    its such a good album bro i listened to it for the first time yesterday (never dove into prog that much outside of genesis) and holy fuck im obsessed

    its easily a 10/10 i almost already know it by heart

    yeah people have their tastes, I think Red has some of their best tracks though ITCOTCK is a lot more consistent
    in terms of taste, you might like Tarkus by ELP, which was a supergroup set up by one of the members of King Crimson and some other English prog groups. they share some similarities to genesis in their sound i'd say (also the cover is a 10/10)

    thats cool, ill listen to it at some point

    and the reason why i think it's a stronger album is because tracks like "i talk to the wind" and "epitaph" are so powerful and i love this kind of music. literally all tracks are fascinating in this album, just like red, but ITCOTCK is simply a more powerful album for me

    yeah epitaph is one of my favourite songs ever tbh, i'd probably have it at my funeral lol. if you want more like those songs tho check out Islands, phenomenal album. focuses more on that powerful stuff you're into, as their original rythmn section left so the band sorta reinvented itself in a more orchestral way
