    That's a paradox.
    Technically, so long as a thread is following its intended topic, it is on topic. For this, if the topic is being off topic, and if "off topic" things are posted there, then the thread is technically on topic, because the intended topic of the thread being off topic has been achieved.
    From that perspective one can say that talking about the thread being off topic would be on topic, which goes against the topic of the thread. This is also false, because while speaking about the topic would seem to be off topic (as it goes against the thread's intention), the moment it is considered off topic, it is instantly agreeing with the intended topic of the thread (namely, the topic of being off topic). Therefore, this thread's intention makes it impossible for it to be off topic, making it an impossible goal.
