Now that you clicked on this, you have hereby given me consent to force you to do 20 push-ups. I did push-ups for the first time yesterday in like actually years and let me tell you it took me to failure to just do 20 of them. My elbows were hurting and my arms were burning but I've decided to make it part of my routine to do basic exercises between homework: Learn a concept in Calculus, for instance, followed by 20 push-ups, 30 sit-ups, a plank, and then 30 squats. I know it's not a lot but it'll keep me happy and feeling like I'm improving. So I ask of you to partake in this fun little exercise: grab a towel, roll it across your carpet, and just do some push-ups. If 20 is too much or too little then I encourage you to make this number correct for you, and if you haven't worked out for years like myself, then this might be a good way to get kick-started. Keep in mind that exercise has a high correlation with happiness (I don't have a source for this but it's true-believe it) and this will do more than get your heart rate up and sore your muscles-it will improve your mood and will encourage you, as it did me, to make other aspects of your life better: like cleaning your room, doing your homework, eating more healthily, and really taking care of your skin. Hopefully at least one of you partook, and in this way, we can make our server the most fit of all Minecraft servers; we will become jacked as a community and then as our own little cult of thicc-bois we will advance into society a culture of fitness and lead our country(s) down a path for healthiness.
Maybe i need to try that for happiness because someone over here opened 140 crate keys in skyblock and got holy shits.
I've actually been doing this for the past two months or so. I do reps in the morning, afternoon, and evening. It's something I do to kill time and it won't take long. I'd say 5 minutes at most.
i have literally 0 upper boddy strength fjdjflk i've never been able to do more than 10 push ups even when i worked out everyday for track looool
It's exactly your kind of reply that made writing this post worth it. It feels very validating to know that something you said could actually influence the physical actions and activities of people you have never met.
