[My 10th And Final Story] Darkness Never Dies

Just here so you don't have to double post! Amazing chapter Louise, I'm very excited for the next one!

 

I'm so sorry for only posting a chapter a week. I know I keep saying that I'll post two chapters a week, but work keeps popping out of no where. However, this is the last week for Term 3 which means I'll have a two week holiday at the end of this week. So I promise you that I will start posting two chapters a week soon.

Chapter 24 - No Longer Harry
For once, I noticed pride in Kry's eyes.
I looked at everyone else, and their eyes seemed empty.
“Well… welcome back to the party, Kry!” Twage cheered.
But we all remained silent.
“Sorry to break the boredom, but who’s this guy?” Xeno asked.
“He was a part of this group, but then he left. Look’s like he has rejoined the group now though.” Agent S said.
“Oh I see. Hopefully, you’ll also like Mandy.” Xeno commented.
“Mandy? Don’t you mean Sandy?” Kry questioned.
Mandy then sat beside Xeno.
Kry bit his lip.
“Can we handle two dogs?” Kry said as he scratched his head.
I shrugged.

"By the way... I was watching you battle and... I've never seen such powers... I thought magic was just fiction." Xeno said with interest.
"Actually... how has magic become reality..." I thought out loud.
We looked at Undead, since we know that Undead can answer everything.
"It was the work of Captain Jack." Undead sighed.
"Ha ha ha ha... are you serious?" Xeno gasped.
"Yes, I am serious... these spells and powers we use... all belonged to Captain Jack." Undead continued.
We remained silent, confused and surprised.
"Well... you learn something new everyday huh..." Twage shrugged.

We heard a small cry.
We turned around, and Harry’s eyes were twitching.
“He’s going to wake up.” Sandy whispered.
His eyelids lifted and didn’t move another muscle.
Kry held his pistol out, but Xeno covered the head of the pistol with his hand.
“No. He can help us.” Xeno said.
“He’s just going to destroy the whole village!” Agent S argued.
Harry slowly stood up tall with empty eyes.
I noticed the blood dribbling down his shoulder. I felt a lump in my throat.
Twage held his hand out with a fire blazing in his palm.
“Don’t move…” Twage hissed.
Harry just stared straight past Twage.
Then he vanished in a blink of an eye.

“God dammit!” Kry shouted as he threw his pistol to the ground.
“He hasn’t gone far.” Undead said.
“How do you know?” Xeno gasped.
“I’ve studied his powers. He can only teleport at a maximum of 20 metres. So we must hurry.” Undead explained.
“Wait…” Xeno said.
She then rushed to her house. Mandy followed her too.
Then she came out with something in her arms.
“Your pet mouse should be okay… not perfect, though. You must keep him in your arms at all time.” Xeno explained.
Agent S held Pikachu in his arms. He began to sniff and wipe his eyes with his hand.
“Are you crying?” Twage said with surprise.
“What? No… just… worried about him.” Agent S sighed.
"He'll be fine. The chances of him dying is lower than me meeting Zasto." Xeno laughed.
I looked around confused.
"Who's... zasto?" Sandy asked.
"You've NEVER heard of him? Jeez ya'll have been living under a rock." Xeno sighed.
"I slept under a rock once..." Twage commented.
Xeno's eyes widened.
"Sorry to cut the conversation short... but Harry maybe miles away now." Undead said.
"Oh snap. Okay, I'll explain Zasto real quick. He's an alien known to create the entire universe. Okay annnnd let's go!" Xeno explained.
We then rushed towards the eternal grass fields.

"I'm a little confused..." Kry said as he breathed heavily as we continued to run.
"What?" I asked.
"Well... are your powers gone? What has happened to Harry? What about..." Kry continued to ask.
Undead explained everything to him. He then frowned.
Undead who was in front of us all then paused.
We all quickly stopped.
"He's there... look..." Undead pointed.
I pushed through the crowd, and there he was, on his knees and his hands on his head.
Sweat dribbled down his face as his teeth shoved against each other. His eyes were wedged shut.
I quickly rushed to him and went on my knees and listened closely to his words.
"Make... the pain... stop... aaggh!" He shouted.
"Louise, he might turn into crazy mode again. Be careful!" Sandy cautioned.
I heard Mandy also bark.
"Please... ignore the darkness... we can help you..." I whispered.
He continued to hiss and grunt.
Then, he froze.
I jumped to my feet. He stood up.
He raised his hand as it was held right in front of my face.
And a small flame began to grew in his hand.

But just in time, Kry wrapped his arm around his neck. He began to walk backwards as Harry began to shove and scramble.
Then Kry pressed the pistol against his head. Harry then froze.
"Don't... move..." Kry hissed.
"What do we do with him? I don't think there is a cure for the darkness in him." Agent S asked.
"Teleporting the God of thunder to this location." Harry responded.
"What?" Xeno gasped.
Then beside him appeared SnakeHammer.
"Thanks for calling me kid-well, what do we have here?" SnakeHammer said.
He was staring straight at Pikachu in Agent S' arms.
"Give him to me, bud." He held his hand out.
"You're not touching him." Agent S hissed.
"I'm warning you..." SnakeHammer hissed.
Agent S began to shift backwards.
"Well... you both can then die then." SnakeHammer giggled.
Then the clouds above began to roar.
Suddenly, a purple cage spawned around him.
SnakeHammer tried to pound onto the purple bars, but a small shock of purple lightning zapped him.
"What is this?!" SnakeHammer gasped.
"Woah Undead! When did you learn that move?" Twage gasped.
"It... it just came to me. I don't know, I just learnt it out of the blue." Undead gasped as he stared at his hands.
Twage charged towards the cage with his hand out.
"Wait!" Xeno gasped.
"Oh come on. Everytime we try to kill this guy he escapes! This is our final chance to kill this freak!" Twage shouted.
"I need to ask him a question..." Xeno sighed.

"Oh what's this? A baby girl scaring me? Hah!" Snakehammer laughed.
Mandy began to growl and hiss.
"Where is Captain Fat? You better answer me!" Xeno hissed.
"Eeehhh it's Captain Jack, but I think that name suits him better." Kry chuckled.
"You think I'll answer you? Morons..." SnakeHammer chuckled.
"If you don't answer us... then..." Agent S paused.
"...then I'll murder Pikachu."
We all gasped in shock.
"Are you MAD?" Twage gasped.
"I don't even care about that dang rat. Do it." SnakeHammer giggled.
Agent S grabbed Twage's hand and squeezed it causing a spark of fire to appear.
"Agent S, what are you doing?!" Twage shouted.
"Trust me..." Agent S whispered.
"Undead, what is with his mind?" Sandy asked Undead.
Undead remained silent.
Sandy sighed and wandered over to Mandy.
Snakehammer remained silent.
We stared at Agent S, wondering if he'll actually murder Pikachu.
"Fine... I'll answer you... just put out that flame now."
I stared at Agent S. He let go of Twage's hand. He then smiled and held Pikachu tighter.
Then suddenly, Pikachu gasped.

His chest rose then fell rapidly. His eyes were wide open.
"Pikachu..." Snakehammer whispered.
"How..." Kry gasped.
"I'll explain to you later. Xeno, ask him the question." Agent S said.
"Where is Captain Jack now..." Xeno said.
Snakehammer paused then sighed.
"He's off to the moon of crystal, where the Godly alien known as Zasto lives. He wants to try and control the alien and murder you all. He's on his way to the moon right now... that's all I'm going to spill, okay?" SnakeHammer explained.
"Oh no... Zasto is in danger... no..." Xeno gasped.
"Anyway... Harry, teleport me back to Captain Jack... and... take care of Pikachu for me." SnakeHammer sighed.
He then vanished, while Harry remained still in Kry's arms.
Kry held him tighter and pressed the pistol against his head harder.
"You're not off the hook yet, buddy. Now you better teleport us to the moon of crystal, or I'll pull the trigger." Kry hissed.
Harry remained frozen.
"Do it!" Kry shouted.
Then Kry and Harry vanished. Then the rest of us, and then me.
It was pitch black for five seconds, then we spawned in a forest.
"Two more stops," Harry whispered.
It was pitch black again. This time, when our view came back, we were on a rocky mountain.
Then it was pitch black, one more time.
Then we arrived at our destination.
Actually, it wasn't our destination... it was Harry's.
We were near the edge of an active volcano.
Red, boiling lava splashed from the core of the volcano.
The lava just missed us by metres.
"This isn't the moon of crystal!" Xeno gasped.
"You're right... this is actually your grave..." Harry laughed.

Kry rushed to Hary and grabbed his arms.
"What has happened to you! You were a part of the team, and now you treat us like this?" Kry shouted.
Before Kry could get his pistol out, Harry vanished out of his arms.
We stared at the volcano, and the ground began to shiver.
Splashes of lava began to bloom.
"It's erupting! Run!" Xeno gasped.

Chapter 25 - Death Swamp
The ground shivered more. Splashes of lava spread across the ground.
I rushed down, avoiding any large rocks or puddles of magma.
Down near the ground spawned a purple portal.
"Everyone, go in the portal!" I heard Undead command.
Sandy and Mandy entered the portal first.
I was about to leap forward into the portal before any magma could touch me.
But my foot hit a stone. My chest flew forward towards the ground.
But I fortunately just entered the portal.
After a couple of seconds of floating in pitch black I landed right on my stomach.
I quickly crawled forward before anyone could fall on top of me.
I stood up and scraped off the mud off my clothes.
I examined my view.

A smokey, rotten smell tickled my nose as the ground fell mushy.
The fog remained in the air with curled, mossy plants.
Groaning calls rang from unknown creatures hidden away behind the fog.
"This place smells worst than Twage." Sandy groaned.
I heard everyone else exit the portal as we remained silent.
"Undead, why did you teleport us here! You'll ruin my new shoes!" Twage argued.
"It was the only place far enough away from the volcano, and even if the lava caught up to here, the material on the plants aren't flammable. They aren't made of wood." Undead explained.
"Oh Undead. Always have the answer to everything." Twage sighed.
"Lads, I have good news and bad news," Xeno said as she sucked on a lollipop.
"Good news first," Sandy said.
"The good news is that this swamp is close to the town I live in. When we get there I may have a solution to get to Zasto, the Alien God." She answered.
"Bad news, though?" Kry asked.
"Bad news is that this air is slightly toxic. It's harmless to all of us including Sandy and Mandy, but to smaller creatures, it can end them in thirty minutes. But since your yellow mouse hasn't fully recovered yet, he may... die in fifteen minutes." Xeno explained.
Our heads turned to Agent S. He was holding Pikachu in his arms.
Pikachu was breathing heavily and rapidly.
"We have to get out of here, now." Agent S gasped.

We immediately ran forward, avoiding any spiky bushes or deep ponds.
Xeno who was in front of us all then paused. We quickly halted.
"Sorry Twage, looks like your shoes will be ruined anyway," Xeno said.
I pushed through the crowd, and in front of us was a long, brown pond with sticks and soil floating in the water.
"Do you think there are any dangerous creatures in there?" I questioned.
"Most likely... just swim through it as fast as you can. The mud at the bottom though may slow your feet down." Xeno explained.
"We are not risking it! We have to go around it, even if it takes longer." Kry said.
Then I heard a small cough.
Pikachu was now coughing. His skin was slightly pale.
"We don't have time!" I shouted.
I then dived right into the water. It was difficult pushing my legs as the water dragged me down.
Spits of water crawled into my mouth. The taste was foul like poo and wee together.
My head then escaped the water. I quickly walked across the water.
"Jeez this water is so thick!" Agent S commented.
After swimming for so long, I could see the ending of the pond.
"Almost there!" I cheered.
"Thank goodness!" Sandy barked with joy.
I was about to leap out of the water.
But then something grabbed my leg.
Before I could scream. it dragged me down into the water.

I heard foggy shouts and screams and also gunshots.
I looked below, and a slimy tentacle was wrapped around my leg.
The tentacle slowly descended below the mud below.
The bullets then entered the tentacle.
Another tentacle then shot up, grabbing onto something.
It began to descend into the mud.
It grabbed the pistol that Kry had.
I tried to grab the pistol, but it was out of my reach.
I stretched extra hard. Water crawled into my mouth.
Before I could snap my mouth open, I grabbed the pistol and shot the tentacle multiple times.
It let go, and I quickly swam up.
More water crawled into my mouth. Just a couple more kicks then I can breathe.
I did one more kick, and I leaped out of the water.
I gasped and coughed. Everyone kept questioning me.
"What the heck happened? What grabbed you down there? How did you escape?" They ask.
"You can answer those questions later. Pikachu isn't breathing anymore. We have to get out, now!" Agent S shouted.
I quickly swam out of the pond and rushed towards the exit of the swamp.
I brushed the bushes and twigs out of my way. The fog started to slowly vanished as I ventured forth.
I pushed the last branch away, letting the light touch my face.
I stopped and gasped. The others arrived behind me.
"Thank god..." Xeno sighed.

Thirty minutes after escaping the swamp. Everyone was sitting and laying on the grass.
I squeezed the rotten water out of my hair and brushed off any leaves and dirt off my clothes.
"My clothes have been through a lot..." I sighed.
"They probably smell worst then Twage." Sandy said.
"Oh shut your face!" Twage shouted.
"Don't worry, you can wash your clothes when we arrive back in my town. We should have plenty of water to wash all of you." Xeno explained as she brushed off the dirt off Mandy's fur.
Mandy barked with joy.
I then walked to Agent S and Undead who had Pikachu on the ground.
"How is he doing?" I asked.
"Okay. He's slowly breathing, but I don't know if he'll be able to recover." Undead sighed.
"In my lab, I may have some medicine for him. But we must hurry." Xeno said.
"What are we sitting around for? Captain Fat is on his way to Zasto right now! And if he reaches it, we'll be screwed and done!" Kry shouted.
"Oh jeez I forgot." Twage gasped.
"Okay lads. Off to my town!" Xeno said.

We arrived in the town. Some of the huts were burned down. Some of the people here were rebuilding some of the buildings.
"Are they all okay?" Undead asked.
Xeno walked to one of them and spoke to them. The person seemed stressed and wounded.
"He said that they are all okay. Some of them are injured and many buildings have fallen. But the town will recover and return back to normal." Xeno explained.
"Poor lads... I want to punch Captain Jack in the face so hard that all his rotten teeth fall out." Kry hissed.
"No need to be edgy Kry." Twage said.
Xeno placed Pikachu in her arms and hurried to her lab.
Before she entered the lab, she stopped and turned around.
"Oh yeah, there is a hose beside this hut to wash your clothes. Louise, follow me though." Xeno explained.
I entered the lab. Mandy sat on her small bed on the ground.
Xeno held some clothes on her arm.
"I don't think you'll be able to get rid of the smell on your clothes. So I've got this shirt and also some new pants. They are actually similar to your clothes, but it's a different colour." Xeno explained.
She gave them to me and walked to a door.
"I'll just change into some new clothes in here. Don't worry, I blindfolded Mandy." Xeno giggled as she closed the door.
After two minutes Xeno opened the door.
"How do I look?" I asked.
"You look stunning guurl. Look in the mirror." Xeno said.
I walked to a mirror, and I looked quite different but great.
My shirt was now black and my pants were green with black sports shoes.
"Where did you get these clothes?" I asked.
"The people here made them. Come out, show them to your friends." She cheered.
I went outside. Everyone seemed clean. They all gasped with surprise.
"My, my Louise... where did you get those shoes?" Twage gasped.
I shrugged.
"Very nice clothes Louise. Very nice." Undead smiled.
"So... any ideas on how to get to Zasto?" Sandy questioned.
"Maybe these people would know how to get to it?" Twage said.
"How would these poor little creatures know how to get to a moon in outer space with a big old alien on it!" I exclaimed.
"Trust me hun, I got this." Twage winked.
I gagged when he gave me that wink.

Twage spoke to one of the people. They spoke for a while, then Twage gave a huge grin.
"Apparently they discovered a large portal behind this mountain. They discovered it many years ago, but they have never been able to activate it." He explained.
Xeno then came back as Mandy walked beside her.
"He's good as new now. Look at his big, puffy cheeks." Xeno giggled.
Pikachu leaped out of Xeno's arms onto Agent S' shoulder.
"Pika pika!" Pikachu cheered.
"Anyway, these people seem to have seen a portal behind this mountain. Do you know anything about that?" Undead asked.
"Yeah... there were words in my language printed on it, saying 'The Moon Of Crystal.' I remember one night I heard strange zaps outside. Mandy and I rushed outside. I noticed purple smoke crawling from behind the mountain. The portal had purple smoke coming from the entrance of the portal. Then it zapped and opened, and a bunch of people came out. About 10, including one big robot with armour." She explained.
"So that's how they got here..." Sandy wondered out loud.
"But the portal leads to the moon, right? So how did they change the portal to the previous world?" Twage questioned.
"Captain Fat can do many things." Agent S shrugged.
"So that was the only time the portal got activated?" Undead questioned.
Xeno nodded.
"Lead us to the portal please." Undead continued.

The moonlight gazed onto the ground. The clouds began to join and grow above.
The portal stood there mysteriously with unknown meanings hidden inside of it.
Undead walked up the steps and stood right in front of the arch.
We all remained together as we stared at Undead's actions.
He pressed his hand on the wall of the portal and paused.
Then a purple glow appeared in his hand.
The portal glowed and began to grow a strong breeze.
It brushed past us rapidly. My feet began to slide back.
The portal glowed brighter. Undead still stood there with his hand pressed against the wall.
Then the breeze stopped and the glow vanished.
The portal was activated. A large vortex appeared.
Undead walked towards us and smiled.
"H-how did you do that?" Xeno gasped.
"Magic." He said.
"Well... ladies first," Twage said.
"Why is it always ladies?" Kry hissed.
"I just want to be a gentleman, okay?" Twage said.
Xeno and Mandy ran to the portal and leaped in.
"Aren't they confident," Sandy commented.
Since they ran, I did it too.
I picked up my speed and ran forward.
I hopped up the steps then dived into the portal, as the vortex covered my view.

Chapter 26 - Zasto
As soon I landed on my feet, I was greeted by Captain Jack's fellow slaves.
They all held their weapons and hands out. I held my hands in front of me.
"Welcome to the moon of Crystal, and what do we have here?" Captain Jack said as he walked towards Xeno and Mandy who were in front of me.
"What's your name little girl?" Captain Jack asked.
"Xeno, and this is Mandy. I see you have quite a crowd." Xeno said as she looked around.
"Yo Jacky boy, we could use that dog for lunch." Katy giggled.
"You aren't laying a finger on her." Xeno hissed as Mandy growled.
Then the rest of our group came in.
"I should've known they'd already be here." Kry sighed.
"Alright lads. Prepare to release your weapons." SnakeHammer commanded.
But then Katy held her hand out.
"We could use them as sacrifices for Zasto," Katy suggested.
SnakeHammer grinned and walked.
The Gods pushed us as we followed SnakeHammer.
Then he paused.
"This is the spot where Zasto was frozen," SnakeHammer explained.
"Frozen?" Agent S gasped.
"Who froze it? Why would they freeze it?! Come on! Tell me who did it and I'll chop their heads off." Xeno shouted.
"No need to be edgy mate." Captain Jack stuck his tongue out.
"Captain Jack, do you want me to explain to them," SnakeHammer questioned.
"Yeah sure, it'll take time for Zasto to wake up anyway." Captain Jack answered.

SnakeHammer sighed and looked at the ground.
"Last year, Captain Jack heard about Zasto. So he then froze him and kept him underground ever since. Nw you're all here, he's going to awaken him and use you all as sacrifices."
I looked around.
"Poor little Zasto stuck in the cold, cold ground for a year," Sandy commented.
"It's tiiime for the awakening ladies and gentlemen!" Squidling shouted.
"Shut your face Squid Wimp." Arrow hissed.
"Arrow, what's your problem?" Crystal growled.
Then all of the Gods began to argue.
"If you all keep arguing, Finn will burn you all to the ground!" SnakeHammer threatened.
"Finn?" Xeno said.
"Also known as Harry." Undead added.
In the distance, Harry stood there, as still as a rock.
"What's he doing all the way over there?" Agent S gasped.
"To summon da laaard!" Squidling cheered.
"Enough," Robo said.
Robo's voice was deeper and grumpy. The small chip missing on its helmet was still missing, and the skin around its eye still had burns on it from when I tried to burn him in the previous world.
"Okay Finn, burn the ground and wake the beast!" Captain Jack called.
A small flame spawned above the ground. It was first a small petal, but then grew into a flower.
It continued to grow into a large ball.
Then it was smashed to the ground. Smoke and dust blew in our faces. My feet began to slide back.
When the smoke cleared, a huge abyss the appeared on the ground.
I walked towards it and peered at the hole.
At the very bottom was a large egg, covered in dirt.
Then a small faint crack appeared. Then it spread across the shell.
When the crack had traveled all around the egg, it opened.

The shells spread, and I saw two blue eyes glow in the darkness.
Its face was cracked and pale. It was shaped like a human head but didn't have any hair or ears.
Its limbs began to stretch. It then stood up.
His chest revealed his rib cage, and behind the rib cage had a glowing, blue heart. Every time the heart beat, it would glow for a second.
His arms were the same but the hands had a hole in it with a blue glow in the palm of the hands.
He was as tall as a mountain.
"It's... it's him..." Xeno gasped.
Xeno quickly fell to her knees and began to whisper like she was worshipping it.
Then she sat on her knee's and put her hands together and continued whispering.
"She's quite a fan of Zasto," Kry commented.
Katy pushed Xeno, making her face plant to the ground.
She stood up and turned around angrily.
"Quit whispering." Katy hissed.
"At least show some respect hun," Xeno smirked.
Mandy began to growl at Katy.
We remained silent as Captain Jack walked forward to Zasto.
"Lord Zasto..." Captain Jack called. He went on one knee.
"We have awoken your eternal slumber, caused by the wicked. We have freed you, and we ask for a small offer." He continued.
Twage quickly threw a fire ball towards Captain Jack.
But Zasto quickly blocked the fire ball, using its hand.
"What... you mean that Zasto believes that they weren't the ones that froze him..." I gasped.
"This is a misunderstanding... he thinks that Captain Jack and his group are his allies, while we're the enemies!" Undead explained.

"As I was saying... in return for freeing you, you now should kill these people who were the ones who froze you for a year! They should be banished from reality!" Captain Jack shouted.
"That's not true!" Xeno shouted.
Zasto turned to us. His size made me feel small.
"Zasto, they were the ones that froze you! They've been trying to kill us for weeks for doing nothing!" I shouted.
Zasto then looked at Captain Jack.
Pikachu then spawned electricity around his body.
"Pikachu, don't-"
But it was too late.
A bolt of lightning was shot at Captain Jack, but Zasto once again blocked it.
Then Zasto's eyes turned red. It held it's hand out, and the hole in his palm glowed.
And in a blink of an eye, a blue bullet shot the ground, causing me to fall.
Dust fell on my face and body. I coughed as my muscles felt weak.
My hearing was fuzzy. I could just hear blurry voices. Then my ears began to ring.
Sandy rushed towards me and pushed my back.
"Come on Louise, I know you still have some strength left," Sandy grunted.
I slowly got to my feet. However, the rest of my group were unconscious.
Sandy stayed behind me. I stared at Zasto.
"Why did you do that?! You were the God who created everything, right? Why are you destroying it then! You should be protecting everything, but instead, you let these liars control you?" I shouted.
It stared at me with it's red, glowing eyes, then it faded back to blue and looked at Captain Jack.
Zasto then pointed to the portal.
"Leave."
Its voice was deep, almost hypnotic.
Captain Jack's clan all remained still.
"I said LEAVE!"
It's roar shivered the ground.

"That's it. SnakeHammer, electrocute him!" Katy commanded.
"Katy, if we kill him, everything he has made will then-"
"DO IT!" Katy interrupted Captain Jack.
"If he dies, we'll all die as well!" SnakeHammer shouted.
"As long as Louise and her group die, I don't care what happens to us..." Katy hissed.
"Look, we don't care if you don't want to live, but we want to live," Robo spoke.
"Are you talking back to me Robo? You shouldn't be a part of this team with that huge fat useless body of yours and that stupid spoon your holding."
Then Robo's eye changed, almost like it began to cry...
"Well, SnakeHammer, are you going to do it or not?" Katy questioned SnakeHammer angrily.
SnakeHammer looked around. Then he paused when he saw Pikachu, unconscious on the ground.
"No." He answered.
"Excuse me?" She gasped.
"I said no. I'm not doing it." SnakeHammer sighed.
Katy remained shocked, then narrowed her eyes.
Katy grabbed her spear on her back and whacked SnakeHammer.
He fell to the ground and remained still.
"Now... Gods, ATTACK!" Katy commanded.
All the Gods shot their power at Zasto. Zasto roared and threw a blue bullet at them.
However, Mystery spawned a shield around them, making the bullets vanish once touched by the shield.
But on the shield then grew a small crack.

I grabbed the pistol that Kry was holding and shot the shield.
The crack grew and spread across the shield.
The Gods noticed the crack caused by my pistol. They began to attack me with their spells and weapons.
I quickly rolled to the right and continued to shoot.
Suddenly, the pistol was flung out of my grip.
Then a sting of pain entered my cheek.
I fell to my side, noticing Harry there.
He held his hand out. A puff of flames began to grow in the palm of his hand.
"Louise!"
I quickly looked to my left. Sandy had the pistol in his mouth.
He dropped it and pushed it with his paw towards me. It then sat next to me.
I looked at Harry. I noticed the bandage wrapped around his shoulder. I remembered the time I stabbed him...
I grabbed the pistol and pointed it up and shot, startling him, causing the flame in his hand to vanish.
I jumped forward onto him and kept him on the ground. He strangled and wiggled.
I had to make him unconscious.
Then I quickly grabbed a small rock and whacked his head with it.
Then he stopped.
He was still breathing.
I took a sigh, but my head was almost stabbed by an arrow.
I quickly crawled towards Undead who was still knocked out.
I shook his body. He then coughed and opened his eyes.
"We need to protect Zasto!" I exclaimed.
I quickly then ducked before a lightning bolt could shock me.
"Help me get up." Undead grunted.
I held his arm and pushed him up.
"I'll spawn a shield around Zasto's core, which is the blue heart behind his rib cage." Undead explained.
A pink orb then appeared around Zasto's chest. But when a couple of spells hit the orb, it already began to crack.

Everyone else then woke up and noticed the state Zasto was in.
"We must kill them all! If they end Zasto, the whole universe will vanish!" Xeno exclaimed.
Twage shot a fire ball at the shield around Captain Jack's group. When the fire spread across purple glass of the dome, it shattered. When the pieces of the dome hit the floor, it vanished into dust.
"Attack!" Kry shouted.
Everyone bolted towards them.
Everyone attacked the Gods. Before I could attack Captain Jack, I heard the sound of shouting.
I turned around, and Xeno was attacked Katy.
They both had spears. They kept trying to stab and whack each other, but the spears would just collide and block each other.
"How dare you worship such a sick, wicked man that uses his friends as slaves!" Xeno shouted.
"Slaves? He treats us like family, unlike little Louise who treats you like a nobody." Katy hissed.
My eyes widenned, but then I quickly turned around by the sound of large stomping behind me.
Robo tried to swing his hammer at me, but I ducked.
I shot the pistol at Robo's helmet. The bullet fell to the ground as soon as it tapped the helmet.
He continued to swing the hammer towards me. I continued to jump back.
"How... dare you... try to burn me in the previous world!" He shouted.
"I couldn't control myself! Calm down!" I answered.
But he continued to swing his hammer.
Sandy then clinged onto his arm with his teeth. Robo wiggled his arm, struggling to force Sandy to release his arm.
"Louise, go!" Sandy mumbled.
I noticed Kry struggling to punch SnakeHammer. I knew I had to return his pistol.
I then heard a small yelp from behind me.
Squidling was there with a giant squid. Mandy was getting pushed and slapped by the squid's tenticles.
Sandy let go and helped Mandy defeat the Squid.
I quickly handed Kry his pistol.
"This will make this fight a LOT easier." Kry chuckled.
"Oh that's just cheating! Fight like a man!" SnakeHammer shouted.
"I'm already a man, mate." Kry winked.
Than Zasto let out a loud rorar, shivering the ground and haulting us all.

"You... all... are a danger to all..." Zasto said in his deep, menacing voice.
"All of you... must LEAVE!""
Zasto's last word shook our ears.
"Zasto, please! We were fighting for you! They were a danger to you and every creation!" Xeno pleaded.
"YOU are all a danger to every creation!" Zasto roared.
Zasto pressed his hands together then held his hands in front of him.
Then a forceful wind began to blow.
My feet began to slide back. Pikachu flew through the air.
"PIIIIKAA!" Pikachu screamed.
He was then flung right through the portal.
"Pikachu!" Agent S screeched.
He jumped forward into the portal.
Sandy and Mandy then tumbled into the portal.
Pebbles hit my face. Some of the Gods then tumbled into the portal.
Everyone else tumbled into the portal, except me.
I started to take some steps forward towards Zasto. I saw his eyes then turn red.
"LEAVE... ME... ALONE!" Zasto roared one last time.
Then a blue bullet shot right in front of me, making me fall straight into the portal.

I landed on my back. I grunted and coughed.
"Jeez, Zasto sure is one angry guy," I commented.
I got up and noticed everyone here, including Captain Jack's group.
He was holding a martini glass and was pouring some wine.
"Well, that was an interesting fight, wasn't it? All of your strength, was actually used." Captain Jack said as he drank his wine.
"They weren't strong at all! They were as weak as a feather!" Katy hissed.
"Katy now is not the time to be rude. When we're attacking, that's when we can punch their minds." SnakeHammer told Katy.
"Well let's punch their minds NOW!" Katy shouted.
She held her spear out and walked forward towards me.
Melody took the spear out of Katy's hand.
"No. We settle this in the next world." Robo said.
"The next world... what's the next world about?" I asked as I looked Undead.
"The great battle is your next memory." Undead answered.
"We will wait for you in the next world. Take all the time you need. The longer you wait, the more we get stronger. But don't be surprised if you die." Captain Jack chuckled.
He spawned a portal and hoped inside. All the Gods jumped in, except for SnakeHammer.
He looked at Pikachu. Pikachu growled.
"I'll make sure I won't let them attack Pikachu... but I will have to attack you all, otherwise Captain Jack will chop my head off. Get strong." SnakeHammer said.
Pikachu's eyes widened with surprise.
SnakeHammer patted Pikachu's head then leaped into the portal.
Then the portal closed. We all looked at each other, wondering if we should retreat and hide, or dive in and end them.

Chapter 27 - God's War
We all roamed around, keeping communication between us at minimal.
I sat on a log and thought for a minute. Why didn't Captain Jack end us when he was here? He could've easily killed us.
I looked at Undead, stroking Mandy's back.
I sighed and shook my head. No, he probably saved his energy and is training his Gods right now.
"You know, if you're worried about this battle, you can stay here while we'll do the work."
I looked to my right. Sandy sat next to me and scratched his ear.
"I'm not worried, I'm just thinking," I responded.
"About what?"
I looked at him. I couldn't resist his big puppy eyes.
"Do you think Captain Jack is really that evil?" I asked.
His eyes narrowed and licked his nose.
"Really? After a couple of years running away from a crazy pirate, a dumb witch, a bunch of slaves and a guy playing with fire, you're not really sure if he's evil or not? Jeez Louise." Sandy said grumpily.
"I mean... he let us off the hook for a an hour. When he returned here, he didn't order his Gods to kill us. He gave us time to train. If he just testing us?" I explained.
He sighed and looked away.
"He works in strange ways." He sighed.
An apple dropped to the ground in front of me.
Sandy hopped off and chewed on the apple. I sighed and looked at my hands.
I noticed Xeno leaning against the tree chomping on an apple.
I walked over to her. She looked at me and shot a smile.
"Heyo Yeese. You ready for the battle? I am. I'll stab their heart, grab it out and-"
She shut her mouth shut when my mouth curled up.
"Ahem, sorry. Sort of excited for this... anyway what about you?" She questioned.
"Quite fine. However, you may not return to your town. Have you got everything?" I asked.
"Are you saying we're gonna lose? Hah! They'll all drop dead when I breathe! When we win that battle, I'll come back here and get some ice cream to celebrate the win." She cheered.
"I mean, even if we win..." I added.
"Oh... um... I'll be fine. I have some spare cheese anyway, should help Twage's breath." She stuck her tongue out at Twage.
Twage stuck his tongue out too.
"What about the people who live in your town, will they be worried about you?" I questioned.
"They'll be fine. I have plenty of supplies in my lab they could use anyway." She explained.

"Okay, everyone. Have we all rested up and energized to take on the Gods and Captain Fat?" Agent S called.
"Ready? You think we're ready?" Kry gasped.
Kry stomped around in circles.
"We haven't trained for a second! Now our limbs are like noodles and our flesh like jelly!" Kry shouted.
"I like jelly," Twage commented.
Kry gave him a serious look. Twage gulped.
"We need to train! Punch the trees, kick the rocks, burn the whole forest down!" He commanded.
"Kry, that's a little bit too much." Undead said.
Kry took a step back and dumped his hands in his pockets.
"He is right, we do need to train, but not destroy the whole planet." Undead explained.
Minutes later, everyone was practicing punching, aiming their spells and throwing their weapons.
Except for me.
Sandy and Mandy was practicing biting a bag filled with leaves.
"Yo Louise, you really should join in the fun!" Agent S said as he threw his spear at a tree.
"No thanks..." I answered.
"Oh come on, it'll make your muscles pop!" Twage said.
"You don't even have any muscles." Xeno giggled.
Twage hissed and continued to aim his spells at a rock.
I chewed on an apple and observed everyone.
A shot of lightning just missed me. I dropped my apple with shock.
"Pika... pika chu!" Pikachu gasped.
I sighed again and narrowed my eyes.
I stared at Undead, walking around, observing everyone's actions.
I noticed a purple glow behind him in the distance.
I stood up and walked towards it.
It was like the glow was pulling me towards us. I didn't stop.
Then I saw the outline of a portal.
I stopped in front of it. I saw the vortex forever flowing inside.
I wanted to just turn around and leave. I just wanted to be with the others.
But I walked in any way.

I landed right on my stomach. I continued to cough until I saw the tip of a spear right up to my eyes.
"Hold it right there squirt. Ha ha, I knew you'd be curious where they portal would take you.
I looked up, and Captain Jack, Katy, and the Gods surrounded me.
"Stupid, foolish girl..." Katy hissed.
"Now now Katy." Captain Jack said.
"Oh for goodness sake Jacky boy. Every time we try to kill them, you instead say not now. Then they end up escaping. Just kill her for goodness sake!" She ordered.
The Gods held their hands and weapons out.
"I said not now." Captain Jack said slightly louder.
They all then lowered their hands.
"Why not Captain Jack?" Crystal asked.
"We could use her to lure the others in." Captain Jack suggested.
They all looked at each other then finally nodded.
"Harry, will you teleport her to the cage of shame?" Katy chuckled.
Harry then walked in front of me. I gulped.
Then in a blink of an eye, I was in a cage made of ice.
I punched one of the bars of the cage but punching it damaged me, not the cage.
"SnakeHammer my love, keep an eye on her, okay?" Katy commanded.
He nodded and walked towards me.
"You know, I really don't want to attack you all, but if I don't, Captain Jack would kill me. I'll try and be as soft as possible, especially on Pikachu," He whispered.
My eyes widened. Is he really... on our side?
"But I can't stand Kry. He makes me sick. I want to punch him as hard as I can." He added.
I gasped then scratched my back.
Okay, maybe he isn't that good... but almost.
Then a portal appeared, and my group exited out of it and immediately shot their spells and weapons at them.

My eyes widened, they all seemed so strong in such a short amount of time.
Robo swung his hammer right in front of them, making them shiver.
"Enough," Robo commanded.
They all held still.
"Welcome to your 6th adventure lads!" Captain Jack welcomed.
All of them looked around. I observed my view too since I didn't have time to do that.
We were in an abandoned city. The glass on the skyscrapers was shattered, the walls were crumbled and everything was still and silent.
"Quite a place you have here huh" Sandy commented.
"So, I see you've come here to rescue someone," SnakeHammer said.
"Who?" Kry said.
My heart sank as soon as he said that.
"We don't know what you're talking about. We're here to end you once and for all!" Agent S shouted.
"What about her? Did you forget about your sweet, little friend?" Squidling questioned.
"What are you talking ab-"
Twage froze when he saw me.
"Wait, weren't you with us before? How did you get here?!" He gasped.
My eyes twitched.
"Wow, they really forgot about you huh?" SnakeHammer whispered to me.
I breathed heavily. They all stared at me.
"Why did you forget about me?!" I shouted.
"We didn't!" Sandy gasped.
"Then why did you all just come here like I don't exist?" I continued to shout. I felt the warmth on my fire grow.
"She's kind of got a point." Xeno shrugged.
"Look how selfish she is... not grateful for you coming here to save her!" Katy laughed.
"Do you really want to sacrifice your lives for her? You can either just leave and let us take care of her or be a fool and risk your lives?" Katy asked.

They all looked at each other.
"We will stand up for anyone, enemy or ally!" Twage shouted.
"Ahem, enemy?" Agent S said.
"Okay, maybe not the enemy... but certainly for allies!" Twage added.
Kry facepalmed and looked at Undead who shrugged.
"Suit yourself," Katy said.
She leaped forward with the spear. Sandy bit onto the spear and wriggled it around.
The gods began to shoot their spells. Undead spawned a shield as Twage continued to shoot some fireballs.
As Sandy bit onto the spear, Xeno punched Katy's face.
Katy flung the spear, making Sandy slide across the floor and tried to stab Xeno
but Mandy then leaped onto Katy's face, making her fall to the ground.
Kry rushed straight towards Captain Jack with the pistol in his hand.
SnakeHammer then jumped in front of Captain Jack and shot a lightning at Kry's hand, flinging his pistol straight into a window.
He then punched Kry right at his stomach then at his head, knocking him out.
He held his hand straight up to his face, charging up his power.
Suddenly, a fire ball splashed onto the side of his face.
He pressed his hand on his cheek and stared at Twage angrily.
Twage fired another fire ball again. It flew past SnakeHammer. Captain Jack then leaped out of the way.
But when he leaped, something fell out of his pocket.
A lighter; used to light his cigarette. I could use it to melt the ice and escape.
I quickly picked up a stick beside me and reached towards the lighter.
The end of the stick just touched the lighter. I then slid it towards me.
I grabbed it and held it close to the ice. A small dent in on one of the poles then grew.
But then someone stood right in front of the cage.
"Let me help." Harry giggled.
He held his hand and a spark of fire began to evolve.

A fire shot just above me. Parts of the ice melted.
Then he charged up one more flame to finish me off.
When the flame was big enough, he turned around and shot the fire at Agent S who was about to stab him with an arrow.
Agent S coughed but then continued to fight.
I held the lighter again. The ice continued to melt faster.
Suddenly, a bullet shot right at the lighter. It flung out of my hand and slid across the ground away from me.
I looked at Captain Jack, he blew the smoke coming out of his pistol and smiled.
Mandy and Sandy slowly walked towards Katy, who took some steps back.
She then quickly picked up her spear off the ground and tried to stab them with it.
Sandy bit onto the point of the spear and refused to let go.
"Let go you stupid ball of fur!" She shouted.
Mandy then bit onto her leg. She began to scream.
"You stupid creatures! Let go!" She screamed.
Robo then swung his hammer onto the ground, startling Sandy and Mandy.
Pikachu threw thunder at Robo. He blocked it with his hammer.
They rushed behind the shield that Undead was keeping up.
"How long can this shield stay up for?" Sandy asked as he breathed heavily.
"Not for so much longer... but keep trying to kill the Gods, they'll soon get tired!" Undead shouted.
Suddenly, the clouds above began to grow gray.
The clouds all joined together and roared.
Then a lightning shot down onto the shield, causing it to shatter.
The Gods then walked towards them all. They were trapped.
Agent S, Twage, Undead, Sandy, Pikachu, Xeno and Mandy were about to get killed.
I punched onto the cage stronger. I began to cry in anger.
"Looks like it's the end of the line to you all." Katy chuckled.

The Gods held their hands and weapons out.
"Get ready..." Katy said.
Their spells began to grow.
"Aim..."
"FIRE!" Katy shouted.
I shut my eyes closed as hard as I could.
I heard gun shots. I heard cries and screams.
"They're gone... they're gone because of me..." I whispered to myself. Tears strolled down my cheeks.
"What... what have you done?!"
I opened my eyes. One of them was dead.
But it wasn't anyone from my group.

Robo was on the ground. He remained still.
The Gods turned around. They all stared at Kry, who was on the ground with his pistol.
"Goodbye... you freaks." He whispered.
He shot the pistol again. Another God was down.
He kept shooting. I shut my eyes again.
When it was silent, I opened my eyes. Kry now was aiming his pistol at SnakeHammer.
When he pulled the trigger, the pistol clicked. It was out of ammo.
Captain Jack landed on his knees. He stared at the blood on the ground and all the bodies.
He remained silent.
Katy stared at Captain Jack. SnakeHammer looked down. Everyone remained quiet.
Then Harry appeared behind them. He stared straight at the bodies.
"You... you are all monsters..." He whispered.
"Harry, teleport us away. Now." Captain Jack commanded softly.
They then vanished. We all looked at Kry.
"I had to. I couldn't let you all got killed." Kry sighed.
Undead stepped towards him.
"I was trying to protect you all!" He began to shout.
Undead didn't stop walking.
"You're the only people I have in my life!" He cried.
Undead went on his knees.
"That was the bravest thing you did." Undead said.
Kry stared at him. I held my breath.
Then Kry burst into tears. He just broke.
Undead patted his back.

Xeno walked towards me. She cut the bars of ices. I squeezed out and looked at her.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm fine. We all survived... barely. But one is still broken." She said as she looked at Kry.
"He's never killed so many people at once... sure he's harmed people, but never killed. It's easier said than done. When he threatens to kill everyone, he wanted us to do it..." Xeno explained.
"Death is his fear." She added.
My eyes widened. I continued to hear Kry sob.
"Hopefully he'll become braver and stronger now," I said.
She nodded and walked towards Mandy and patted her.

Then it was just like before we killed the Gods. We were all silent.
Thoughts flooded my mind again.
Then Sandy sat next to me, just like before.
"I just can't believe their... gone. I thought it'll be impossible to kill them but... I just can't believe it really." Sandy said.
"It's like a giant weight just lifted off our backs... but I was used to the weight, you know?" I said.
He licked his lips and looked at the ground.
"Even when there gone, I don't know if our job will be easier or harder." He said.
We stared at the ground.
Even when some darkness is gone, it still feels like it's pitch black.
Even when the light is brighter, it still feels dark.
Even when we're safe, it still feels like we're going to die.
Even when we're alive, it feels like we're dead.

Chapter 28 - Welcome To Hell
Hours past and words were still silent.
Movement was still, and views were dark.
Agent S and Twage returned with shovels on their hands.
Small splatters of blood remained on their hands and clothes. They remained with frowns on their faces.
"You buried the bodies?" I asked.
They both nodded and walked over to Kry, who was on his knees next to Undead.
Kry wasn't as upset as before, but he was still stale.
I then looked at Sandy, sitting beside me.
"He's still quite rotten, isn't he?" Sandy questioned.
"Yep," I answered.
"Death isn't always satisfying you know," He stated.
"When you really stare at the eyes of your victims, it can really affect you." He continued.
I looked down at my knees.
Would this have happened if I didn't wander into the portal?
I narrowed my eyebrows then walked to Kry. He looked up at me then quickly looked down.
"Did you see their eyes when I shot them?" He said softly.
"Not closely, but I guess," I answered.
"Their eyes were just... filled with shock and betrayal... I never thought death could be so... just so horrifying." He complained.
"Why didn't we just put them to sleep and make them unconscious and escape! Instead, I ended their lives!" He began to shout.
"It was the only thing you could do, there was no other way. If you didn't shoot them, we'd be dead, and you probably would've died too." Undead explained.
"There must've been another way," Kry said.
"That was the only way." I sighed.
Kry sighed and stared at his pistol, then threw it straight at a window, shattering it to pieces.

"Are you all ready to advance to the next world? We're going to the 7th world." Undead announced.
Everyone nodded, except for Kry.
"Kry, maybe you could stay here and relax," Twage suggested.
"No, I'll come." He said.
Undead held his hand out and the outline of the arch spawned. Then the inside of it appeared with a purple vortex.
Everyone went in the portal. I was about to enter the portal until I paused and turned around.
Kry stood there, staring at me.
"Are you sure you're ready?" I asked.
He nodded, so I quickly leaped into the portal.
Once I landed, a smell of smoke entered my nose.
I examined my view, and I should've expected it.

We were greeted with an arch, with words imprinted on it saying "Welcome to Hell."
"Well, at least it was nice of them to welcome us," Twage said.
Mandy was shivering and whimpering.
"She doesn't like the smell of smoke," Xeno explained.
She picked her up and placed her in her backpack.
"Well, I guess we have to follow this path beyond that arch," I said.
So we followed the path.
When we ventured further down the path, ponds of lava spread across the ground and dripped from the ceiling.
Monsters and demons crawled, swam or flew across the area.
Bones and flesh were scattered across the zone, including some skulls floating in the lava.
"What a nice, friendly place..." Sandy gulped.
Suddenly, a cold hand grabbed my mouth, refusing me to scream.
Slowly I got dragged away. I struggled and kicked, but I didn't have enough strength.
I was then pushed against the wall. A demon stood in front of me.
Two horns sat on top of its head, with its teeth sticking out and skin cracked and wrinkled, it didn't have any clothes on either, but I managed to not look too far down.
It bit right on my shoulder. I screamed and punched its head. It hissed then slapped me.
I then pushed it with maximum force, making it slip right into a pool of lava.
Seconds later, I saw some bones float up to the top of the lava.

I sighed and took a minute to breathe.
Then my eyes widened and peeked around the wall I was against.
My group was still walking... they didn't even notice I was there.
I wondered for a second. Do they really need me?
I don't have any spells or weapons, any sharp teeth or claws or have much strength.
At the corner of my eye appeared a glow of gold.
I looked to my right and a small cave was giving off a strong glow.
I shifted towards it slowly, the glow remained strong.
I paused. I started to think.
I turned around, my group still haven't stopped.
So I went in the cave.
I grabbed a torch attached to the wall of the cave.
I looked up and noticed how the rocks above were quite unstable.
I knew I had to be quick.
Then at the end of the cave was a rock with a shiny weapon on top.
I brushed off the dust and moss on the rock. Words were imprinted on it.

'Once held by a form known to bring light to land
will suffer with the weapon in the palm of their hand.
Darkness contained in the strength of the point,
but if controlled, it will destroy the shadows joint.
Deep inside this axes end,
Shall either turn a friend to foe, or a foe to friend.
On this rock is where the axe shall lie,
without a master, darkness never dies.'

Darkness never dies... what does this mean?
Pebbles tapped onto my hand when I held it out.
I wondered for a moment, should I leave this holy weapon and quickly escape, or become its master and become worthy to others.
I held the torch in my hand firmly.
I took a deep breath then grabbed the axe.
Sudden bright colors flashed before my eyes.
High pitched sounds beeping in my ear.
I dropped my torch. I took some steps back.
I heard my heart beat faster and faster.
Then, silence.
It was still and quiet...
until I smelt smoke.

I quickly looked down. The torch had lit heaps of sticks around the area.
The flames grew and engulfed every stick.
I coughed and rushed to the exit.
But a bunch of demons then arrived at the exit, who were pushing boulders at the exit.
They were giggling and hissing.
I quickly rushed towards them before they could push the last boulder.
But just before I could rush out, the last boulder covered the gap.
I punched the rock, calling for help.
I leaned my back against the boulders, staring at the fire crawling forward.
I wondered what to do until the axe in my palm was caught in my sight.
I stared at it, wondering if there was enough strength to crush through these boulders, or will it just break it.
Then I slashed the boulders, and they were cut in half immediately.
I slashed again. The boulder was sliced like a cake.
The boulders were then sliced into small pebbles. Then I saw the demons, beginning to crawl towards me.

I knew i couldn't kill all of them, so I'll just maybe cut their shoulders then escape.
So I cut one of their shoulders. I was going to escape until I saw the blood ooze out.
For some reason, I slashed them more. More dark blood dripped to the ground.
I thought that was enough, but I wanted more.
I then stabbed one of them. It's body flopped to the ground.
That was enough, but I continued.
After minutes of continuous stabs and cuts, I finally paused.
Why didn't I stop? Why did I keep going even though I didn't want to;
I stared at my axe. Dark smoke began to flow near my axe.
I then heard arguing.

I rushed to a wall and pressed my back against it, then peeked at my view.
In the distance near a large river of lava were my friends and Captain Jack's small group.
I couldn't hear much, but I could hear Jack's mighty voice, filled with sobs.
"You took everything away from me!" He shouted.
"So I'll take you all and rebuild people who actually cared about me!" He continued.
I saw my group take a step back then hold their spells and weapons.
Harry teleported behind them and grabbed Sandy. Then he disappeared with Sandy. Captain Jack, Katy, and SnakeHammer then disappeared.
I heard them gasping and wondering what to do. Sweat dribbled down my face.
I stared at my axe, wondering what I should do.
I knew they'd probably be displeased by my new weapon. Kry would probably then get mad. I didn't want his feelings to be even worse.
They'd force me to get rid of it. I decided that I'll rescue Sandy myself, for their sake.
So I ran away from my group to find Sandy.

I paused at a skeleton on the ground. All its flesh was gone, but it's bone remained.
I then noticed a backpack on it's back.
I grabbed it and shook what it contained.
All that remained was a dusty map with some rips on it.
I held it and observed. Apparently, a fortress was close, probably Captain Jack's base.
How does he have so many bases? Didn't he just arrive here? He couldn't have had time to build it.
Maybe Harry teleported their original base to here.
I shoved my axe in the backpack.
So I hurried to where the fortress appeared to be.

I crawled on the ground and stared at the fortress almost touching the ceiling.
The bricks were a dark rose colour. The bricks had cracks in them and some were even sticking out or missing.
I hurried to the entrance which was a large gate that was shut.
There was a small electric lock with a speaker on it.
'Pa-Passw-wor-word.' It said.
I thought for a second, viewing every single word I've seen in my memory.
"Captain-"
'Wr-Wrong password. Go aw-away.'
I didn't even have time to say Fat after that.
I tried to think of more words.
"Darkness..."
The speaker remained silent.
"Darkness is-"
'Wr-Wrong password. Go aw-away.' It said once again.
It gave me time to answer... perhaps darkness was a part of the password.
I tried to think of the word darkness... then I remembered the quote from the stone that had the axe on it.
"Darkness never dies..." I whispered.
My eyes widened.
"Darkness never dies!" I answered louder.
'C-Correct pass-password. Welcome to J-Jack's Fortressss.'
The gate then shifted open. I went inside, keeping low.
The torches blazed on the walls.
I noticed a room slightly glowing.
I quickly entered and shut the door behind me. I observed my view, and there was Sandy.

"Sandy!" I gasped.
"Shhhh..." He whispered.
He was in a container with tubes sticking inside of it connected to a machine with a bunch of buttons.
I rushed to the machine and examined all the buttons and levers.
"Is there an umm... release switch?" I questioned.
"How would I know?" He hissed.
I then noticed a button labelled 'Release.'
Perhaps this means to release the victim.
I was about to push the button, until...
"Don't make a single move, you freak."
I froze. My fingernail was just above that button.
I slowly turned around. Captain Jack, Katy, SnakeHammer and Harry were there.
"How dare you destroy everything I've had!" Captain Jack hissed.
"Mate, you've tried to destroy everything I've had, including my life." I sighed.
"You shut your mouth, dead meat. Or your pet rat becomes your enemy." Katy threatened.
"What do you mean enemy?" I questioned.
"Once the gas is released, he wouldn't be a little, harmless dog anymore," Captain Jack explained.
"He'll then be my little monster." He added.
SnakeHammer sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Come on now boss isn't that a little-"
"Shut your face, you brick." Katy hissed.
I looked at SnakeHammer. He sighed and looked away.
"The gas is ready, sir."
I quickly turned around, and Harry was already at the machine.
"Excellent Finn. Just hold on a second, we've got someone to deal with first..." Captain Jack said as he stepped forward.

"I wasn't the one who killed the Gods, okay?" I shouted.
"Excuses... bloody excuses." Captain Jack murmured.
I took some more steps back as he continued to march forward.
"Prepare your lightning SnakeHammer," Katy commanded.
"Ma'am, you are not the boss," SnakeHammer answered rudely.
"Are you talking back to me? Charge up your lightning or I'll stuff a bunch of lava down your throat." Katy hissed.
SnakeHammer narrowed his eyes while sparks of thunder began to grow in his hands.
Suddenly, a couple of pebbles landed on my head. I gulped.
"I'm done with the trouble you've created." Captain Jack hissed.
"WE'RE done with your existence." He added.
"SnakeHammer, get ready," Katy commanded.
I saw a crack grow in the ceiling. I gulped, waiting for it to crash down.
"And... FI-"
The ceiling collapsed. Dust and pebbles exploded onto my face.
I heard the bricks drop onto the ground.
On top of all the broken bricks were my friends with their weapons out.
"Louise, we told you to save the fun for us!" Kry laughed.
I chuckled while Captain Jack rapidly looked around with a shocked look on his face.
"Anyway, lads... attack!" Xeno commanded.

They all charged. I quickly rushed to the container with Sandy in it.
"Louise, duck!" Sandy shouted.
I quickly ducked, just missing the spear that stabbed the wall.
I punched Katy's legs, making her fall.
I then looked at the machine. Harry was pushing many buttons.
I tried to punch him, but he punched me right in the guts first.
I fell on the ground and held my stomach tight.
A flame then landed right next to me. I rolled to my right, letting Undead help me get up.
"Figure out how to make Sandy escape, I'll take care of Harry." Undead explained.
Undead pulled Harry's arm towards him, causing Undead to head butt him.
Harry fired some fireballs, but Undead created a mini shield around him.
They continued to fight as I snuck to the machine.
I stared at all the buttons.
However, a lightning shot onto the machine. Some of the lights on the buttons then vanished.
I looked up, and SnakeHammer was there, biting his lip.
Xeno then tried to punch him, but SnakeHammer pushed her out of the way.
SnakeHammer tried to grab her back, but Mandy bit on his hand when she saw his hand enter the back pack she was in.
I pressed one of the buttons, but it did nothing.
I began pressing ever button, but none of them worked.
Then I saw one, blinking. The 'release' button.
This has to work.
But then, a pistol pressed my forehead. Captain Jack stood there.
Everyone paused and stared at me.
"One more movement, then the trigger will be pulled." Captain Jack shouted.
Everyone remained silent.
"Good." He said.
I saw his finger slowly pull the trigger.
I slowly dug my hand in my back pack.
Then I felt a handle of something smooth...
The axe.

I pulled it out and cut the pistol in half before he could shoot.
I just wanted to push the button, but I continued slashing at him.
He kept leaping back as I tried to stab him.
Katy ran towards me with her spear.
I kicked her in the legs, making her fall to her knees.
But she then grabbed onto my axe when I tried to stab her.
Twage tried to fire a fire ball at her, but she quickly ducked while still holding the axe.
Agent S then pushed her, making her let go.
I then rushed to the machine and pushed the release button.
Every paused. I stared at the containing.
'Releasing gas.'
That's when I realised that was the wrong button.

I saw the container fill with gas. I heard Sandy cough and choke.
I tried to run towards it, but Harry had his arm around me.
Mandy leaped out of the back pack she was in and bit onto the tube connected to the container.
She pulled and pulled until it then broke.
The gas filled the air. I began to cough.
SnakeHammer then shot a lightning at the machine. The gas then stopped.
Pikachu then shot his lightning at the container. Glass then shattered onto the ground.

"We'll get them next time, boss." Harry grunted as he still held onto me.
I then leaped out of his arms and dragged Sandy out of the container.
It was unconscious.
"Teleport them away, hopefully, the dog will then attack them and rip out their hearts!" Katy laughed.
It was then pitch black for 2 seconds, then we appeared in an open space of just red rocks and some lava ponds.
"Sandy, please breathe!" I gasped.
He wasn't breathing.
"This was all my fault... if I pressed the right button I could've saved him..." I sobbed.
Everyone else remained silent.
"Are you going to help me or what?" I shouted.
They all looked at each other.
"Louise... just what's that in your hand." Undead asked.
I looked at my hand, and the axe was still being held.
"A golden axe... where did you get it from?" Agent S asked.
"A cave I guess." I answered as I shrugged.
"The way you kept trying to attack Captain Jack like that... it's a dangerous weapon, you have to get rid of it." Undead explained.
"Why? Isn't it good that I wanted to kill Captain Jack? So he can actually get off our backs? Isn't that what we wanted ever since we started this journey?" I shouted.
"We're not going to kill him, unlike how I killed the Gods." Kry explained.
"Why?" I murmured.

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu gasped.
I turned around. Pikachu pointed at Sandy's eye.
It was twitching. He's going to awaken! He isn't dead after all!
His legs began to twitch and his teeth began to chatter.
Then his eyes opened, and they were red with his pupil in an oval shape and filled with darkness and emptiness.

You know, I've got a suprise for you coming up whem you finished your very VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY last chapter. ;)

 

Original stuff, I like this. You need to proofread though. A lot of it is really weird, not because of the fiction but because of the use of words. Here's an example of a short story writing prompt I've been working on.

I woke up with a plastic bottle in one hand and a stinging pain running up the other, must have overslept and had my hand trapped under me… I turned my head to a more comfortable position and saw that there was broken furniture lying across the floor. The pillow I was sleeping on had its sleeping case torn open to reveal the cotton, chairs toppled; missing their legs, the television smashed, the beanbag pouring out scattered styrofoam balls, broken glass lay on the floor and the unbalanced lamp dangled dangerously on its remaining wire. I sat up, eyes staring blankly as the lamp fell onto the corner of the broken table, the light bulb shattering glass over the carpet. I never realized the amount of mess that has been caused, and was surprised to see how calm I actually was even with the unlevelled scenery just sitting in front of me.

I forcibly dragged myself off the sofa I had been sleeping on and the stinging pain on my arm reacted immensely, I dropped the bottle onto the ground and looked down at my hand to see that the blood that had been on my palm was already beginning to dry, but the force I had applied onto it while getting up had caused the wound to open up again, and more blood begun to seep through. I looked away, blood didn’t bother me, I never had the irrational fear of blood, I never understood why people are actually afraid of things, although I’ve heard from someone it’s how our body reacts to danger that keeps us alive, just more stupid conspiracies. To me, fear is simply something that perverts us from our potential. I was looking out the window deep in my thoughts, it not that bad of a day. There were streaks of dark clouds scarring the sky from last night’s rainstorm, although higher up there was a clear sky. I felt the blood trickling down my fingers and I wiped it on my pants without looking down. I remembered closing the curtains but it was probably the wind that drew the curtain wide,

Chapter 29 - Jack's Past
All I could hear now was heavy breathing, coming from Sandy.
He slowly got on his feet. Scars were revealed on his skin, containing dark blood.
My hand felt a cold breeze.
My heart sat in my throat. I breathed heavily, but my lungs still felt empty.
Sandy stared at me. His pupil began to expand.
He leaped onto my chest.
I fell onto my back as his strong limbs pressed against my body.
I held his neck as he rapidly slammed his teeth together close to my face.
"Get off!" I screeched.
Agent S grabbed Sandy as he began to swing his head side to side.
He tried to bite Agent S's head, but he placed his hand on Sandy's mouth.
"What the hell is wrong with him?" Kry gasped.
"What should we do with him? He can't hold him forever." Xeno questioned.
Agent S held Sandy on the ground.
Sandy continued to snarl and struggle.
Suddenly, he then bit right into Agent S' arm.
He screamed as he stared at the blood, dripping from his wound.
With his our hand, he then punched Sandy right on the jaw.
Sandy then got knocked out.

Agent S sighed and leaned back.
Xeno held his arm and wrapped it with toilet paper.
"Sorry, that's the only thing I have. Don't worry, I haven't used it." Xeno winked.
"How long do you think he'll be knocked out for?" Twage questioned.
"Well, he did hit him pretty hard, so approximately thirty minutes." Undead answered.
While everyone stared at Sandy and chatted for a solution, I took a couple of steps forward away from them.
I felt my stomach get sore... this was all my fault.
Why didn't I save him earlier... why didn't I just break the container he was in with my axe?
I knew I couldn't let any more of my friends to get turned into monsters, I had to look for answers.
How did this war start anyway? Maybe we could actually fix it if we knew why Captain Jack hated us so much.
I know it was something to do with 'being the best scientist of all time', but there had to be more answers.
In the very distance above all the hills, lava ponds and monsters was the fortress.
I looked back at the group, then at my hands.
Scars scattered around my hand.
I bit my lip and observed the fortress.
Then I marched towards it, quickly.

I arrived at the gate. I took a deep breath.
"Pa-ass-"
"Darkness never dies." I interrupted.
The gate opened. I hurried in.
I walked down the hallway, checking every room.
Then I noticed a bunch of shelves in one room. I rushed in, slamming the door behind me.
I quickly examined each book's covers. Perhaps it could expose some clues.
Then I noticed one book, covered in dust.
I held it and blew the dust and read the words on the front.
'Valdy's Diary.' It reads.
Who's Valdy? A brother? A father?
I flipped through the papers.
I stopped half way through the book.
'Day 35. I loved her so much. She was the light to me. I had to let her know I loved her.
Tomorrow, I'll go up to her, say how I felt, then my life would be complete. Let's hope this goes well.'
I slowly turned to the page, and the paper had rips on it and the hand writing was more spiky.
'I'm done...

I told her my feelings. I told her what my heart felt. At first her face lit, but then she frowned.
She loved another man... a wicked man known as Undead.'
I gasped. Then I noticed foot steps coming closer.
I looked through the window on the door. Someone then walked past.
I quickly read some more.
'I couldn't believe it... I loved her more then anything. I don't know what to do.'
I turned to the next page, and there was a splatter of blood on the side of the page.
'I murdered her.'

I paused and covered my mouth with my hand.
I turned the page. Only a couple more pages were left.
'I feel so guilty... I can't believe it... I don't know what to do. The police will arrive soon to investigate... I must change my identity... to Jack!'
"Jack isn't his real name!" I gasped.
"Who's there?"
I gasped and ducked onto the ground.
I held my breath, waiting for the foot steps to get quiet.
Then I heard knocking on the door.
"Hello? Captain Jack, is that you?"
I could hear SnakeHammer's voice.
"Who's in there!" He shouted.
He tried to push the door. Luckily, I already locked it.
"Harry, burn this door down!" He commanded.
I examined my view and noticed a book shelf in the very corner of the room with nothing next to it.
It looked suspicious. I pushed it and noticed a small hole, just big enough for me to crawl through.
The door then slammed opened. I slid into the hole and crawled with the diary still in my hand.
"Hey! Get back here now!" I heard Harry shout.
I could smell smoke... Harry was about to spray fire at me.
I then quickly got on my feet. I felt the fire just touch the back of my foot, but it was not big enough to engulf me.
I quickly ran as fast as I could away.

I then arrived at my group, all surprised to see me.
"Where the hell were you? Goofing off again... that's how you get killed you know." Agent S shouted.
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu growled.
I walked towards Sandy, still knocked out.
"In 5 minutes he's probably going to awaken... but he probably won't have enough energy to start biting us." Undead explained.
I bit my lip as I looked at his helpless body.
"Louise, what's in your hand?" Xeno asked.
"Captain Jack's past... explains a bit about why he's so crazy and his identity," I explained.
Kry grabbed the diary and looked at it.
He then opened it. After a couple of seconds, he looked at Undead.
"Undead, have you ever loved a woman in your life?" Kry asked.
"Why would you ask such a thing?" He questioned with a confused look on his face.
"In this diary it say's that a woman loved you, which broke Jack's heart." He explained.
Undead sighed and bit his lip.
"A woman did love me, but I didn't love her at all. She only cared about my looks, always forcing me to wear makeup so I don't loose my 'beauty'. I was sick of her, so after a couple of months, I left her." Undead explained.
Kry turned the page. His jaw then dropped.
"He... he killed her... what a wicked thief!" He shouted.
"Turn to the next page..." I sighed.
He then turned the page. He then sat down.
"His real name is Valdy..." He said.
Everyone froze and stared at Kry.
"V-Valdy? Heh, sounds like Moldy... Moldy Valdy!" Twage laughed.
"Apparently he's become guilty about murdering her," Kry exclaimed.
He turned to the last page. He then dropped the book in shock.

"There's some light in him after all," Kry said.
"I can't believe I said that." He added.
"What does it say?" Xeno questioned.
"He now wants to be a scientist to revive her and love her again." He explained.
"I think I know the final piece to this puzzle!" Agent S exclaimed.
"Now many years later, he kept bumping into failures after many tries on reviving her, making him crazy and angry." Agent S suggested.
"That must be it!" Twage gasped.

A fire ball then shot past in front of my face. Captain Jack, Katy, SnakeHammer and Harry arrived.
Katy then charged towards me with a spear. I grabbed the tip of the spear.
"We're not going to harm you.. we want answers," I said seriously.
"Oh shut it! I know you want to kill us, so I'm going to kill you all first!" Katy hissed.
"Katy.. put the spear down." Undead said.
Katy slammed the spear on the ground and stuck her tongue out.
"What kind of... answers do you want?" SnakeHammer asked.
"Oh enough of this! Harry, burn them to ashes!" Captain Jack commanded.
"Valdy." I said.
Captain Jack then paused.
"What did you just say?" He asked.
"Valdy... that's your real name, isn't it." I said.
He then held a cigar close to his mouth.
"Valdy? I haven't heard that name in years."
"Valdy? What kind of name is that!" Katy laughed.
"Shut your face, Katy." SnakeHammer said grumpily.
"How did you know that." Captain Jack questioned.
Kry held his diary up. Jack grabbed it and flicked through the pages.
"Captain Jack, there is still some good in you..." I said calmly.
"Not really! He captured people, turned them into Gods and used them as slaves!" Twage shouted.
"Actually, they were adopted..."

I gasped.
"Ad-adopted?"
Captain Jack nodded.
"I adopted them when they were young teens. Years later, they all got a rare disease, infecting their brain, causing them to loose their memory, then their mind." He explained.
"I turned them into Gods to replace their mind and make them survive and also get powers to protect themselves." He continued.
My eyes widened...
Is he really that bad after all?
Is this even a war?
Then his eyes narrowed.
"But... but now there gone... because of you!" He shouted.
He dug his hand in his pocket and held out a pistol, pointing at Kry.
Suddenly, a blur rushed past Captain Jack, and his pistol was gone.
The blur scratched his legs. He fell to the ground, pressing his palm onto the wound.
Then the blur held still, revealing Sandy.

I noticed his teeth as sharp as a knife and his fur prickly.
His claws had grown and had pinches of blood on them.
Twage shot a fire ball near his feet. He shrieked then rushed away.
"Run after him!" I shouted.
I ran forward, until I got whacked onto my cheek.
I fell on my back. I pressed my hand on my cheek. I stared at my fingers that had a swipe of blood.
The tip of the spear was then right up to my face.
"You aren't going anywhere, twerp!" Katy shouted.
Kry punched Katy right on the jaw and pulled my hand, helping me get up.
"Kill them!" Captain Jack commanded.
Harry began to spray fire at us. Luckily, Undead quickly spawned a shield.
When Harry stopped spraying the fire, the shield already had cracks in it.
"Harry has become stronger..." Undead gasped.
"Louise, go after Sandy, we can hold them off!" Kry commanded.
"But-"
The shield then shattered.
"Pika pika!" Pikachu pointed.
I quickly ran as fast as I could.

I quickly stopped as I leaned against a wall of red rocks.
I breathed heavily. I pressed my hand on my cheek again.
"Louise!"
I turned around, and Xeno was there, running towards me.
She then stopped in front of me, breathing heavily.
"Why are you here? You should be with the others." I stated.
"I ain't letting you go on your own, girl." She said.
I then saw Mandy's head peek out of her back pack.
Mandy licked her nose then ducked back in the back pack.
"Plus Mandy hated the noise as well." She shrugged.
"Okay fine you can come." I said.
I walked forward, until I felt a tap on the shoulder.
"Lollipop? Strawberry flavoured. Thought you'd like one for the road." She winked.
I held the lollipop and popped it in my face and smiled.

We discovered a cave with a bunch of boulders in front of it, but some were sliced in half.
"I know this cave..." I said.
"You do? Well what a nice home you have hun." She giggled.
"I was in there... I remember slicing those boulders..."
Then I saw a bunch of bones and skulls on the groumd.
"...and killing these demons." I added.
"With what?" Xeno asked.
I then dug my hand in my back pack, then I held out the axe.
I heard a bark inside the cave.
We slowly walked in, noticing scratches on the walls.
"Jeez, Sandy's gone crazy..." She gasped.
I heard Mandy softly whimper.
Then at the very end of the cave was Sandy, scratching his head and ears and rapidly shaking his body.
"End... the pain..." He whispered.
I looked at my axe.
"Louise don't." Xeno said.
"This might be the only way to end his suffering." I suggested.
"But there must be a way to help him! We can't just end him now!" She shouted.

Mandy then hopped out of Xeno's back pack and slowly walked towards Sandy.
"Mandy, get back here!" Xeno commanded quietly.
But Mandy continued to walk towards him.
Sandy continued to shake and shiver.
She then sniffed Sandy's nose. Sandy opened his eyes.
He then paused and stared at Mandy. His nose slightly shiverered.
"He... he recognises her." I said softly.
But seconds later, Sandy shut his eyes again and shivered more.
"He's getting worst, we have to find some kind of medicine that can fix him." Xeno exclaimed.
I picked Sandy up and laid him in my arms. I could feel his prickly fur shiver on the skin on my arms while he dribbled on my hand. I began to worry.
We headed to the entrance of the cave. But at the entrance was SnakeHammer.

Fun Fact: Undead has been in all of my stories (except for the 1st one). Also, in the 2nd story, he actually helped the villain. However, he then began to take the role of being my ally in the rest of my stories.

Chapter 30 - The Cure
SnakeHammer crossed his arms.
We walked towards him. I held Sandy tighter.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned.
"Checking if Sandy is okay." He answered.
"Oh come on, that ain't true." Xeno frowned.
"I've come to help." He said.
I looked at Xeno as she looked at me.
"Where's Captain Jack and the others?" I asked.
"I left them, just for now."
I took a step forward.
"Why are you helping us? Why aren't you as evil as those Gods." Xeno questioned.
"I'm sick of being controlled and abused by that wicked Witch known as Katy. Ever since she arrived, I've been treated like a cow." He answered.
"Oh come on, cows aren't that bad." Xeno shrugged.
"Anyway, I know a cure for Sandy." He added.
"A cure? Where? How? Tell me!" I shouted.
"At Captain Jack's base." He answered.
I heard Xeno sigh with relief.
"Take us there," Xeno said.
"Freeze... don't move a single muscle."

Captain Jack, Katy and Harry surrounded us.
"SnakeHammer, you should never leave my group. You could get killed by these... freaks." Captain Jack commanded.
"Yes sir." He said.
"Such blockheads. Leaving their group just to save a pathetic creature." Katy laughed crazily.
Mandy hopped back into Xeno's back pack and began to whimper.
"Ready to fire, sir?" Harry asked.
"W-wait, I've got a better idea!" SnakeHammer suggested.
Captain Jack crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes.
"Go on," Harry said.
"How about...
we turn them into Gods."
"Are you drunk?!" Xeno shouted.
I heard Mandy then growl.
Captain Jack then whispered to Katy. Katy then nodded and showed a giant smile.
"Alright. Harry, teleport us to our base." Captain Jack smirked.

It was pitch black for a split second. Then we were in the base.
We entered the room that we were in before.
Shattered glass remained on the floor. I noticed a couple cryo pods in the room with something in them.

The doors of the pod then opened. Two rotten demons flopped to the floor.
Captain Jack kicked them both to the wall.
Katy grabbed Mandy out of Xeno's backpack.
"If you hurt her I'll shove two fists down your throat." Xeno hissed.
"Relax... she's just going to turn into a monster like Sandy, hehe." Katy giggled.
"You bloody pig." Xeno murmured.
Captain Jack tried to take Sandy, but I took a step back.
"Hand him over... now." He hissed.
"I'm not letting you touch him." I growled.
Harry then held out his hand. A small flame spawned in his palm.
"Now."
Sweat dribbled down my face. He took a step forward, about to touch Sandy.

He then gasped. Lightning spammed around his body. He then dropped to the ground.
Harry turned around and shot fire at him. SnakeHammer rolled onto the ground and shot lightning at him, causing him to fall to the ground.
Mandy then bit onto Katy's nose, causing her to shriek.
Then SnakeHammer punched Katy on her face. She then flopped to the ground.
I remained in shock.
He then rushed out of the room.
I looked at Xeno. She remained silent.
SnakeHammer then entered the room again and looked at us.
"Come on, this way, quick." He commanded.
I quickly followed him. Sandy then shivered and growled in my arms.
We entered a room full of flasks and potions. It smelled so weird inside.
He searched each book shelf fast. Then he grabbed a flask with green, bubbly liquid.
"This should kill the dark bacteria in him, then he'll return back to normal." He explained.
Sandy began to bite, chomp and shiver.
"Hold his mouth still." SnakeHammer grunted.
I grabbed Sandy's jaw as he tried to bite onto my hand. Then I placed my other ahdn on his upper jaw.
He poured the liquid down his mouth.
Half of the liquid was now gone.
"Just a little bit more then he'll be okay." SnakeHammer said.
Suddenly, a gunshot rung my ears. Then I heard glass shattered and liquid splashing to the floor.
The flask had been shot, and the liquid was all over the floor.
Captain Jack stood at the door with a pistol.
"How DARE you betray me!" Captain Jack shouted.
Sandy was still in my arms... what if he needed more liquid to be normal?
A bullet rushed past me.
Mandy leaped onto Captain Jack causing him to fall to the ground as Mandy chomped on his face.
We ran past him and quickly headed to the exit.
SnakeHammer opened the gate, but when Xeno, Mandy and I were out, the gate started to close.
"SnakeHammer, come with us!" I gasped.
"I have to stay. In the future I may have to attack you... please remember that Captain Jack and Katy are the ones forcing me to do this. Stay strong." He said.
Xeno grabbed my hand and pulled it.
"We have to go, now." Xeno said.
I nodded and quickly followed Xeno and Mandy.

We stopped at a bunch of rocks. I sat on one and stared at Sandy. He was breathing heavily and slowly.
"Do you think the medicine would fix him?" Xeno asked.
"Don't know." I sighed.
Mandy sniffed Sandy. She whimpered and licked his nose.
"Louise."
I looked to my left, and the rest of my group arrived.
"Is Sandy okay?" Twage asked.
"I don't know." I shrugged.
"What happened?" Undead questioned.
I explained to them what happened, how SnakeHammer helped us and how he only had half of the medicine.
"Half of the medicine may only cure half of him." Kry said.
"What does that mean?" Agent S asked.
"Pika Pika?" Pikachu said.
"How should I know? I failed chemistry in school, alright?" Kry said.
"What happened to you guys?" Xeno questioned.
"Well, they kept attacking us until they realised SnakeHammer was gone. So they just... left us." Agent S said.

SnakeHammer's Perspective:

I was thrown to the wall. I held my stomach tight as I pressed my back against the wall.
"TRAITOR!" Katy shouted.
She slapped me on the cheek. A burning sting of pain was left on my cheek.
"Enough," Harry said.
She kicked my the leg. I whiped the blood dripping from my nose.
"Why? I want to kill him!" Katy hissed.
I coughed and rubbed my leg.
Captain Jack then entered the room. I looked down.
"I just told you to punch him ONCE, not twenty times!" He shouted.
"Why? He could've killed us!" Katy exclaimed.
"I have an explanation," I said.
"The power inside of me is growing stronger... I couldn't control it." I said.
It wasn't the truth, but I had to lie to survive.
He looked at Harry then bit his lip.
"The power inside of you can't be that crazy..." Harry wondered out loud.
"It was... lights flashing in my views, pain shooting around in my mind, limbs having a mind of it's own..." I gasped.
"Hmmph. You better control your powers then mister. Otherwise, you'll either get Louise's group killed or mine." Captain Jack said.
He exited out of the room.
Katy and Harry then walked out. I sighed and whipped my nose again.
"I'm sure Louise doesn't abuse her group like this..." I murmured to myself.
I walked into the laboratory.
I noticed the liquid still on the ground with shattered glass scattered around the floor.
"Stay strong, my friends..." I sighed.

Louise's Perspective:
He still hasn't moved.
I wondered if he was dead.
I pressed my ear against his fur. A very faint, slow thumping continued, but at any second it could stop.
Suddenly, I felt his chest rise then fall.
He finally breathed.
"He's breathing!" I exclaimed.
Everyone gathered around me.
It had been an hour since his first breath.
His eyes twitched and moved under his eyelids.
Everyone took a step back. I held my breath.
Then his eyes opened.

The scars and cuts on his body were healed. His fur was no longer prickly. The medicine must've have cured him.
"Louise?" He gasped.
I sighed in relief.
"How do you feel?" Undead questioned.
"Uhh... okay. A little bit tired and sick. What happened?" He said.
"You were turned into a monster, but you should be cured now." Xeno explained.
"Are you sure I've been cured? Because I feel something inside my back... like a large lump nd I can slightly move it." He said.
"Lump? What are you talking about?" I questioned.
He hopped out of my lap and looked down.
He began to grunt, then I noticed something growing out of his back...
A wing... a demon wing.
Then another wing came out. He spread the wings out and stared at them.
"What the heck? How did I get THIS?" He gasped.
I felt sweat drip down my face and my hands tingled.
He flapped his wings while remaining in shock.
"The medicine didn't work..." I murmured.

"Well... at least he isn't crazy anymore." Xeno shrugged.
Mandy sniffed Sandy's wings. Sandy then looked at me.
"Can you fly?" I questioned.
"I can try..." He answered nervously.
He then flapped his wings, and his feet began to float.
Then he was in the air as his wings continued to flap.
He slowly returned to the ground and stared at us.
"That's quite... surprising." Agent S gulped.
"I look like a freak..." He grunted.
"Oh come on, you actually look pretty cool," Kry commented.
"I'm a demon! How is that cool!" He shouted.
"You aren't a demon, you just have demon wings... everything else is cured." Undead explained.
"Jeez... wait till Captain Jack sees this. He'll probably laugh his face off." Sandy sighed.
I crossed my arms and tapped my foot on the ground and wondered.
"So how do we go to the next world?" Agent S asked Undead.
"We have to escape Hell." He answered.

"Escape? How the heck do we do that?" Twage gulped.
"Captain Jack is going to build a giant hole in the ceiling which then leads to the surface of this planet tomorrow. He plans to let all the demons out to attack everyone on this planet. This is when we could escape." Undead explained.
"How the hell do you know that?" Agent S said.
"I know everything." He answered.
"One problem, though. How are supposed to go up the hole that's like 100 meters high?" Xeno sighed.
We then all looked towards Sandy.
"I am not carrying you all. I'll break my back if I do!" He hissed.
"Not you Sandy... the beast behind you." Undead pointed.
He turned around and noticed the view.
A large, red dragon with rotten skin and some of its bone showing stood there eating a bunch of flesh from the ground. Large wings sat on each side of it's back, spread out.
"THAT thing?" Twage gasped.
"Oh come on, at least it's breath is better than yours." Xeno giggled.
"I'm slightly confused... why are we looking at that dragon thing?" I questioned.
"We're going to ride that to the surface of this planet." Kry said proudly.
I gulped as I noticed it's sharp teeth and red eyes.
"We shall rest here for now. Then tomorrow we shall ride the beast and escape!" Undead exclaimed.

Everyone was asleep. The lava ponds bubbled while the creatures of Hell crawled or flied across my view.
I couldn't sleep because I kept staring at Sandy who was staring at his wings.
I walked up to him. He looked at me.
"You know, maybe we could try and cut them off." I suggested.
"No... I'm fine with them, just not really used to it... having extra limbs to control." He said.
I bit my lip and looked at the ceiling.
I patted him on the head and walked back to my spot.
He then lowered his head and closed his eyes.
Then I closed my eyes and slept.
