If you are getting this error when trying to connect to the ItsJerryAndHarry Minecraft server, it means that your computer is connecting to an outdated address.

The problem can usually be solved by flushing your DNS cache. Open the spoiler below to see how to flush your DNS cache.
How to flush your DNS cache on Windows:
    1. Hold the Windows Key on your keyboard and press "R". This will open a Run dialog box
    2. In the box, type "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotation marks.
    3. Press OK
How to flush your DNS cache on Mac:
    1. Open Terminal. You can do so by navigating to Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal
    2. Write the following without the quotation marks: "lookupd -flushcache"
    3. Press the Enter/Return Key on your keyboard.

After flushing your DNS cache, please completely restart your Minecraft client and try again.

If the problem is still not solved after trying the above, please read the instructions in the spoiler below.
If the problem is still not solved after trying the above, it means that the DNS resolver you are using is updating too slowly. By default, your computer will use the DNS resolver set up by your ISP. However, we highly recommend switching to Google's Public DNS, which can actually speed up your internet!

This requires a bit of technical knowledge, but if you are willing to try it, you can find a tutorial here: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

    Still not working?
If neither solution worked or you are unable to try both, you can use the following TEMPORARY IP address to connect to our server: fartssmellnice.party

Please note that this is a temporary IP address, and it can stop working at any moment, meaning you will not be able to connect to our server anymore. We recommend keeping our regular IP play.itsjerryandharry.com in your Minecraft server list, and switching back to using that as soon as it works again.
