Yes, this thread is a damn original idea lol. Forgive the horrible English and sorry overall, haven't made such a thread before.

Hello there,

since 2016 is (finally / sadly) coming to an end, I think it’s time to retrospect the past year, how horrible or wonderful it may have been. Some beautiful events in your life and maybe a fulfilled new year’s resolution equals a nice year – at first sight.



Significant events


In and around Brussels 32 people were murdered and over 300 were injured in 3 terrorist attacks in the Belgian capital on March 22nd.


The English people (orange) decide to leave the European Union in a referendum on June 23rd.


86 people were killed in a terrorist attack in Nice on July 14th, the French national holiday (Bastille Day).


On November 8th Donald Trump is elected as 45th president of the United States.

June 12th: 49 people are killed in a nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

July 3rd: In a very severe terrorist attack in Bagdad more than 290 people are killed by bombs.

December 10th: A terrorist attack in Istanbul claimes the lives of 38 people.

I suggest adding the good things about 2016, it wasn't all bad lol

And the terror attack in Belgium, Brussels, killing 32 people
