This took me (I think) 5+ hours. Because I messed up with the layers a lot and I'm practicing with shades as well, and also, your art isn't bad. It's your style and it represents who you are. Keep going and you'll get there. I love your art, honestly. c:
Rushing creates a lot of mistakes, can lose the enjoyment doing it fully, but if you're calm & try working on it your own paste. It will become great, also you don't need too do everything in one day, you can make small bits here & there. Back on topic, nice Phoenix, this is really nice shows you've put much time into it & care, keep it up!

It's amazing but you should work on the hair a little more, for example hair isnt only light at the top and dark on the bottom. It varies. Play with shades and highlights and that piece will be perfect
