That's true.
But I agree with you in saying I would love for it to be Plagueis because someone of that power wouldn't be able to die that easily.
Also I kinda want Mace Windu to return as I loved his fighting style of Vapaad of form 7. No other Jedi on screen has fought like this and again many Jedi have fallen from great heights and survived.
Are there any Jedi/Sith you think are still alive?

Not really at the point of TFA, but I do believe there may have been some surviving Jedi throughout Return of The Jedi. Just the 30 year time-difference makes it kinda hard to believe any Jedi survive (old age and such), except for the younger ones like Ezra Bridger. But, we'll see what happens to him in SW Rebsls season four g-g

Also remember some of the Jedi aren't human e.g. Yoda therefore can survive much longer
