You're not the only one, this has been suggested off and on for years.

I'm with @ItsHarry on this. I think this should have been done years ago.

For everyone saying that this is like buying your way out of jail for money: we have the bail system. Definition of "Bail" : release or secure the release of (a prisoner) on payment of bail. I think this new system is going to be a really good way to fix up the server.

Eh, when you put it that way, I suppose this makes more sense. I'm less against it now :3

There are soooooo many ways to bypass without getting caught. Change IP, but then staff can just check location so I don't do this really anymore. There are so many ignorant people here who don't know how to do it and think that you need to buy a new router or some shit to do it but it literally takes like 10 minutes to do it. For some ISPs, you don't even need to call your ISP. Ok so lets move on. Use VPN but servers are able to tell if you're on a VPN and most VPNs are automatically banned by Mojang. Plus, they're slow a lot of times. Proxies are good. If you know how to make your own proxies and you're smart about it, you're kinda invincible. Use your phone's mobile hotspot which for me is probably the most successful. The reason the staff find out my identity is because the players on the server know my playing style, the tricks I use, and how I behave. I make it REALLY obvious sometimes and I know that. So pretend like you're a different person. So, what I've done a few times before is that when someone suspected me or called me out for being saad, I would give my account to a random guy or to one of my friends and then when the staff check the IP, they can see that it's their IP. It has worked for me before. But, I stopped so I don't get my friends into trouble.

basically what im saying is: don't bypass or you'll get caught. if you are gonna bypass, be smart about it but i highly discourage it.
staff will always find out if you're bypassing. it's only a matter of time.

There are specific players who think that they're smart by using VPN's etc to bipass. The issue is they don't change who they are or how they act. They're the same toxic person and that in my experience is what makes them get caught faster. Not that I expect players to put that much thought or effort into it.

Any sane person that doesn't have money growing on trees wouldn't do that. If there happens to be such a person, we can simply blacklist them.

So if a regularly toxic member of the community is rolling in money and opts to spend it on unbans, he can have a far lesser sentence than a one time offender? That seems like a bad system to me.

Bruh, it's not set in stone. If they abuse this system and still repeatedly hack we obviously won't keep unbanning them.

What is like the 1st banning time then bc ive been on here for 4 years without a warn, ban or mute and now im seeing first ban as 90 days. Just to buy an unban honestly it doesnt sound to cool. The ip ban sounds good to me tbh but the 90 day as first ban sounds wrong. For me id say 1st ban would be 3 weeks or so. Anyone agree with me? And maybe every ban u get makes the unbans more expensive. Thank u for reading this msg hopefully it gets taken into concideration
