    ive literally only heard king crimson, genesis and gentle giant :( idk where to look to find good prog

    the mars volta is pretty decent, but i think you should look into krautrock. same time period as most classic prog and quite similar musically but german and more experimental. start with NEU! s/t and Can's Ege Bamyasi
