When you use the /report command, the online staff members receive your report as a message and are able to take care of it (they click a button to start solving or something... I don't know, doesn't really matter). When I report a hacker, what the moderators usually do is turn themselves invisible so the hackers won't disconnect or stop hacking. The reporter doesn't know their report is being processed and therefore starts recording, becomes mad (because it sometimes takes a while for the moderator to gather enough evidence before banning) etc. My suggestion is to send the reporter a message when their report is being processed.
