People who say "such a faggot lol gay boi go get some dick" you need to think about what a staff member does. They're trying to make it so everyone can have a great time, but if you say bad words and do not necessary behavior then the staff member has to do their job.

    It's a noble cause...though a futile one nonetheless.

Toxicity in the environment is never going to vanish, nor will it ever be purged. We have the pleasure of living in a world where toxicity, stereotyping, race/ethnic targeting, and rebellious behavior has become the standard of life. In certain parts of the world, such practices have almost become encouraged. These practices get passed on to children, and then to the children's children.

You mentioned that there are young people coming to the server, and that they are susceptible to what they see happening. It is true that younger minds have more of a "monkey see, monkey do" logic. You specifically focused on the tendency for these players to begin abusing staff members, however it could be applied to any toxic behavior at all. They don't have to learn the behaviors from the server players, either. Chances are, they've already learned them in life prior to joining, be it from parents or peers. Meaning that with every new generation that joins the server, toxic players will be among them. It isn't really the older players that are the problem, but the younger ones. Sure, the older players do it more second-nature, but the newer players can be just as bad.

You have to realize that stopping toxicity in the community isn't as simple as having the staff take more measures to combat it. It will always be an uphill battle, and it will always be a losing one at that. In order to effectively fight it, you would have to change society and human behavior as a whole. And you can't rewire a human like you can rewire a machine.

People will grow out of toxic practices over time. And when they do, they will be replaced by someone just as toxic. It's just the way things are, and you can't change that. Let staff do what they have been doing, keep doing what you have been doing, and let time do the rest.

I come from one of the communities with the toughest and strict moderators on reddit, and everyone supporting them. A healthy community is where everyone supporting the right thing that the moderators do for the community.

I know that you can never remove this kind of people in a community, there's atleast 1 person who's being toxic to everyone
And when 1 person changed, they'll be replaced by others. In the worst scenario, they'll make another account when they get banned, so they can stay and keep annoying people (this happens so many times, especially in reddit)

Well... I can't do anything other than watching them since I'm not a staff. I just want to say thank you and good luck to every staff who dedicate some of their free time to deal with these people.

Anddd.. 1 question. Has there any staff who got demoted because he abused his position and be an "asshole" to everyone?
sorry if this question offends anyone, I'm just curious

This bothers me a lot. When I became a staff member, my first day got ruined due to... some events.

I recently lost a friend, saying that I've changed, that I got selfish, and that I'm no fun anymore. They said they got 'some sense' talked into them.

People think staff are some kind of robots sometimes, that we don't feel anything anymore. But we do. It still hurts.

This is just something I wanted to get off my chest since I've been friends with this person for 2 years. We were close.

    Welp.

I agree, sometimes toxic players can be even worse than hackers in my mind.
