out the second item.
"And THIS must be yours." He chuckled.
I looked closely, and my heart suddenly sank.
    "The Axe..." Sandy gasped.
"Thanks Louise for letting us have it, he he!" Katy laughed.
"You bloody fools... what have you done to it?" I hissed.
"Oh, you know... a couple of touches and stuff." He said.
Sandy leaped over the Shadows and grabbed the axe with his teeth. Captain Jack immdietly let go.
Sandy returned and gave me the axe.
"I don't need it anyway, I have something better." He said.
    "Better?" SnakeHammer gasped.
    "Yes... another axe!" He exclaimed.
I looked behind me. I didn't realise Pikachu in Agent S' arms. He was completely silent, I haven't even hard him breathe.
Harry held out another axe. It was black with a shine on its blade.
My heart began to race while sweat dribbled down my face. My hands shivered as my muscles felt weak.
"Behold! An axe stronger than time; an axe stronger than a man's army! Introducing: The Shadaxe!" Captain Jack exclaimed.

    Chapter 34 - Vanish
I thought I was going to faint.
I felt a tug on my arm.
"Louise... we have to go..." I heard Kry gasp.
    "No..." I murmured.
"We don't have a choice!" Agent S exclaimed.
I heard my heart beat louder than my mind.
I didn't know what to do, my mind was frozen.
    "Louise!" Sandy shouted.
A lightning shot right past me. I fell on my back.
"You guys go! I'll kill them!" I commanded.
"We can't leave you here." Twage said softly.
    "I said GO!" I demanded.
I heard the crowd of footsteps fade away.
I looked to my right but Xeno appeared next to me.
"Xeno? I thought you said you hated the dark." I said.
"I'm not leaving you. If you are in danger, then I've got your back no matter what."
"But didn't you hear me? I said I can take care of them!" I shouted
"I'm not leaving you here." She hissed.
She pulled me up. I wrapped my fingers around the handle of my axe tightly.
Then I heard the door shut behind me.
    "Xeno!" Kry shouted.
All my friends began to shout and bang on the door, calling our names.
"You don't stand a chance! Break the door open and get out of there!" Sandy shouted.

Captain Jack's group began to walk out of the room.
I charged forward, but the door then shut when they exited.
I slashed the door with the axe, but all it left was scratches on the door.
    "I won't let them escape!" I cried.
"Louise, you must escape now before they play with your mind!" Undead commanded.
"Play with my mind? What are you talking about?" I gasped.
"We don't have time!" Xeno barked.
She grabbed my axe and stabbed the door. It then fell to the floor.
I grabbed my axe back and held it tight.
Xeno rushed in. I paused and looked behind me.
I could still hear them all yelling.
But I couldn't let them escape. I've let them escape so many times, I kept missing so many opportunities.
    So I rushed in.

The hall way was infinite. So many empty cages in my view.
I didn't know where Xeno went.
    "Xeno?" I called.
    No answer.
Then I saw a door. It was revealing light.
I rushed towards it and pushed it open.
I was out of the mountain and facing the forest.
The view was quite high up. In front of me looked like a weak bridge made of thin wooden planks without any rope on the sides to support me.
I looked below and saw the top of the trees that were at the bottom.
It looked like the distance from this bridge to the ground was 50 metres. Falling could result in death.
I took a step forward. I heard the wooden plank on my feet make a creaking sound.
The bridge slightly swayed to the left.
I took another step. The bridge slightly shook.
Then at the very middle of the bridge was Katy.
That's when my rage built up.

I quickly walked through the bridge, ignoring the creeking sound and the swaying of the bridge.
    "Yo Louise!" She waved.
    I didn't respond.
"Man... this bridge is quite high, heh." She chuckled.
    I narrowed my eyebrows.
Then when I was in front of her, I tried to punch her, but she shifted to her left.
"Woah... I did not see that coming." Katy gasped.
I tried to punch her again, but she dodged.
"Dude... what the hell?" She said.
"Shut UP! Just die!" I shouted.
    That's when she ran.
    "Dude, calm down!" She gasped.
"Get back here! Do you know how much time you've wasted with me? How much pain you've gave me?!" I shouted.
She kept running across the bridge.
"What is wrong with you?!" She cried.
"What is wrong with YOU?!" I hissed.
I then slashed her arm with my axe. She yelped and fell to her side.
She was close to fall off. I kicked her, causing her to roll off the bridge.
However, she just held onto the edge of the plank.

    "Louise, stop!" She cried.
    "Why should I?" I hissed.
I pressed my foot on her hand.
"Do you realise what you are doing?" She said.
"Of course I know what I'm doing, I'm trying to kill you!" I said.
Then her expression changed, like her face froze.
    "What an amazing show!"

I looked to my left, and Katy stood there.
I was confused. I looked down and Katy was also there. Two Katys?!
"Wow, you sure are one great friend!" The Katy on the bridge laughed.
"What? Who are you?!" I gasped.
"Heh heh... don't you recognise my beauty? I'm Katy!" She laughed.
Then I looked down and realised who was clinging onto the bridge.
I realised that was Xeno. I even noticed Mandy in her back pack who was yelping.
Before I could help her get up, she let go.
I stared at her body fall through the leaves of the trees.
    "What?!" I gasped.
I looked to my left, but I immediately got punched in the jaw.
I fell on my back. A stinging pain remained on my jaw.
She pressed her foot on my chest.
    "Goodnight." She giggled.
And that second punch then knocked me out.

    SnakeHammer's Perspective:
"Can we please go somewhere else? Staying in this forest is so gross." I argued.
"We can't go in our base yet because Louise's group is probably in there," Harry answered.
"Arg where in the heck is Katy? She should've finished them off by now!" Captain Jack moaned.
Then I heard footsteps. I stood up.
Katy finally came with a smile on her face.
"What happened? Did you kill them all?" Captain Jack said.
"Not all of them, but we've made progress." She winked.
    "Progress?" I said.
"One of them is down." She answered.
"Wait, you mean you actually killed one of them!?" Captain Jack gasped.
"Probably. She fell off the bridge thanks to Harry's spell he just used." Katy explained.
    "What spell?" I said.
"The spell that causes Louise's view to change... changing a person's appearance to something else. I made Xeno look like Katy." Harry explained.
"She actually thought Xeno was me! She is so dumb! Then she even pushed her off the bridge and is probably dead!" Katy laughed.
    My eyes widened.
"Oh don't look too upset SnakeHammer, Xeno could be alive." Captain Jack said.
"I'm not upset... just surprised at this new spell we have obtained," I said.
"What about Louise? Did she die too?" I added.
"I knocked her out cold. Now she's unconscious like a baby." Katy explained.
"I am sensing that Xeno is still alive... perhaps we could use her as a trap." Harry explained.
"That's perfect Harry. Let's find her and give her a warm welcome." Captain Jack giggled.

    Louise's Perspective:
    I heard voices.
My muscles began to obtain strength.
    Then, my view returned.
"Where is SHE?!" I immediately shouted.
I didn't even observe my whole view. I just wanted answers.
    Everyone remained frozen.
"Well?! Where is she?!" I shouted louder.
    "Who? What happened?" Twage asked.
    "Xeno! She's... she's gone!" I gasped.
I looked around. We weren't on the bridge. We were in a jungle.
    "Where's the bridge?" I gasped.
"What bridge? There was a bridge?!" Agent S questioned.
I groaned and scrunched up my fist.
"Slow down. What happened to Xeno?" Sandy asked.
"We... we were on a bridge and... I accidentally pushed her off!" I explained.
"How can you 'accidentally' push her off?! What is wrong with you!" Kry hissed.
"Calm down Kry... I knew this would happen." Undead sighed.

"We have to find her... now!" I cried.
"She is most likely taken from Captain Jack now since you were unconscious for a hour," Agent S said.
He then looked down. I noticed Pikachu still in his arms.
"Wait... I haven't even heard Pikachu breathe! Is he okay?" I asked.
"He's not doing so good... he won't wake up." He sighed.
"But Xeno said he'd be fine." Sandy said.
"Looks like she was wrong... unless we find her. She could perhaps help him since I know nothing about health and wounds." Agent S explained.
I stood up and dug my hand in my back pack.
I held out the axe and looked at its blade.
"Where do you think Captain Jack is now?" I questioned.
"Probably back at the base. Come on." Undead answered.
We ran past all the trees and bushes.

We reached the bridge that I was previously on.
"This was the bridge Xeno and I were on." I said.
Twage took a step forward. I heard the wooden planks shriek.
"Are you sure this bridge is strong enough for all of us?" Twage questioned.
"It'll have to do. We don't have time to go around." Undead said.
I walked slowly while everyone walked quickly.
"Louise come on it's fine!" Twage exclaimed.
"I have a bad feeling about this..." I murmured.
    "Good day lads!"
I froze and looked up. My heart then skipped a beat.
Captain Jack stood there with SnakeHammer beside him.
    "Where's Xeno?!" I demanded.
"Don't worry, we'll keep her company when you all of you are gone." Captain Jack laughed.
"Now SnakeHammer... cut the end of the bridge for me." Captain Jack added when he gave the Shadaxe to him.
"Captain Jack, you can do this. Besides, this isn't my axe, this is y-"
    "Do it." Captain Jack said.
He then held a pistol at SnakeHammer's head.

He sighed and looked at me with a soft expression.
    "Sorry guys." He said.
He then chopped the rope connected to the cliff.
The bridge began to fall. I turned around and began running towards the jungle.
But I was too slow and I fell backwards.

"ARG! NO! NO! HE CAN'T BE DEAD!"
I opened my eyes and sat up.
My view was blurry. I saw a crowd of people in front of me.
I shook my head and rushed towards them.
I pushed past them and landed on my knees with Agent S in front of me.
"Keep pushing his chest!" Sandy gasped.
He pressed his ear against his chest.
"Arg! Come on! Don't you die on me!" He cried.
He kept pushing his chest. I held my breath.
    "Agent S..." Undead said softly.
"No! I won't stop! No!" He hissed.
    "Agent S please..." Undead said.
    "No!" He sobbed.
    Tears rolled down his face.
Then I noticed the one on the ground.
That's when I almost had a heart attack.
    It was Pikachu.

Agent S finally stopped and sobbed, staring at the ground.
"He's gone, Agent S..." Undead sighed.
    "No..." He murmured.
"That bloody SnakeHammer! Arg I can't wait to punch his guts!" Kry shouted.
"It wasn't his fault... he only destroyed the bridge to stay alive. Captain Jack is only using him as a slave." I explained.
"Oh yeah? How do you know?" Kry questioned.
"Because I've seen what he is actually doing." I said.
I remembered when he helped Xeno and I escape back in Hell when we were in their base. He is just trying to help us, but Captain Jack won't let him.
"Jeez, why must our group keep getting smaller! Harry is back being a God, Xeno is missing and now Pikachu is gone!" Agent S cried.
    "Don't forget Blab..." I added.
    They all looked me.
"Blab... jee, I still remember her smile." Twage sighed.
"You know, she killed that Giant back in the second world. I still remember her moves." Sandy said.
The tears started to build up in my eyes. Xeno really did remind me of Blab... in fact they seem like the same person.
    I knew I couldn't loose her too.
I stood up and looked up. The thousands of leaves were covering the sunlight, causing some darkness to surround us.
"Come on, we have to find Xeno." I said.
    They all nodded.
    To Be Continued...
    Jee I'm a bad person, aren't I? Sorry :(

    Chapter 35 - Alone

    SnakeHammers Perspective:

"It wasn't necessary to cut that bridge, Captain Jack," I complained.
"Quit being such a baby, I've wanted them dead for far too long." Katy hissed.
"To be honest, turning them into Gods would be better, even though I want to kill them badly." Captain Jack commented.
"Well if you want them alive, then why did you push me to cut that bridge!" I shouted.
"Because he isn't in charge anymore."
I turned around. Harry stood there with his head down.
    "Then who is?" I questioned.
Captain Jack took a step forward towards me.
    "She is." He answered.
Katy stood there proudly with her hands on her hips.
"Jack... when did she become the leader?" I whispered.
"Ever since she came. If I don't follow her rules I'll get killed. But hey, a boss is a boss, heh heh." He answered.
I gulped and scratched my head.
"Katy... don't you think you should give Captain Jack a chance at being the leader?" Harry suggested.
"Hell no. It's because I'm a girl isn't it? Such useless people you all are. With me in charge, Louise's group will surely die! Who needs Gods when you have me." She barked.
I looked at Harry. He crossed his arms and turned his head.
"Anyway, let us prepare the trap for them. I'm sure they'll be looking for sweet little Xeno." Katy giggled.

    Louise's Perspective:
I noticed the sudden change in the mood.
Everyone had now become silent, keeping communication at minimal.
Twage isn't able to be himself due to the silence.
"So... do you think Xeno is okay?" He asked.
    No one answered.
    "Hopefully..." I sighed.
Twage looked at me with puppy eyes.
Sandy kept hanging his head down. He didn't dare to look at any of us.
We continued to walk in silence. If the mood continues to be like this, then we'd soon separate into different directions and never return as one.
I couldn't be alone. That was my number one fear. Being alone with nothing but my helpless mind would cause me to go crazy.
Hopefully, when Xeno returns, everyone will be happy again.
Undead then stopped. We all paused and stared at him.
"We cannot face Captain Jack like this... perhaps some rest will help regain our energy and strength." He explained.
    "Good idea." Agent S commented.

We all sat down nearby. I leaned against the tree.
Kry then sat down next to me. I was about to try to chat and chat with him.
He looked at me with a frown. He then stood up and sat next to a tree away from the group, facing away from us.
Sandy looked at me with a worried look. I sighed and closed my eyes.
All I could think of was Xeno, how much pain she is in right now and how Katy wouldn't leave her alone.
I tried to stop thinking about her, but no other thought was relevant.

I was awakened by a thud.
I opened my eyes and noticed a large creature on the ground.
Twage stood next to it, proudly.
"I thought maybe some breakfast would help. Do any of you want some?" Twage questioned.
    Everyone shook their head.
    "I'll have a small piece," I answered.
Twage tried to smile, but it looked like a wonky frown.
He cut a small piece and held it above the flame in the palm of his hand.
He handed it to me. I began to chew.
"Do we have a plan?" Agent S questioned.
"Just go in there and get Xeno," Sandy answered.
"What if we see Captain Jack and his group?" Agent S added.
    "Kill them."
I looked to my right. Kry stood there with his arms crossed.

He then looked at me with a frustrated look.
"Get over it Louise. You can't continue being a wuss." He growled.
"I am over it..." I said softly.
"You think you are strong when you are a coward." He growled again.
"I am trying to be strong! How can I be strong with you in the way all the time?" I shouted.
I stood up to him. He shoved me in the chest.
He tried to shove me again until Agent S came and tried to push him away.
"Calm down Kry!" Agent S cried.
    He shoved Agent S away.
    "Enough!" Undead screeched.
    Kry looked at me.
He turned and leaned against a tree with his back towards me.
I marched away, holding back my anger.
    "Louise!" Sandy cried.
    "Leave her." Kry hissed.
I sat on a rock and stared at the leaves above me.
I dug my hand into my backpack. I slowly pulled the axe out.
I looked at its blade. Tears began to fall from my face.
I placed it back in my backpack and stood up.
    "Let's go," I announced.

We reached the entrance of the cave. I was thankful that the whole group came, but I have a feeling that Kry will leave us.
"Shall we go in?" Agent S questioned.
I nodded and opened the door.
    I took a step forward.
"Wait..." I said when I heard the group try to enter.
I took another step forward. I carefully listened.
    I heard a loud thud.
I turned around, and there was iron bars dug into the ground, blocking my group.
They began to try to break the bars.
"Louise, use your axe and break it!" Twage commanded.
    "No," I answered.
    They all paused.
"I won't loose anymore of you. Just stay there and keep watch... I have to go on alone." I announced.
    They all stared at me.
I remembered how I was here before with my friends also behind the door. I had Xeno with me, but this time I must use my strength.
I turned around and took a deep breath. I knew that being alone was my fear, but I had to face it.

"How pitiful of you to go on without your friends." The speakers said.
I could hear Katy giggle from the speakers. I scrunched up my fist.
"Don't worry hun, I'm quite worried about Xeno too." She continued to announce.
I chop a speaker in half with my axe.
"I know how much rage is in you right now, how badly you want to kill me..." She giggled.
"Tell me, where is Xeno!" I shouted.
    "You should ask yourself that."
    I paused and hissed.
"SnakeHammer, stop trying to take the mic from me!" Katy shouted.
I heard a lot of tapping. I stayed still.
"Louise, this is SnakeHammer. I need to show you something. To your right is the lab. Go in it, there is someone in there you need to see." SnakeHammer said.
    "Xeno?" I gasped.
"SnakeHammer, what could possibly be so important that's in there? Jeez, if only if the security camera in the lab wasn't broken!" Katy hissed.
"Harry, go fix the security camera connecting to the lab," SnakeHammer said.
The speakers then went silent. I slowly pressed my hand against the door.
I held my breath and pushed.

The door creaked open, causing it to shriek.
I walked forward until I realized something...
    I remember this place...
Then I remembered the dream I had back in Hell...
In that dream was a cyropod.
"You... remember this place, don't you?"
I turned around. SnakeHammer stood there.
"SnakeHammer, get back here now! I can see you!" Katy shouted through the speakers.
"I'll come back, just give me a dang minute!" He growled.
"I know you had a dream about this room. I sent you that dream. In that dream, it was supposed to reveal the body in the cyropod, until Captain Jack stopped me." He explained.
"SnakeHammer, what are you doing there?!" I heard Captain Jack shout through the speakers.
"Captain Jack, you may want to see this too," SnakeHammer said.
I then resumed walking. I could see the cyropod at the very end of the room.
"Xeno better be in there..." I murmured to myself.
All I could hear now was my footsteps.
I was face to face with the cyropod.
I took a deep breath and wiped the fog on the glass.
    I saw the face...
That's when I almost had a heart attack.
    I breathed rapidly.
"No... how? She was dead!" I gasped.
"Who is? What the hell is going on? I'm coming right now!" Captain Jack growled through the speakers.
"It turns out, she was a Shadow..." SnakeHammer sighed.
Captain Jack shoved past me. He fell to his knees.
    "Blab... my daughter..." He gasped.

    Katy and Harry then came.
"I thought Blab was your granddaughter," SnakeHammer said.
He shook his head as he stared at Blab.
"I thought I killed her! Arg, I'll get my sword and kill-"
"Don't you dare touch her." Captain Jack hissed at Katy.
"Why did you even kill her anyway? Captain Jack specifically said to just knock her out, not end her life." Harry said.
"WHY do we suddenly want her alive!" Katy barked.

"Hold on... why are YOU still here?!" Katy shouted as he pointed at me.
She grabbed a spear on the ground.
"Harry, kill her and follow me! SnakeHammer, take care of poor little Jack." Katy commanded.
I quickly rushed out of the room. I could hear the fire crackling in Harry's hand.
I ran into a room and slammed the door shut.
Then I noticed Xeno at the very back of the room.
I rushed towards her, calling her name.
But when I was in front of her I realized it was just a puppet.

"Harry, activate the poison," Katy commanded.
I tried to open the door, but it was locked.
Then green gas filled the room.
    I began coughing uncontrollably.
My throat began to tighten as I felt weak.
"Louise! Are you in there?!" I heard Sandy howl.
    "Stop the poison!" I cried.
"Undead, just press every button!" Agent S gasped.
"Just give me a second!" Undead growled.
    My view began to fade.
The poison finally stopped, but I was still infected.
The door opened. Twage then sprayed a yellow gas at me.
    I felt strength again.
"What spell is that?" I questioned.
"I don't know, just came to me. Heals poison, quite useful, right?" Twage explained.
    "Where's Kry?" I asked.
"He... didn't want to come in here, so he's waiting at the entrance... I think." Agent S answered.

    "Blab is here..." I said.
    "Alive?!" Sandy gasped.
"I don't know... she is in a cyropod. I don't know if she is just unconsious or dead." I answered.
"But how could she have made it to this world? She was killed back in the second world." Agent S said.
"She was a Shadow." I said.
"We must find Xeno... we cannot keep her waiting." Undead said.

I opened the cage door. Xeno had her hands chained against the wall.
She fell to the ground once she was released.
    "Are you alright?" I questioned.
"I'm... I'm fine." She said softly.
"I'm so sorry for pushing you off the bridge... I thought you were Katy. But she was just playing with my mind." I explained.
"Don't be sorry... everything is okay now." Xeno said, smiling.
But it didn't feel like everything was okay yet, we still had to deal with Katy.
I noticed the bruises and cuts on Xeno's face and arms.
"I found Mandy in the next cage. I think she's okay."
I turned around. Sandy stood there with Mandy next to him.
"Undead... how do we go to the next world." Agent S asked.
    "It's... very complicated." She sighed.
"What do you mean complicated?" I gasped.
He sighed and bit his lip.
"Well... apparantly you survive this, but I don't know how." He said.
"Come on, spit it out." Twage said.
"You... you must jump off a cliff, pushing Captain Jack." He answered.
    "WHAT?" I screeched.

    1. The story is almost ending, meaning that there isn't much time for character development.
    2. I can't think of a role for you.
    3. You suddenly appearing in this situation seems quite out of place and 'out of the blue'.
    4. All the humans in my story are Shadows. If you don't know what that means then that proves you haven't read the story or any of my previous stories, which doesn't show much support. But anyway they're all dead, meaning that the person Markiplier can't appear as he is most likely dead. I'm sorry to break your heart.
Sorry if I sounded rude or mean. I'm kind of tired. However, perhaps in future short stories I might add you. No hard feelings, okay? Thank you and goodnight. :)

    Chapter 36 - In Charge
"Do you really think I would survive that?! Like of course jumping off a cliff is a good idea!" I barked.
"This is your memories, Louise! You did this! You must've survived." Agent S exclaimed.
"What about Blab dying? What about Xeno suddenly appearing? What about ANY of this happening?" I shouted.
"We can change the past when being in it." Undead answered.
I bit my lip while holding my hands together.
I then noticed something in Xeno's hand.
"I also found this here covered in dust. You may want to hear this. Perhaps this could switch our hating around." She explained.
She held it out in front of me. An old tape recorder sat in the palm of her hand.
I held it and pressed the play button.
"Katy, I've told you so many times! Perhaps killing them would be a waste! Turning them into Gods would be much better.
Why do we need their power when we have your power! Besides, what could be so dangerous out there that requires assistance?
I need assistance to protect something.
    What?
A place I've created. Lemme show you outside."
    I looked at Xeno.
    "That's not all." She answered.
She took the recorder and pressed the skip button then handed it back to me.
"Why do we need that place? Pfff. This still doesn't convince that we need them to be alive.
You don't understand. This place is a bloody mess!
    So what?
If we don't preserve my new zone after this one dies, we'll be dead.
I prefer to be dead if that means Louise's group will die.
I want them dead too. I thought that ever since this dang war started. But we don't have a choice.
There are plenty of choices, you just don't have the eyes to see it."

"So... Captain Jack doesn't want us dead anymore?" Twage questioned.
"Indeed, but being Gods isn't good either." Undead answered.
"But what exactly happens to us if we do become Gods?" Sandy asked.
    "We'll obtain power."
    "And?"
    They all looked at me.
"I know you're probably thinking how the previous Gods were all choatic, but SnakeHammer has changed... what if that they were only crazy because Katy forced them to be. When SnakeHammer had almost stopped taking orders from them and tried to quit attacking us, he changed. What if they aren't even that bad." I explained.
"You're starting to make them all seem good. I don't want to stop hating them." Twage said.
I closed my mouth shut and scratched my arm.
"What if we just kill Katy."
I turned around and looked at Undead.
"Captain Jack is trying to revive Blab. It was Katy who tried to kill her after all. We also obtained information how the Gods only got power because they were dying. Now he doesn't even want to kill us anymore. So... could Katy really be the one behind this war?" He added.
"So it's settled. We kill Katy. Simple." Sandy said.
"What about the Shadows..." Xeno coughed.
"Perhaps destroying the rod spawning them all and the Shadaxe would resolve that problem as well. Humans could then return and help us." Twage explained.
"Wow, you're being helpful for a change." Xeno chuckled.
"What do you mean 'for a change'?" Twage growled.
"I'll go and get Kry." Agent S said as he left the prison cell.
Then SnakeHammer arrived, looking quite stressed.

    "SnakeHammer." I called.
"Bad news. Louise, your axe might be not strong enough for this." He explained.
    "What's the issue?" Sandy asked.
"Katy is forcing Captain Jack and Harry to now kill you, even Captain Jack doesn't really want to kill you because-"
"We know why. Where are they now?" I questioned.
"They're waiting at the end of this hallway." He pointed.
"Sorry that I haven't really assisted you. If they see me help you, I'd probably die. Get ready, they're waiting for you."
    He then quickly ran.
I held out the axe. The blade wasn't as sharp as I remembered.
"So... I have to push Captain Jack off the cliff?" I questioned.
    Undead nodded and sighed.
"Undead, are you sure she's survive?" Sandy gasped.
"Most likely. But one small error could end your life." He answered.
Mandy stared at me with wide eyes. This could be the last time I see my friends.
    Agent S returned looking horrified.
    "He's gone!" He cried.

    "Impossible!" Twage gasped.
"I looked at every corner. We wasn't at the entrance or anywhere! He's left us!" He screeched.
    "I should've known this would've happened!" I hissed.
"Wait, you just LEFT him out there? Of course he'd leave!" Xeno shouted.
Everyone began shouting. My mind kept getting tangled in knots.
"Hold up. What if he's attacking Katy and Captain Jack now?" Sandy suggested.
"That means we have to leave immdietely." Xeno said.
    I helped Xeno get up.

Agent S slammed the door open.
I shoved past everyone and noticed Captain Jack, Katy, Harry and SnakeHammer standing there, side by side.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome!" Katy announced.
I scrunched up my fist, trying to preserve my anger.
"You know, remember the time when you all thought we were 'friends'? Hah, good times! But I'll surely remember the time you all died..." She giggled.
"Katy... don't you think turning them into Gods is a much better idea?!" Captain Jack hissed.
"Hush or I'll shove u down that cliff behind you." She growled.
I then noticed the cliff behind them. The abyss behind them seemed infinite. No way I could survive that.
I looked behind me. Undead nodded.
    I held my axe out.
Captain Jack then held his Shadaxe out.
    Katy then walked towards SnakeHammer.
I saw her whisper in his ear, smiling. He sighed and stood up straight.
"Let the games begin!" Katy laughed as she held her spear.

Twage began shooting purples flames at them. They all dodged it while SnakeHammer zapped Twage, causing him to fall to the ground.
He looked guilty doing that. He took a step back.
Xeno tried to stab Katy, but her spear blocked her spear.
Katy tried to whack her feet, but she jumped and quickly rolled to the side.
Agent S tried to shoot arrows at Captain Jack, but his Shadaxe just deflected every shot.
Undead quickly spawned a shield around us before the deflected arrows could hit us.
Sandy and Mandy charged at Harry. Sandy then flapped his demon wings and scratched Harry's face.
He began biting his arms until a fire spawned in the palm of his hand.
Our axes clashed. I tried to push him closer to the cliff, but he then took some steps forward.
I then chopped his Shadaxe to the side, causing it to slide away.
I held the axe close to his neck.
He punched me right in the stomach. I fell down.
Before he could punch me again, some arrows flew past him.
He quickly rushed to his Shadaxe.
I stood up and noticed Xeno struggli ng against Katy.
Xeno was on the ground with their spears colliding.
The spear then snapped in half.
I quickly ran towards Katy and tried to chop her.
She then blocked the blade with the tip of her spear.
    "Don't even TRY!" She growled.
Sandy then stood next to me.
Then, she stabbed the wings of Sandy.

He screeched in pain. She then chopped both of the wings off.
He fell to the ground. I quickly tried to chop her head off until a fireball hit the axe.
It fell next to me with a flame dancing on it.
Before Katy could kill Sandy, a bullet went straight through the handle of her spear.
Xeno held Sandy and rushed towards Undead who still had his sheild up, but had cracks all over its shell.
"Okay, now that's bull cookies who ever did that!" Katy shouted.
Another bullet flew past her and almost hit me.
Between the trees and bushes stood Kry.
"Sorry I'm later to the party." He said.

"Jeez what took you so long!" I exclaimed.
"Thought I'd leave you for good, but nah, I don't have anything better to do." He explained.
    "Jack! End them!" Katy called.
Suddenly, a striking pain shot on my back.
I fell to my knees. I looked over my shoulder and noticed Captain Jack there with the Shadaxe in his hand.
    "You monster!" Kry shouted.
I could hear his pistol reload.
    "No! It's not h-"
I heard a gun shot. Captain Jack grunted in pain.
"Kry! You don't understand who's in charge anymore!" Undead called.
    "Who cares!" He hissed.
I slowly stood up. I put my hand on my back and noticed the blood on my fingers.
"Louise, Undead could be wrong!" Twage cried.
"What? What is wrong?" Kry gasped.
"How can I be wrong when this happened in her memories." Undead said.
I took a step forward. Captain Jack kept staring at his wound on his shoulder.

    Kry's Perspective:
"What is she doing?!" I gasped.
I was so confused, what was Louise doing?
    "Ending him and herself!"
I stared at Agent S. Sweat dribbled down his face.
I looked at Louise again, and she was in front of him.
Then I remembered that terrible day...
    "NO!" I cried.
    But it was too late.
She already pushed Captain Jack off the cliff and fell with him.
I ran to the cliff and looked down. It was just a dark abyss below.
    I turned around.
"No, she can't be dead!" I gasped.
"She is most likely not. She survives this somehow..." Undead explains.
"Well anyway, we'll see you in the next world. Ciao!" Katy giggled.
"You aren't going anywhere!" Xeno shouted.
She charged towards her, but she already vanished.
SnakeHammer and Harry were gone too.
