CHILL OUT. I know a BUNCH of people out there who know how to download a texture pack in Minecraft. But, if someone didn't know, I made a thread for them! (I've downloaded BILLIONS.) CARMEN'S GUIDE ON: DOWNLOADING TEXTURE PACKS. Step 1 Open Minecraft, and then, click "Options." Step 2 Click "Resource Packs." Step 3 Click "Open Resource Packs Folder." Step 4 You should see a folder pop up. Good. Step 5 Go to http://www.planetminecraft.com/resources/texture_packs/ or http://resourcepack.net/. Step 6 (If you do not have a Mac OS X, sorry) Found a Resource Pack you like? Press download. Step 7 Open your "Resource Packs" folder again. Step 8 Drag and drop the .zip into your folder. Step 9 Click out of the Resource Pack options Step 10 Add the Resource Pack to the bar on the right. Step 11 Enjoy! SINCE I DON'T HAVE WINDOWS, THIS IS ONLY FOR MAC USERS! SORRY
This is really close to a Windows tutorial. Just like @Goner said, it's just the directory that is different. Anyway, great tutorial! Nice to see people doing something good for the people that are new or don't know how to do something.
Thank you! I really appreciate it! Thanks! I really like hearing your comments and what I could do to improve! :p
