    Hi everyone.
I think the world has got the message of the horrific Manchester bombings last night at an Ariana Grande concert in the MEN Arena, and the impact it caused. 22 confirmed dead, and 58 taken to hospital with injuries, the worst terror attack Britain has faced in years. Tributes have poured in from a lot of famous celebrities, including Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and Barack Obama.

However, I decided to write this poem, out of pure boredom, in hope that this poem will put realization into the hearts of everyone who decides to read, please enjoy a poem I wrote in a few minutes, called Monday Night.

(Inspired by Mid-Term break, by Seamus Heaney.)

On a monday evening, the clouds sailed high,
Some got out of cars, a final goodbye.
Other travelled with families, to witness a star's fame.
But never would they step in their door again.

A party, and dancing, shouting and singing,
But soon the bomb detonated, and their ears started ringing.
    Fear, panic, delusion, confusion,
Innocent men, women and children, from their familes faced exclusion.

Blood ran down the alleys, shrapnel and glass panes,
While others were distraught as they rushed down the lanes.
As emergency services neared, the situation arose,
The oldest 26, the youngest named Saffie-Rose.
An eight year old girl, a young lady so sincere.
A career, a potential life lasting years.

But cold-blooded murder, what set their hearts still.
A nation yet to be thawed, a terrorising chill.
Reminded us all on a Monday May night,
That our country shan't always be kept in the light.

    A mass of opinions divided.
    A country's future undecided
    When we once again collided
    With a cruel fate.

    Manchester, we stand with you.

    Joey.

Damn joey, this was extremely moving. It's so sad what happened over there. I pray for all the families and friends of the victims.
