Experimental modern build gone VERY wrong...

SO MY MIND DOES NOT WORK 100% OF THE TIME...

So I'm in this 1v1 build battle after winning a previous (1v1v1v2?) with a teammate and everyone left except the owner and I. We decide to do a modern build build, right?

I've done successful modern builds before:

But now I have double the usual amount of land because the plot is usually divided into 4. So I get a good plan set in my mind: Make the structure curve around the entering walkway! With some remaining space I build a pool. Everything is going well as I switch to building the structure.I think of how I'm curving it and how nice it's going to turn out.

Man was I wrong.
