Hey guys! As SOME of you know, my brother (@nghhi crul) is a pretty good redstoner. His latest creation was armor stand animations, and I found it amazing. So I made a video for him :) He did this in vanilla, which is really awesome. There are three characters, The blacksmith When you get close to him he says "Sorry, I can't talk right now, I'm busy" Moving hand animation. Really cool sword. Sounds. Hitting particles. Sweating (from the head, which is also a particle). The miner Mining animations. Breaking anvil. Sounds. And the last one, parkour nub. (My favorite) Moving. Jumping. Walking animation. Here's the video: Hope you enjoy ;) Yes he is 10 years old.
Well, it works like this: I just have a bunch of rows of command blocks. Each row activates the next row and deactivates itself so I can use it later again. Every row has an /entitydata command, that changes the rotation of different body parts, or, in a simpler way to explain, changes its pose. The body parts that I've used are ones such as right arm, left arm, right leg and left leg. Every row of command blocks is like a frame of the animation. Every frame changes the pose of the body part(s). Now, for every frame you can call a pixel, but it isn't really a pixel, because every frame has a bigger or smaller value than the previous frame, but the value that is added or removed per frame is not always the same. For example, in the parkour nub I used a difference of 1.0f for the right and left arm per frame, and I used a difference of 2.0f for the right and left leg per frame. Or vice versa, I don't remember anymore :P
the awkward moment when you know more than me at redstone, so I pretend to know what your saying "Oh um, yeah, I can do that, totally, yea, I can, jelly?" -Creeper5484 Just Now
Haha, thats still impressive ;) You use the ShowArms and Small tags. Thats better than just putting an armor stand with some equipment on it, and also custom player heads :)
