My opinion about school.

Honestly, school for me isn't all that bad, I just try not to mix it with my online life.

The classrooms are fine, I'm friends with like everyone, not to much homework, I like it.

What I don't like is grades. They literally don't mean anything, besides showing your parents if you're doing the work. I don't do most of my homework on the sole reason that I already know the subject. Yeah, it may get me straight C's (except for PE), but I already know it, what's the point.

End of the year tests also suck. All it proves is if the teachers are teaching the right things. And if they don't, the people who make the tests don't care if your teacher never taught it, they penalize you.

Both of my parents are teachers, both say that the only reason I go to school is because it's the law. But I like it, so I guess ima keep going.

 

School is alright for me. There will be good and bad days, but that happens to everyone. Sometimes, classes will be pretty boring, at the same time, it couldn't hurt to learn about it. I do well in classes that I find entertaining and I bet many people feel the same way too.

 

I don't like being alone and I love my friends. Also, I got used to the school stress a long time ago, so not going to school is just boring for me. I like school.

I live in Chicago and go to this crazy ass advanced school called Skinner West. We have about 3 hours of homework each night (1 if we get lucky) and our school day is 8 hours and 45 minutes long. None of us are dumb. I have 2 close friends, and my grades are alright.
The only thing that makes me mad about this school is the high school enrollment program. Since we go to such a hard school, it's harder to get better grades. The program is county-wide, so if I could have gone to any easier school for just this year, I would've almost aced the test.
I strongly dislike it, because I am going from the #1 middle school to the #6 high school (In chicago).
Needless to say, my parents expect more of me than this. I'm only bored in math class. I'm top 97% in math and 98% in reading, but I struggle to have all A's.

 

As much as I hate school with a passion (like really really pure hate), I wouldn't go to another school. In the Netherlands, there is the school system where you can choose a school which fits with how "smart" you are. I am now on the highest level and I have the most amazing friends. The nice thing is that you can even talk to teachers normally and just have lovely chats. Its also a fairly small school (around 700 students), so it really gives you a connection with everyone. And even when we get called the smartest students of the country, we still share dank memes and play all kinds of games (the younger ones still play pokemon go).

I will literally cry if I fail my exam and I have to sit another year on school, but its not because I think the school I'm on is bad, just that I don't like all the work I have to do.

 

My school isn't that great compared to anyone here. I'm an average kid. I've pretty much failed in middle school before, and my math grade is so bad, I have to enter a private islamic highschool. I hate it.
I'm so used to be friend with boys since I'm in middle school. They're fun to hang out with, and all of us play games. Now that I'm in an islamic school, they don't mix girls and boys anymore, being in a "girls only" class sucks. Most of them are boring to death imo.
Other things I hate here is that I have to study Arabic. I'm expecting myself to learn Russian/German at this time, but now I have to learn Arabic instead.
But seriously, I have nothing better to do at home other than playing games and talk shit online. I rather go to school, make friend with everyone, study what I need, and enjoy life.

 

I REALLY REALLY (x3) hte school, because we have a squeaker teacher who yells about everything. She only shows us what to write for three seconds, THREE SECONDS, so I can't get a good grade.

 

That's terrible. If anything the kids who play sports encourage one another to join teams, must be lucky for me.

 

I find school interesting/fun when I'm actually learning something. Some curricula are very repetitive which, for me at least, gets boring fast.

 

I hate school so much I have to repeat my sophomore year because of a incident i was involved with last year my counselor who doesn't help me very much say i might graduate after summer school next year that means i cant graduate like a normal person but hey i still get my diploma the worst part in my school is whenever i talk about politics the teachers get pissed off about it if you don't want your students to talk or be involved in politics why have a student government why have a student president who has no influence in the school unlike in the first episode of american dad where stan the main charecters son steve is student president and actually has power he even uses the principals office as his base of operations because steve pointed out a loophole saying that the student president can acquire any room on campus for the purpose of school business if i were student president i would make changes to the school like have interfaith groups where people can meet other people whose religion aint just christianity but muslims buddhists hindus and any religious group can come and make new friends and a refugee support group where if there refugees in our school we can help them adapt to life in the United States by teaching them American English and what we do here at school

Eh, it can be stressful or tedious sometimes but I know I gotta do it if I'm going to do anything remotely productive with my life.

 

School does not teach us life skills we are actually going to use. They teach us what is "Required" by the state that they have been teaching for years like Algebra II. No one is every going to use logarithms or exponential quadratic square root equations in real life. We should be learning about how the world works and stay up to date with current events like how stocks work or banking. I find those subjects interesting because I know I will use them as I already do working, and soon buying a house. The states need to re-figure what needs to be taught instead of what should be taught

 

I go to an international school called Canadian International School Bangalore. I've finished the IGCSE syllabus and am doing IB now. IB is pretty tough, but it's a good challenge. The teachers are incredibly fun, and the students are very friendly. My school really knows how to keep students interested in school, for example, two weeks ago, I went on a school excursion to Thailand for the CAS aspect of IB. It was a really mind blowing experience and I'm thankful for receiving such a good education.

Well I really like school. It is boring at times but your friends can make it more fun. Well I only have 2 exams left to go and after them I have vacation for almost 3 months and 1 week.

 

honestly, school isn't that bad... even though I complain about it a lot. I actually enjoy going to school because I get to see my friends and they usually have clubs and fun activities. It really isn't that hard to study or do your work too, although that's kinda dumb to say coming from someone who barely hands her assignments in on time. I'm not a morning person so it's a pain in the ass to wake up so early everyday and that's really the only complain I have about school. My mom is like really strict when it comes to school related topics and I usually can never stay home. Even when I'm sick she just gives me medicine and shoo's me out the door. This one time I was sick and she let me stay, and I was soooooooo bored. I sometimes get tired of school and always wanna find a way to stay home but it's funny how when I actually get to stay home all I wanna do is go to school. Idk, I don't get it but I've always been like a really smart student and I think everyone is smart too, so if people actually tried to learn instead of acting like dumb animals people would probably enjoy school more.
